In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the All-Merciful
اَلۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰہِ فَاطِرِ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الۡاَرۡضِ جَاعِلِ الۡمَلٰٓئِکَۃِ رُسُلًا اُولِیۡۤ اَجۡنِحَۃٍ مَّثۡنٰی وَ ثُلٰثَ وَ رُبٰعَ ؕ یَزِیۡدُ فِی الۡخَلۡقِ مَا یَشَآءُ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ عَلٰی کُلِّ شَیۡءٍ قَدِیۡرٌ ﴿۱﴾
1. All praise belongs to Allah, the Originator of the heavens and the earth, the Maker of the angels as messengers who fly on wings with two, three or four (pairs). He increases in creation whatever He wishes. Indeed, Allah is All-Capable of everything.
الحمد لله فاطر السماوات والأرض جاعل الملائكة رسلا أولي أجنحة مثنى وثلاث ورباع يزيد في الخلق ما يشاء إن الله على كل شيء قدير
(فَاطِر، 35 : 1)
مَا یَفۡتَحِ اللّٰہُ لِلنَّاسِ مِنۡ رَّحۡمَۃٍ فَلَا مُمۡسِکَ لَہَا ۚ وَ مَا یُمۡسِکۡ ۙ فَلَا مُرۡسِلَ لَہٗ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِہٖ ؕ وَ ہُوَ الۡعَزِیۡزُ الۡحَکِیۡمُ ﴿۲﴾
2. Whatever mercy Allah opens for the people, there is none to withhold it. And whatever He withholds, there is none to release it after Him. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
ما يفتح الله للناس من رحمة فلا ممسك لها وما يمسك فلا مرسل له من بعده وهو العزيز الحكيم
(فَاطِر، 35 : 2)
یٰۤاَیُّہَا النَّاسُ اذۡکُرُوۡا نِعۡمَتَ اللّٰہِ عَلَیۡکُمۡ ؕ ہَلۡ مِنۡ خَالِقٍ غَیۡرُ اللّٰہِ یَرۡزُقُکُمۡ مِّنَ السَّمَآءِ وَ الۡاَرۡضِ ؕ لَاۤ اِلٰہَ اِلَّا ہُوَ ۫ۖ فَاَنّٰی تُؤۡفَکُوۡنَ ﴿۳﴾
3. O humankind! Remember Allah’s blessing upon you. Is there any Creator other than Allah who may provide you (sustenance) from the heavens and the earth? There is no god except Him. So, how can you be so deluded?
يا أيها الناس اذكروا نعمت الله عليكم هل من خالق غير الله يرزقكم من السماء والأرض لا إله إلا هو فأنى تؤفكون
(فَاطِر، 35 : 3)
وَ اِنۡ یُّکَذِّبُوۡکَ فَقَدۡ کُذِّبَتۡ رُسُلٌ مِّنۡ قَبۡلِکَ ؕ وَ اِلَی اللّٰہِ تُرۡجَعُ الۡاُمُوۡرُ ﴿۴﴾
4. If they deny you, indeed (other) messengers were (also) denied before you. And (in the end) all matters are returned to Allah.
وإن يكذبوك فقد كذبت رسل من قبلك وإلى الله ترجع الأمور
(فَاطِر، 35 : 4)
یٰۤاَیُّہَا النَّاسُ اِنَّ وَعۡدَ اللّٰہِ حَقٌّ فَلَا تَغُرَّنَّکُمُ الۡحَیٰوۃُ الدُّنۡیَا ٝ وَ لَا یَغُرَّنَّکُمۡ بِاللّٰہِ الۡغَرُوۡرُ ﴿۵﴾
5. O humankind! Indeed, Allah’s promise is true. Therefore, let not the worldly life deceive you, nor let the Deceiver deceive you regarding Allah.
يا أيها الناس إن وعد الله حق فلا تغرنكم الحياة الدنيا ولا يغرنكم بالله الغرور
(فَاطِر، 35 : 5)
اِنَّ الشَّیۡطٰنَ لَکُمۡ عَدُوٌّ فَاتَّخِذُوۡہُ عَدُوًّا ؕ اِنَّمَا یَدۡعُوۡا حِزۡبَہٗ لِیَکُوۡنُوۡا مِنۡ اَصۡحٰبِ السَّعِیۡرِ ؕ﴿۶﴾
6. Indeed, Satan is your enemy. So, treat him as an enemy. He only invites his followers so that they may become the inhabitants of the Blaze.
