In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the All-Merciful
اَکَانَ لِلنَّاسِ عَجَبًا اَنۡ اَوۡحَیۡنَاۤ اِلٰی رَجُلٍ مِّنۡہُمۡ اَنۡ اَنۡذِرِ النَّاسَ وَ بَشِّرِ الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡۤا اَنَّ لَہُمۡ قَدَمَ صِدۡقٍ عِنۡدَ رَبِّہِمۡ ؕؔ قَالَ الۡکٰفِرُوۡنَ اِنَّ ہٰذَا لَسٰحِرٌ مُّبِیۡنٌ ﴿۲﴾
2. Is it so astonishing to people that We have sent revelation to a man from among themselves (instructing him): ‘Warn the people and give glad tidings to those who believe that they shall have an honourable station in the presence of their Lord?’ The disbelievers say: ‘This is most surely a clear magician.’
أكان للناس عجبا أن أوحينا إلى رجل منهم أن أنذر الناس وبشر الذين آمنوا أن لهم قدم صدق عند ربهم قال الكافرون إن هـذا لساحر مبين
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 2)
اِنَّ رَبَّکُمُ اللّٰہُ الَّذِیۡ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الۡاَرۡضَ فِیۡ سِتَّۃِ اَیَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسۡتَوٰی عَلَی الۡعَرۡشِ یُدَبِّرُ الۡاَمۡرَ ؕ مَا مِنۡ شَفِیۡعٍ اِلَّا مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ اِذۡنِہٖ ؕ ذٰلِکُمُ اللّٰہُ رَبُّکُمۡ فَاعۡبُدُوۡہُ ؕ اَفَلَا تَذَکَّرُوۡنَ ﴿۳﴾
3. Indeed, your Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth in six periods; then (befitting His Glory), He established His command on the Throne, governing the affair (of the whole universe). There is no intercessor except by His permission. That is Allah, your Lord! So worship Him. Will you not then accept admonition?
إن ربكم الله الذي خلق السماوات والأرض في ستة أيام ثم استوى على العرش يدبر الأمر ما من شفيع إلا من بعد إذنه ذلكم الله ربكم فاعبدوه أفلا تذكرون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 3)
اِلَیۡہِ مَرۡجِعُکُمۡ جَمِیۡعًا ؕ وَعۡدَ اللّٰہِ حَقًّا ؕ اِنَّہٗ یَبۡدَؤُا الۡخَلۡقَ ثُمَّ یُعِیۡدُہٗ لِیَجۡزِیَ الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَ عَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ بِالۡقِسۡطِ ؕ وَ الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا لَہُمۡ شَرَابٌ مِّنۡ حَمِیۡمٍ وَّ عَذَابٌ اَلِیۡمٌۢ بِمَا کَانُوۡا یَکۡفُرُوۡنَ ﴿۴﴾
4. (O people!) To Him will be your return all together. (That is) Allah’s true promise. Indeed, He originates the creation (and) then resurrects it so He may justly reward those who believe and perform righteous deeds. As for the disbelievers, they shall have boiling water to drink and a painful punishment for having disbelieved.
إليه مرجعكم جميعا وعد الله حقا إنه يبدأ الخلق ثم يعيده ليجزي الذين آمنوا وعملوا الصالحات بالقسط والذين كفروا لهم شراب من حميم وعذاب أليم بما كانوا يكفرون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 4)
ہُوَ الَّذِیۡ جَعَلَ الشَّمۡسَ ضِیَآءً وَّ الۡقَمَرَ نُوۡرًا وَّ قَدَّرَہٗ مَنَازِلَ لِتَعۡلَمُوۡا عَدَدَ السِّنِیۡنَ وَ الۡحِسَابَ ؕ مَا خَلَقَ اللّٰہُ ذٰلِکَ اِلَّا بِالۡحَقِّ ۚ یُفَصِّلُ الۡاٰیٰتِ لِقَوۡمٍ یَّعۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿۵﴾
5. He is the One Who made the sun a (source of) radiance and the moon a (means of reflecting) light and determined phases for it (to appear smaller or bigger), that you might compute the number of years and the calculation (of time in months, days and hours). Allah did not create all that but with a (zero-defect) accurate system. He explains the signs in detail for people who possess knowledge.
