وَ لَقَدۡ اَرۡسَلۡنَا نُوۡحًا اِلٰی قَوۡمِہٖ فَلَبِثَ فِیۡہِمۡ اَلۡفَ سَنَۃٍ اِلَّا خَمۡسِیۡنَ عَامًا ؕ فَاَخَذَہُمُ الطُّوۡفَانُ وَ ہُمۡ ظٰلِمُوۡنَ ﴿۱۴﴾

14. اور بیشک ہم نے نوح (علیہ السلام) کو ان کی قوم کی طرف بھیجا تو وہ ان میں پچاس برس کم ایک ہزار سال رہے، پھر ان لوگوں کو طوفان نے آپکڑا اس حال میں کہ وہ ظالم تھےo

14. Indeed, We sent Nuh (Noah) to his people. And he stayed among them for a thousand years, less fifty. Then, the flood overtook them while they were wrongdoers.

(الْعَنْکَبُوْت، 29 : 14)