إن الشيطان لكم عدو فاتخذوه عدوا إنما يدعوا حزبه ليكونوا من أصحاب السعير
(فَاطِر، 35 : 6)
اَلَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا لَہُمۡ عَذَابٌ شَدِیۡدٌ ۬ؕ وَ الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَ عَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ لَہُمۡ مَّغۡفِرَۃٌ وَّ اَجۡرٌ کَبِیۡرٌ ﴿٪۷﴾
7. (As for) the disbelievers, there is a severe punishment for them. But (as for) those who believe and perform righteous deeds, they shall have forgiveness and a great reward.
الذين كفروا لهم عذاب شديد والذين آمنوا وعملوا الصالحات لهم مغفرة وأجر كبير
(فَاطِر، 35 : 7)
اَفَمَنۡ زُیِّنَ لَہٗ سُوۡٓءُ عَمَلِہٖ فَرَاٰہُ حَسَنًا ؕ فَاِنَّ اللّٰہَ یُضِلُّ مَنۡ یَّشَآءُ وَ یَہۡدِیۡ مَنۡ یَّشَآءُ ۫ۖ فَلَا تَذۡہَبۡ نَفۡسُکَ عَلَیۡہِمۡ حَسَرٰتٍ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ عَلِیۡمٌۢ بِمَا یَصۡنَعُوۡنَ ﴿۸﴾
8. Is someone whose evil conduct is made so appealing to him that he regards it as good (like the rightly guided and virtuous conduct)? Indeed, Allah leaves to stray whoever He wills and guides whoever He pleases. So do not let your soul waste away in grief for them. Surely, Allah is All-Knowing of what they do.
أفمن زين له سوء عمله فرآه حسنا فإن الله يضل من يشاء ويهدي من يشاء فلا تذهب نفسك عليهم حسرات إن الله عليم بما يصنعون
(فَاطِر، 35 : 8)
وَ اللّٰہُ الَّذِیۡۤ اَرۡسَلَ الرِّیٰحَ فَتُثِیۡرُ سَحَابًا فَسُقۡنٰہُ اِلٰی بَلَدٍ مَّیِّتٍ فَاَحۡیَیۡنَا بِہِ الۡاَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِہَا ؕ کَذٰلِکَ النُّشُوۡرُ ﴿۹﴾
9. It is Allah Who sends the winds, and they cause clouds to rise (together). Then We drive it towards a dead land to water it. Then, with it, We revive the earth after its death. Similar will be the resurrection (of the dead).
والله الذي أرسل الرياح فتثير سحابا فسقناه إلى بلد ميت فأحيينا به الأرض بعد موتها كذلك النشور
(فَاطِر، 35 : 9)
مَنۡ کَانَ یُرِیۡدُ الۡعِزَّۃَ فَلِلّٰہِ الۡعِزَّۃُ جَمِیۡعًا ؕ اِلَیۡہِ یَصۡعَدُ الۡکَلِمُ الطَّیِّبُ وَ الۡعَمَلُ الصَّالِحُ یَرۡفَعُہٗ ؕ وَ الَّذِیۡنَ یَمۡکُرُوۡنَ السَّیِّاٰتِ لَہُمۡ عَذَابٌ شَدِیۡدٌ ؕ وَ مَکۡرُ اُولٰٓئِکَ ہُوَ یَبُوۡرُ ﴿۱۰﴾
10. Whoever seeks honour, then (let him know that) all honour belongs to Allah. The good words ascend to Him alone, and He uplifts the righteous deed. As for those who plot evil deeds, they will suffer a severe punishment. And the plotting of such people will surely perish.