هو الذي جعل الشمس ضياء والقمر نورا وقدره منازل لتعلموا عدد السنين والحساب ما خلق الله ذلك إلا بالحق يفصل الآيات لقوم يعلمون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 5)
اِنَّ فِی اخۡتِلَافِ الَّیۡلِ وَ النَّہَارِ وَ مَا خَلَقَ اللّٰہُ فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الۡاَرۡضِ لَاٰیٰتٍ لِّقَوۡمٍ یَّتَّقُوۡنَ ﴿۶﴾
6. Indeed, in the alternation of night and day and in what Allah has created in the heavens and the earth, there are signs for a people God-conscious.
إن في اختلاف الليل والنهار وما خلق الله في السماوات والأرض لآيات لقوم يتقون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 6)
اِنَّ الَّذِیۡنَ لَا یَرۡجُوۡنَ لِقَآءَنَا وَ رَضُوۡا بِالۡحَیٰوۃِ الدُّنۡیَا وَ اطۡمَاَنُّوۡا بِہَا وَ الَّذِیۡنَ ہُمۡ عَنۡ اٰیٰتِنَا غٰفِلُوۡنَ ۙ﴿۷﴾
7. Indeed, those who do not expect to meet Us and are content with this worldly life and feel satisfied with it, and who are neglectful of Our signs,
إن الذين لا يرجون لقاءنا ورضوا بالحياة الدنيا واطمأنوا بها والذين هم عن آياتنا غافلون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 7)
اِنَّ الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَ عَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ یَہۡدِیۡہِمۡ رَبُّہُمۡ بِاِیۡمَانِہِمۡ ۚ تَجۡرِیۡ مِنۡ تَحۡتِہِمُ الۡاَنۡہٰرُ فِیۡ جَنّٰتِ النَّعِیۡمِ ﴿۹﴾
9. Indeed, for those who believe and perform righteous deeds, their Lord guides them through their faith. (They shall have) rivers flowing beneath them in Gardens of bliss.
إن الذين آمنوا وعملوا الصالحات يهديهم ربهم بإيمانهم تجري من تحتهم الأنهار في جنات النعيم
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 9)
دَعۡوٰىہُمۡ فِیۡہَا سُبۡحٰنَکَ اللّٰہُمَّ وَ تَحِیَّتُہُمۡ فِیۡہَا سَلٰمٌ ۚ وَ اٰخِرُ دَعۡوٰىہُمۡ اَنِ الۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ ﴿٪۱۰﴾
10. Their supplication therein will be: ‘Glory be to You! O God!’ And their greeting therein (among the people of Paradise) will be: ‘Peace.’ And the conclusion of their supplication will be: ‘All praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of all worlds.’
دعواهم فيها سبحانك اللهم وتحيتهم فيها سلام وآخر دعواهم أن الحمد لله رب العالمين
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 10)
وَ لَوۡ یُعَجِّلُ اللّٰہُ لِلنَّاسِ الشَّرَّ اسۡتِعۡجَالَہُمۡ بِالۡخَیۡرِ لَقُضِیَ اِلَیۡہِمۡ اَجَلُہُمۡ ؕ فَنَذَرُ الَّذِیۡنَ لَا یَرۡجُوۡنَ لِقَآءَنَا فِیۡ طُغۡیَانِہِمۡ یَعۡمَہُوۡنَ ﴿۱۱﴾
11. And if Allah were to hasten harm for the (disbelieving) people, as they desire to hasten the good (of this world), then, certainly, their term (of life) would have been over. But We leave those who do not expect to meet Us to wander confused in their rebellion.
ولو يعجل الله للناس الشر استعجالهم بالخير لقضي إليهم أجلهم فنذر الذين لا يرجون لقاءنا في طغيانهم يعمهون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 11)
وَ اِذَا مَسَّ الۡاِنۡسَانَ الضُّرُّ دَعَانَا لِجَنۡۢبِہٖۤ اَوۡ قَاعِدًا اَوۡ قَآئِمًا ۚ فَلَمَّا کَشَفۡنَا عَنۡہُ ضُرَّہٗ مَرَّ کَاَنۡ لَّمۡ یَدۡعُنَاۤ اِلٰی ضُرٍّ مَّسَّہٗ ؕ کَذٰلِکَ زُیِّنَ لِلۡمُسۡرِفِیۡنَ مَا کَانُوۡا یَعۡمَلُوۡنَ ﴿۱۲﴾
12. And when trouble afflicts human being, he calls upon Us (lying) on his side or sitting or standing. But as soon as We relieve him of his trouble, he goes on his way as if he had never called upon Us regarding the distress that had befallen him. Thus, the misdeeds that the transgressors used to commit were made attractive to them.