من كان يريد العزة فلله العزة جميعا إليه يصعد الكلم الطيب والعمل الصالح يرفعه والذين يمكرون السيئات لهم عذاب شديد ومكر أولئك هو يبور
(فَاطِر، 35 : 10)
وَ اللّٰہُ خَلَقَکُمۡ مِّنۡ تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ مِنۡ نُّطۡفَۃٍ ثُمَّ جَعَلَکُمۡ اَزۡوَاجًا ؕ وَ مَا تَحۡمِلُ مِنۡ اُنۡثٰی وَ لَا تَضَعُ اِلَّا بِعِلۡمِہٖ ؕ وَ مَا یُعَمَّرُ مِنۡ مُّعَمَّرٍ وَّ لَا یُنۡقَصُ مِنۡ عُمُرِہٖۤ اِلَّا فِیۡ کِتٰبٍ ؕ اِنَّ ذٰلِکَ عَلَی اللّٰہِ یَسِیۡرٌ ﴿۱۱﴾
11. Allah created you from dust, then from a fertilised egg (i.e. a zygote ), and then He made you mates (i.e. males and females). And no female conceives or delivers except with His knowledge. No older person advances in age, nor is anything decreased from his life, but it is (all recorded) in a Book. That is indeed easy for Allah.

والله خلقكم من تراب ثم من نطفة ثم جعلكم أزواجا وما تحمل من أنثى ولا تضع إلا بعلمه وما يعمر من معمر ولا ينقص من عمره إلا في كتاب إن ذلك على الله يسير
(فَاطِر، 35 : 11)
وَ مَا یَسۡتَوِی الۡبَحۡرٰنِ ٭ۖ ہٰذَا عَذۡبٌ فُرَاتٌ سَآئِغٌ شَرَابُہٗ وَ ہٰذَا مِلۡحٌ اُجَاجٌ ؕ وَ مِنۡ کُلٍّ تَاۡکُلُوۡنَ لَحۡمًا طَرِیًّا وَّ تَسۡتَخۡرِجُوۡنَ حِلۡیَۃً تَلۡبَسُوۡنَہَا ۚ وَ تَرَی الۡفُلۡکَ فِیۡہِ مَوَاخِرَ لِتَبۡتَغُوۡا مِنۡ فَضۡلِہٖ وَ لَعَلَّکُمۡ تَشۡکُرُوۡنَ ﴿۱۲﴾
12. The two seas are not equal: This one is sweet, satisfying and delicious to drink, and the other is salty and bitter. Yet from each of them, you eat fresh meat and extract ornaments you wear. And you see the ships cleaving through it so that you may seek His grace and perhaps be grateful (to Him).
وما يستوي البحران هذا عذب فرات سائغ شرابه وهذا ملح أجاج ومن كل تأكلون لحما طريا وتستخرجون حلية تلبسونها وترى الفلك فيه مواخر لتبتغوا من فضله ولعلكم تشكرون
(فَاطِر، 35 : 12)
یُوۡلِجُ الَّیۡلَ فِی النَّہَارِ وَ یُوۡلِجُ النَّہَارَ فِی الَّیۡلِ ۙ وَ سَخَّرَ الشَّمۡسَ وَ الۡقَمَرَ ۫ۖ کُلٌّ یَّجۡرِیۡ لِاَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّی ؕ ذٰلِکُمُ اللّٰہُ رَبُّکُمۡ لَہُ الۡمُلۡکُ ؕ وَ الَّذِیۡنَ تَدۡعُوۡنَ مِنۡ دُوۡنِہٖ مَا یَمۡلِکُوۡنَ مِنۡ قِطۡمِیۡرٍ ﴿ؕ۱۳﴾
13. He causes the night to merge into the day and causes the day to merge into the night. And He has subjected the sun and the moon, each orbiting for a specified term. That is Allah, your Lord! All sovereignty belongs to Him. And those (idols) you worship besides Him do not control even the skin of a date stone.
يولج الليل في النهار ويولج النهار في الليل وسخر الشمس والقمر كل يجري لأجل مسمى ذلكم الله ربكم له الملك والذين تدعون من دونه ما يملكون من قطمير
(فَاطِر، 35 : 13)
اِنۡ تَدۡعُوۡہُمۡ لَا یَسۡمَعُوۡا دُعَآءَکُمۡ ۚ وَ لَوۡ سَمِعُوۡا مَا اسۡتَجَابُوۡا لَکُمۡ ؕ وَ یَوۡمَ الۡقِیٰمَۃِ یَکۡفُرُوۡنَ بِشِرۡکِکُمۡ ؕ وَ لَا یُنَبِّئُکَ مِثۡلُ خَبِیۡرٍ ﴿٪۱۴﴾
14. (O polytheists!) If you call upon them, they cannot hear your call. And if they were to hear, they could not respond to you. And on the Day of Resurrection, they will deny your ascribing partners to Allah. And no one can inform you like the One Who is All-Aware.