وإذا مس الإنسان الضر دعانا لجنبه أو قاعدا أو قآئما فلما كشفنا عنه ضره مر كأن لم يدعنا إلى ضر مسه كذلك زين للمسرفين ما كانوا يعملون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 12)
وَ لَقَدۡ اَہۡلَکۡنَا الۡقُرُوۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِکُمۡ لَمَّا ظَلَمُوۡا ۙ وَ جَآءَتۡہُمۡ رُسُلُہُمۡ بِالۡبَیِّنٰتِ وَ مَا کَانُوۡا لِیُؤۡمِنُوۡا ؕ کَذٰلِکَ نَجۡزِی الۡقَوۡمَ الۡمُجۡرِمِیۡنَ ﴿۱۳﴾
13. And We have indeed destroyed (several) generations before you when they committed wrongs, and their messengers came to them with clear proofs, but they would not believe. Thus, do We recompense the guilty people.
ولقد أهلكنا القرون من قبلكم لما ظلموا وجاءتهم رسلهم بالبينات وما كانوا ليؤمنوا كذلك نجزي القوم المجرمين
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 13)
وَ اِذَا تُتۡلٰی عَلَیۡہِمۡ اٰیَاتُنَا بَیِّنٰتٍ ۙ قَالَ الَّذِیۡنَ لَا یَرۡجُوۡنَ لِقَآءَنَا ائۡتِ بِقُرۡاٰنٍ غَیۡرِ ہٰذَاۤ اَوۡ بَدِّلۡہُ ؕ قُلۡ مَا یَکُوۡنُ لِیۡۤ اَنۡ اُبَدِّلَہٗ مِنۡ تِلۡقَآیِٔ نَفۡسِیۡ ۚ اِنۡ اَتَّبِعُ اِلَّا مَا یُوۡحٰۤی اِلَیَّ ۚ اِنِّیۡۤ اَخَافُ اِنۡ عَصَیۡتُ رَبِّیۡ عَذَابَ یَوۡمٍ عَظِیۡمٍ ﴿۱۵﴾
15. When Our manifest verses are recited to them, those who do not expect to meet Us say: ‘Bring a Qur’an other than this or alter it.’ (O Prophet,) say: ‘I have no right to alter it of my own accord. I only follow what is revealed to me. Indeed, should I disobey my Lord, I fear the torment of a great day.’
وإذا تتلى عليهم آياتنا بينات قال الذين لا يرجون لقاءنا ائت بقرآن غير هـذا أو بدله قل ما يكون لي أن أبدله من تلقاء نفسي إن أتبع إلا ما يوحى إلي إني أخاف إن عصيت ربي عذاب يوم عظيم
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 15)
قُلۡ لَّوۡ شَآءَ اللّٰہُ مَا تَلَوۡتُہٗ عَلَیۡکُمۡ وَ لَاۤ اَدۡرٰىکُمۡ بِہٖ ۫ۖ فَقَدۡ لَبِثۡتُ فِیۡکُمۡ عُمُرًا مِّنۡ قَبۡلِہٖ ؕ اَفَلَا تَعۡقِلُوۡنَ ﴿۱۶﴾
16. Say: ‘If Allah had willed (otherwise), I would not have recited it to you, nor would He have made it known to you. Indeed, I have lived a lifetime among you before it. Do you not then understand?’
قل لو شاء الله ما تلوته عليكم ولا أدراكم به فقد لبثت فيكم عمرا من قبله أفلا تعقلون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 16)
فَمَنۡ اَظۡلَمُ مِمَّنِ افۡتَرٰی عَلَی اللّٰہِ کَذِبًا اَوۡ کَذَّبَ بِاٰیٰتِہٖ ؕ اِنَّہٗ لَا یُفۡلِحُ الۡمُجۡرِمُوۡنَ ﴿۱۷﴾
17. And who is more unjust than he who fabricates a lie against Allah or denies His revelations? Indeed, the guilty will not prosper.
فمن أظلم ممن افترى على الله كذبا أو كذب بآياته إنه لا يفلح المجرمون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 17)
وَ یَعۡبُدُوۡنَ مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰہِ مَا لَا یَضُرُّہُمۡ وَ لَا یَنۡفَعُہُمۡ وَ یَقُوۡلُوۡنَ ہٰۤؤُلَآءِ شُفَعَآؤُنَا عِنۡدَ اللّٰہِ ؕ قُلۡ اَتُنَبِّـُٔوۡنَ اللّٰہَ بِمَا لَا یَعۡلَمُ فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ لَا فِی الۡاَرۡضِ ؕ سُبۡحٰنَہٗ وَ تَعٰلٰی عَمَّا یُشۡرِکُوۡنَ ﴿۱۸﴾
18. They worship those (idols) besides Allah which can neither harm them nor benefit them, and (in justification of their false worship) say: ‘These are our intercessors with Allah.’ Say: ‘Do you (presume to) inform Allah about something He does not know in the heavens or on the earth (i.e. intercession with Him by any idol)? Glory be to Him, and He is exalted above (having) any partners they ascribe.’