إن تدعوهم لا يسمعوا دعاءكم ولو سمعوا ما استجابوا لكم ويوم القيامة يكفرون بشرككم ولا ينبئك مثل خبير
(فَاطِر، 35 : 14)
یٰۤاَیُّہَا النَّاسُ اَنۡتُمُ الۡفُقَرَآءُ اِلَی اللّٰہِ ۚ وَ اللّٰہُ ہُوَ الۡغَنِیُّ الۡحَمِیۡدُ ﴿۱۵﴾
15. O humankind! You are the ones in need of Allah. And Allah is the One Who is the All-Sufficient, the All-Praiseworthy.
يا أيها الناس أنتم الفقراء إلى الله والله هو الغني الحميد
(فَاطِر، 35 : 15)
وَ لَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَۃٌ وِّزۡرَ اُخۡرٰی ؕ وَ اِنۡ تَدۡعُ مُثۡقَلَۃٌ اِلٰی حِمۡلِہَا لَا یُحۡمَلۡ مِنۡہُ شَیۡءٌ وَّ لَوۡ کَانَ ذَا قُرۡبٰی ؕ اِنَّمَا تُنۡذِرُ الَّذِیۡنَ یَخۡشَوۡنَ رَبَّہُمۡ بِالۡغَیۡبِ وَ اَقَامُوا الصَّلٰوۃَ ؕ وَ مَنۡ تَزَکّٰی فَاِنَّمَا یَتَزَکّٰی لِنَفۡسِہٖ ؕ وَ اِلَی اللّٰہِ الۡمَصِیۡرُ ﴿۱۸﴾
18. No bearer will bear the burden of another. And if a heavily burdened soul calls (another) to carry its burden, none of its load will be carried, even if he were a close relative. You can only warn those who fear their Lord in private and maintain the prayer. Whoever purifies himself only purifies for his own sake. And to Allah is the eventual return.
ولا تزر وازرة وزر أخرى وإن تدع مثقلة إلى حملها لا يحمل منه شيء ولو كان ذا قربى إنما تنذر الذين يخشون ربهم بالغيب وأقاموا الصلاة ومن تزكى فإنما يتزكى لنفسه وإلى الله المصير
(فَاطِر، 35 : 18)
وَ مَا یَسۡتَوِی الۡاَحۡیَآءُ وَ لَا الۡاَمۡوَاتُ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ یُسۡمِعُ مَنۡ یَّشَآءُ ۚ وَ مَاۤ اَنۡتَ بِمُسۡمِعٍ مَّنۡ فِی الۡقُبُوۡرِ ﴿۲۲﴾
22. nor are the living equal to the dead. Indeed, Allah makes whoever He pleases to hear, and you cannot make those in the graves hear.*
* Here, the words ‘man fi al-qubur’ (those in the graves) allude to the disbelievers. It means you are not responsible for making the disbelievers accept your call. The leading exegetes have reported that the Companions and the Followers narrated the same meaning. References: Tafsir al-Baghawi, Zad al-Masir, Tafsir al-Qurtubi, Tafsir al-Khazin, Tafsir Ibn Kathir, Tafsir al-Lubab, al-Durr al-Manthur and Fath al-Qadir.
وما يستوي الأحياء ولا الأموات إن الله يسمع من يشاء وما أنت بمسمع من في القبور
(فَاطِر، 35 : 22)
اِنَّاۤ اَرۡسَلۡنٰکَ بِالۡحَقِّ بَشِیۡرًا وَّ نَذِیۡرًا ؕ وَ اِنۡ مِّنۡ اُمَّۃٍ اِلَّا خَلَا فِیۡہَا نَذِیۡرٌ ﴿۲۴﴾
24. We have sent you with the truth as a conveyor of glad tidings and a warner. And there was not a nation, but a warner had gone among them.