ويعبدون من دون الله ما لا يضرهم ولا ينفعهم ويقولون هـؤلاء شفعاؤنا عند الله قل أتنبئون الله بما لا يعلم في السماوات ولا في الأرض سبحانه وتعالى عما يشركون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 18)
وَ مَا کَانَ النَّاسُ اِلَّاۤ اُمَّۃً وَّاحِدَۃً فَاخۡتَلَفُوۡا ؕ وَ لَوۡ لَا کَلِمَۃٌ سَبَقَتۡ مِنۡ رَّبِّکَ لَقُضِیَ بَیۡنَہُمۡ فِیۡمَا فِیۡہِ یَخۡتَلِفُوۡنَ ﴿۱۹﴾
19. All people were originally one community (of believers), but then they differed. If it had not been for a word decreed by your Lord, the judgement would have already passed between them concerning that wherein they differed.
وما كان الناس إلا أمة واحدة فاختلفوا ولولا كلمة سبقت من ربك لقضي بينهم فيما فيه يختلفون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 19)
وَ یَقُوۡلُوۡنَ لَوۡ لَاۤ اُنۡزِلَ عَلَیۡہِ اٰیَۃٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّہٖ ۚ فَقُلۡ اِنَّمَا الۡغَیۡبُ لِلّٰہِ فَانۡتَظِرُوۡا ۚ اِنِّیۡ مَعَکُمۡ مِّنَ الۡمُنۡتَظِرِیۡنَ ﴿٪۲۰﴾
20. They say: ‘Why has no (miraculous) sign been sent down to him from his Lord?’ Say: ‘(The knowledge of) the Unseen belongs to Allah alone. So wait. Surely, I am (also) waiting along with you.’
ويقولون لولا أنزل عليه آية من ربه فقل إنما الغيب لله فانتظروا إني معكم من المنتظرين
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 20)
وَ اِذَاۤ اَذَقۡنَا النَّاسَ رَحۡمَۃً مِّنۡۢ بَعۡدِ ضَرَّآءَ مَسَّتۡہُمۡ اِذَا لَہُمۡ مَّکۡرٌ فِیۡۤ اٰیَاتِنَا ؕ قُلِ اللّٰہُ اَسۡرَعُ مَکۡرًا ؕ اِنَّ رُسُلَنَا یَکۡتُبُوۡنَ مَا تَمۡکُرُوۡنَ ﴿۲۱﴾
21. When We let people taste (Our) mercy after some hardship has afflicted them, they devise schemes against Our revelations! Say: ‘Allah plans even faster.’ Indeed, Our (angel) messengers write down whatever you plot.
وإذا أذقنا الناس رحمة من بعد ضراء مستهم إذا لهم مكر في آياتنا قل الله أسرع مكرا إن رسلنا يكتبون ما تمكرون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 21)
ہُوَ الَّذِیۡ یُسَیِّرُکُمۡ فِی الۡبَرِّ وَ الۡبَحۡرِ ؕ حَتّٰۤی اِذَا کُنۡتُمۡ فِی الۡفُلۡکِ ۚ وَ جَرَیۡنَ بِہِمۡ بِرِیۡحٍ طَیِّبَۃٍ وَّ فَرِحُوۡا بِہَا جَآءَتۡہَا رِیۡحٌ عَاصِفٌ وَّ جَآءَہُمُ الۡمَوۡجُ مِنۡ کُلِّ مَکَانٍ وَّ ظَنُّوۡۤا اَنَّہُمۡ اُحِیۡطَ بِہِمۡ ۙ دَعَوُا اللّٰہَ مُخۡلِصِیۡنَ لَہُ الدِّیۡنَ ۬ۚ لَئِنۡ اَنۡجَیۡتَنَا مِنۡ ہٰذِہٖ لَنَکُوۡنَنَّ مِنَ الشّٰکِرِیۡنَ ﴿۲۲﴾
22. He is the One Who carries you over land and sea. When you are in ships, and they are sailing with passengers with a pleasant wind, rejoicing therein, suddenly a wave overtakes them from every side, and they feel that they are being besieged. (In this situation,) they invoke Allah, being sincere to Him in devotion, (saying:) ‘If you deliver us from this (calamity), we will most certainly be among the grateful.’