إنا أرسلناك بالحق بشيرا ونذيرا وإن من أمة إلا خلا فيها نذير
(فَاطِر، 35 : 24)
وَ اِنۡ یُّکَذِّبُوۡکَ فَقَدۡ کَذَّبَ الَّذِیۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِہِمۡ ۚ جَآءَتۡہُمۡ رُسُلُہُمۡ بِالۡبَیِّنٰتِ وَ بِالزُّبُرِ وَ بِالۡکِتٰبِ الۡمُنِیۡرِ ﴿۲۵﴾
25. And if they deny you, those before them had also denied (likewise), (when) their messengers brought them clear proofs, divine scriptures and the enlightening Book.
وإن يكذبوك فقد كذب الذين من قبلهم جاءتهم رسلهم بالبينات وبالزبر وبالكتاب المنير
(فَاطِر، 35 : 25)
اَلَمۡ تَرَ اَنَّ اللّٰہَ اَنۡزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَآءِ مَآءً ۚ فَاَخۡرَجۡنَا بِہٖ ثَمَرٰتٍ مُّخۡتَلِفًا اَلۡوَانُہَا ؕ وَ مِنَ الۡجِبَالِ جُدَدٌۢ بِیۡضٌ وَّ حُمۡرٌ مُّخۡتَلِفٌ اَلۡوَانُہَا وَ غَرَابِیۡبُ سُوۡدٌ ﴿۲۷﴾
27. Do you not see that Allah sends down rain from the sky with which We produce fruits of various colours? In the mountains are streaks of white, red, and diverse shades, and others intensely black.
ألم تر أن الله أنزل من السماء ماء فأخرجنا به ثمرات مختلفا ألوانها ومن الجبال جدد بيض وحمر مختلف ألوانها وغرابيب سود
(فَاطِر، 35 : 27)
وَ مِنَ النَّاسِ وَ الدَّوَآبِّ وَ الۡاَنۡعَامِ مُخۡتَلِفٌ اَلۡوَانُہٗ کَذٰلِکَ ؕ اِنَّمَا یَخۡشَی اللّٰہَ مِنۡ عِبَادِہِ الۡعُلَمٰٓؤُا ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ عَزِیۡزٌ غَفُوۡرٌ ﴿۲۸﴾
28. And among humans, beasts and cattle are also diverse colours. Indeed, only the knowledgeable among His servants fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is All-Mighty, Most-Forgiving.
ومن الناس والدواب والأنعام مختلف ألوانه كذلك إنما يخشى الله من عباده العلماء إن الله عزيز غفور
(فَاطِر، 35 : 28)
اِنَّ الَّذِیۡنَ یَتۡلُوۡنَ کِتٰبَ اللّٰہِ وَ اَقَامُوا الصَّلٰوۃَ وَ اَنۡفَقُوۡا مِمَّا رَزَقۡنٰہُمۡ سِرًّا وَّ عَلَانِیَۃً یَّرۡجُوۡنَ تِجَارَۃً لَّنۡ تَبُوۡرَ ﴿ۙ۲۹﴾
29. Surely, those who recite the Book of Allah, establish prayer and spend secretly and openly from what We have provided them hope for a trade that will never perish,
إن الذين يتلون كتاب الله وأقاموا الصلاة وأنفقوا مما رزقناهم سرا وعلانية يرجون تجارة لن تبور
(فَاطِر، 35 : 29)
وَ الَّذِیۡۤ اَوۡحَیۡنَاۤ اِلَیۡکَ مِنَ الۡکِتٰبِ ہُوَ الۡحَقُّ مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَیۡنَ یَدَیۡہِ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ بِعِبَادِہٖ لَخَبِیۡرٌۢ بَصِیۡرٌ ﴿۳۱﴾
31. The Book which We have revealed to you is the truth, confirming what was (revealed) before it. Indeed, Allah is All-Aware (and) All-Seeing of His servants.
والذي أوحينا إليك من الكتاب هو الحق مصدقا لما بين يديه إن الله بعباده لخبير بصير
(فَاطِر، 35 : 31)
ثُمَّ اَوۡرَثۡنَا الۡکِتٰبَ الَّذِیۡنَ اصۡطَفَیۡنَا مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا ۚ فَمِنۡہُمۡ ظَالِمٌ لِّنَفۡسِہٖ ۚ وَ مِنۡہُمۡ مُّقۡتَصِدٌ ۚ وَ مِنۡہُمۡ سَابِقٌۢ بِالۡخَیۡرٰتِ بِاِذۡنِ اللّٰہِ ؕ ذٰلِکَ ہُوَ الۡفَضۡلُ الۡکَبِیۡرُ ﴿ؕ۳۲﴾
32. Then We made heirs to the Book those We chose from Our servants. Yet among them are some who wrong themselves, some who are average (in rank) and some who are foremost in virtuous deeds by Allah’s will. That is the greatest grace.
ثم أورثنا الكتاب الذين اصطفينا من عبادنا فمنهم ظالم لنفسه ومنهم مقتصد ومنهم سابق بالخيرات بإذن الله ذلك هو الفضل الكبير
(فَاطِر، 35 : 32)
جَنّٰتُ عَدۡنٍ یَّدۡخُلُوۡنَہَا یُحَلَّوۡنَ فِیۡہَا مِنۡ اَسَاوِرَ مِنۡ ذَہَبٍ وَّ لُؤۡلُؤًا ۚ وَ لِبَاسُہُمۡ فِیۡہَا حَرِیۡرٌ ﴿۳۳﴾
33. (There will be) the Gardens of Eternity, which they will enter, where they will be adorned with bracelets of gold and pearls, and their clothing therein will be of silk.
جنات عدن يدخلونها يحلون فيها من أساور من ذهب ولؤلؤا ولباسهم فيها حرير
(فَاطِر، 35 : 33)
وَ قَالُوا الۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰہِ الَّذِیۡۤ اَذۡہَبَ عَنَّا الۡحَزَنَ ؕ اِنَّ رَبَّنَا لَغَفُوۡرٌ شَکُوۡرُۨ ﴿ۙ۳۴﴾
34. And they will say: ‘All praise belongs to Allah, Who has removed all sorrow from us. Indeed, our Lord is Most-Forgiving, Most-Appreciative,
وقالوا الحمد لله الذي أذهب عنا الحزن إن ربنا لغفور شكور
(فَاطِر، 35 : 34)
الَّذِیۡۤ اَحَلَّنَا دَارَ الۡمُقَامَۃِ مِنۡ فَضۡلِہٖ ۚ لَا یَمَسُّنَا فِیۡہَا نَصَبٌ وَّ لَا یَمَسُّنَا فِیۡہَا لُغُوۡبٌ ﴿۳۵﴾
35. Who has settled us in the everlasting home by His grace, wherein no exertion will touch us, nor any fatigue will befall us.’
الذي أحلنا دار المقامة من فضله لا يمسنا فيها نصب ولا يمسنا فيها لغوب
(فَاطِر، 35 : 35)
وَ الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا لَہُمۡ نَارُ جَہَنَّمَ ۚ لَا یُقۡضٰی عَلَیۡہِمۡ فَیَمُوۡتُوۡا وَ لَا یُخَفَّفُ عَنۡہُمۡ مِّنۡ عَذَابِہَا ؕ کَذٰلِکَ نَجۡزِیۡ کُلَّ کَفُوۡرٍ ﴿ۚ۳۶﴾
36. As for the disbelievers, they will have the Fire of Hell. They will neither be done away with so that they may die nor shall its punishment be lightened for them. Thus, We retribute every ungrateful person.
والذين كفروا لهم نار جهنم لا يقضى عليهم فيموتوا ولا يخفف عنهم من عذابها كذلك نجزي كل كفور
(فَاطِر، 35 : 36)
وَ ہُمۡ یَصۡطَرِخُوۡنَ فِیۡہَا ۚ رَبَّنَاۤ اَخۡرِجۡنَا نَعۡمَلۡ صَالِحًا غَیۡرَ الَّذِیۡ کُنَّا نَعۡمَلُ ؕ اَوَ لَمۡ نُعَمِّرۡکُمۡ مَّا یَتَذَکَّرُ فِیۡہِ مَنۡ تَذَکَّرَ وَ جَآءَکُمُ النَّذِیۡرُ ؕ فَذُوۡقُوۡا فَمَا لِلظّٰلِمِیۡنَ مِنۡ نَّصِیۡرٍ ﴿٪۳۷﴾
37. And there (in Hell), they shall cry: ‘Our Lord, take us out (from here and send us back). We will act righteously, different from what we used to do (before).’ (They will be told:) ‘Did We not grant you long enough life during which whoever wanted to seek advice might reflect? And (moreover,) the Warner had also come to you. Now taste (the consequence of your deeds). So, the wrongdoers shall have no helpers.
وهم يصطرخون فيها ربنا أخرجنا نعمل صالحا غير الذي كنا نعمل أولم نعمركم ما يتذكر فيه من تذكر وجاءكم النذير فذوقوا فما للظالمين من نصير
(فَاطِر، 35 : 37)
اِنَّ اللّٰہَ عٰلِمُ غَیۡبِ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الۡاَرۡضِ ؕ اِنَّہٗ عَلِیۡمٌۢ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُوۡرِ ﴿۳۸﴾
38. Indeed, Allah is the Knower of the Unseen of the heavens and the earth. He is undoubtedly All-Knowing of the things (hidden) in the breasts.
إن الله عالم غيب السماوات والأرض إنه عليم بذات الصدور
(فَاطِر، 35 : 38)
ہُوَ الَّذِیۡ جَعَلَکُمۡ خَلٰٓئِفَ فِی الۡاَرۡضِ ؕ فَمَنۡ کَفَرَ فَعَلَیۡہِ کُفۡرُہٗ ؕ وَ لَا یَزِیۡدُ الۡکٰفِرِیۡنَ کُفۡرُہُمۡ عِنۡدَ رَبِّہِمۡ اِلَّا مَقۡتًا ۚ وَ لَا یَزِیۡدُ الۡکٰفِرِیۡنَ کُفۡرُہُمۡ اِلَّا خَسَارًا ﴿۳۹﴾
39. He is the One Who made you successors (of the former peoples) on the earth. So, whoever disbelieves is to face the consequences of his disbelief. The denial of the disbelievers increases nothing for them in the sight of their Lord except (His) displeasure. And the denial of the disbelievers adds nothing to them except loss.
هو الذي جعلكم خلائف في الأرض فمن كفر فعليه كفره ولا يزيد الكافرين كفرهم عند ربهم إلا مقتا ولا يزيد الكافرين كفرهم إلا خسارا
(فَاطِر، 35 : 39)
قُلۡ اَرَءَیۡتُمۡ شُرَکَآءَکُمُ الَّذِیۡنَ تَدۡعُوۡنَ مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰہِ ؕ اَرُوۡنِیۡ مَاذَا خَلَقُوۡا مِنَ الۡاَرۡضِ اَمۡ لَہُمۡ شِرۡکٌ فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ ۚ اَمۡ اٰتَیۡنٰہُمۡ کِتٰبًا فَہُمۡ عَلٰی بَیِّنَتٍ مِّنۡہُ ۚ بَلۡ اِنۡ یَّعِدُ الظّٰلِمُوۡنَ بَعۡضُہُمۡ بَعۡضًا اِلَّا غُرُوۡرًا ﴿۴۰﴾
40. Say: ‘Have you considered your partners whom you worship besides Allah? Show me what part of the earth they have created, or do they have any share in the heavens? Have We given them any scripture so that they may rely upon its evidence? Instead, the wrongdoers promise each other nothing but delusion.’
قل أرأيتم شركاءكم الذين تدعون من دون الله أروني ماذا خلقوا من الأرض أم لهم شرك في السماوات أم آتيناهم كتابا فهم على بينة منه بل إن يعد الظالمون بعضهم بعضا إلا غرورا
(فَاطِر، 35 : 40)
اِنَّ اللّٰہَ یُمۡسِکُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الۡاَرۡضَ اَنۡ تَزُوۡلَا ۬ۚ وَ لَئِنۡ زَالَتَاۤ اِنۡ اَمۡسَکَہُمَا مِنۡ اَحَدٍ مِّنۡۢ بَعۡدِہٖ ؕ اِنَّہٗ کَانَ حَلِیۡمًا غَفُوۡرًا ﴿۴۱﴾
41. Allah (alone) sustains the heavens and the earth lest they fall apart. And if they were to fall apart, none could hold them except Him. Indeed, He is All-Forbearing, Most Forgiving.
إن الله يمسك السماوات والأرض أن تزولا ولئن زالتا إن أمسكهما من أحد من بعده إنه كان حليما غفورا
(فَاطِر، 35 : 41)
وَ اَقۡسَمُوۡا بِاللّٰہِ جَہۡدَ اَیۡمَانِہِمۡ لَئِنۡ جَآءَہُمۡ نَذِیۡرٌ لَّیَکُوۡنُنَّ اَہۡدٰی مِنۡ اِحۡدَی الۡاُمَمِ ۚ فَلَمَّا جَآءَہُمۡ نَذِیۡرٌ مَّا زَادَہُمۡ اِلَّا نُفُوۡرَۨا ﴿ۙ۴۲﴾
42. They swore by Allah with their solemn oaths that if a warner were to come to them, they would surely be better guided than any of the nations. Yet when a warner came to them, it increased them in nothing but aversion.
وأقسموا بالله جهد أيمانهم لئن جاءهم نذير ليكونن أهدى من إحدى الأمم فلما جاءهم نذير ما زادهم إلا نفورا
(فَاطِر، 35 : 42)
اسۡتِکۡـبَارًا فِی الۡاَرۡضِ وَ مَکۡرَ السَّیِّیَٴ ؕ وَ لَا یَحِیۡقُ الۡمَکۡرُ السَّیِّیٴُ اِلَّا بِاَہۡلِہٖ ؕ فَہَلۡ یَنۡظُرُوۡنَ اِلَّا سُنَّتَ الۡاَوَّلِیۡنَ ۚ فَلَنۡ تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ اللّٰہِ تَبۡدِیۡلًا ۬ۚ وَ لَنۡ تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ اللّٰہِ تَحۡوِیۡلًا ﴿۴۳﴾
43. (They started) behaving more arrogantly in the land and intensifying (their) evil schemes. But evil plotting rebounds only on those who devise it. So, do they await anything except the earlier people’s precedent (of destruction)? You will never find any change in Allah’s practice nor see any diversion in Allah’s course.
استكبارا في الأرض ومكر السيئ ولا يحيق المكر السيئ إلا بأهله فهل ينظرون إلا سنت الأولين فلن تجد لسنت الله تبديلا ولن تجد لسنت الله تحويلا
(فَاطِر، 35 : 43)
اَوَ لَمۡ یَسِیۡرُوۡا فِی الۡاَرۡضِ فَیَنۡظُرُوۡا کَیۡفَ کَانَ عَاقِبَۃُ الَّذِیۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِہِمۡ وَ کَانُوۡۤا اَشَدَّ مِنۡہُمۡ قُوَّۃً ؕ وَ مَا کَانَ اللّٰہُ لِیُعۡجِزَہٗ مِنۡ شَیۡءٍ فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ لَا فِی الۡاَرۡضِ ؕ اِنَّہٗ کَانَ عَلِیۡمًا قَدِیۡرًا ﴿۴۴﴾
44. Have they not travelled across the earth so they may observe what the end of those (destroyed) before them was? They were far superior to them in might. And Allah is not such that anything in the heavens or the earth could frustrate Him. Indeed, He is All-Knowing, All-Capable.
أولم يسيروا في الأرض فينظروا كيف كان عاقبة الذين من قبلهم وكانوا أشد منهم قوة وما كان الله ليعجزه من شيء في السماوات ولا في الأرض إنه كان عليما قديرا
(فَاطِر، 35 : 44)
وَ لَوۡ یُؤَاخِذُ اللّٰہُ النَّاسَ بِمَا کَسَبُوۡا مَا تَرَکَ عَلٰی ظَہۡرِہَا مِنۡ دَآبَّۃٍ وَّ لٰکِنۡ یُّؤَخِّرُہُمۡ اِلٰۤی اَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّی ۚ فَاِذَا جَآءَ اَجَلُہُمۡ فَاِنَّ اللّٰہَ کَانَ بِعِبَادِہٖ بَصِیۡرًا ﴿٪۴۵﴾