هو الذي يسيركم في البر والبحر حتى إذا كنتم في الفلك وجرين بهم بريح طيبة وفرحوا بها جاءتها ريح عاصف وجاءهم الموج من كل مكان وظنوا أنهم أحيط بهم دعوا الله مخلصين له الدين لئن أنجيتنا من هـذه لنكونن من الشاكرين
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 22)
فَلَمَّاۤ اَنۡجٰہُمۡ اِذَا ہُمۡ یَبۡغُوۡنَ فِی الۡاَرۡضِ بِغَیۡرِ الۡحَقِّ ؕ یٰۤاَیُّہَا النَّاسُ اِنَّمَا بَغۡیُکُمۡ عَلٰۤی اَنۡفُسِکُمۡ ۙ مَّتَاعَ الۡحَیٰوۃِ الدُّنۡیَا ۫ ثُمَّ اِلَیۡنَا مَرۡجِعُکُمۡ فَنُنَبِّئُکُمۡ بِمَا کُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ ﴿۲۳﴾
23. But when He delivers them, behold, they (again) become unjustly rebellious on the earth. O people! Your rebellion is only to your detriment. (This is only) a brief enjoyment of this worldly life. Then to Us will be your return, and We shall inform you of what you used to do.
فلما أنجاهم إذا هم يبغون في الأرض بغير الحق يا أيها الناس إنما بغيكم على أنفسكم متاع الحياة الدنيا ثم إلينا مرجعكم فننبئكم بما كنتم تعملون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 23)
اِنَّمَا مَثَلُ الۡحَیٰوۃِ الدُّنۡیَا کَمَآءٍ اَنۡزَلۡنٰہُ مِنَ السَّمَآءِ فَاخۡتَلَطَ بِہٖ نَبَاتُ الۡاَرۡضِ مِمَّا یَاۡکُلُ النَّاسُ وَ الۡاَنۡعَامُ ؕ حَتّٰۤی اِذَاۤ اَخَذَتِ الۡاَرۡضُ زُخۡرُفَہَا وَ ازَّیَّنَتۡ وَ ظَنَّ اَہۡلُہَاۤ اَنَّہُمۡ قٰدِرُوۡنَ عَلَیۡہَاۤ ۙ اَتٰہَاۤ اَمۡرُنَا لَیۡلًا اَوۡ نَہَارًا فَجَعَلۡنٰہَا حَصِیۡدًا کَاَنۡ لَّمۡ تَغۡنَ بِالۡاَمۡسِ ؕ کَذٰلِکَ نُفَصِّلُ الۡاٰیٰتِ لِقَوۡمٍ یَّتَفَکَّرُوۡنَ ﴿۲۴﴾
24. The example of this worldly life is that of water, which We send down from the sky. Then, it mingles with the earth’s vegetation from which humans and cattle eat. But when the earth adopts its finest appearance and is adorned, and its inhabitants think they have full control over it, (suddenly) Our command comes upon it by night or by day. So, We turn it into stubble as if it did not flourish the day before. Thus, We explain the signs for a people who reflect.
إنما مثل الحياة الدنيا كماء أنزلناه من السماء فاختلط به نبات الأرض مما يأكل الناس والأنعام حتى إذا أخذت الأرض زخرفها وازينت وظن أهلها أنهم قادرون عليهآ أتاها أمرنا ليلا أو نهارا فجعلناها حصيدا كأن لم تغن بالأمس كذلك نفصل الآيات لقوم يتفكرون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 24)
لِلَّذِیۡنَ اَحۡسَنُوا الۡحُسۡنٰی وَ زِیَادَۃٌ ؕ وَ لَا یَرۡہَقُ وُجُوۡہَہُمۡ قَتَرٌ وَّ لَا ذِلَّۃٌ ؕ اُولٰٓئِکَ اَصۡحٰبُ الۡجَنَّۃِ ۚ ہُمۡ فِیۡہَا خٰلِدُوۡنَ ﴿۲۶﴾
26. Those who perform virtuous deeds excellently shall have the most beautiful reward and much more. Neither darkness nor disgrace shall come over their faces. They shall be the residents of Paradise, and they shall abide in it forever.
للذين أحسنوا الحسنى وزيادة ولا يرهق وجوههم قتر ولا ذلة أولـئك أصحاب الجنة هم فيها خالدون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 26)
وَ الَّذِیۡنَ کَسَبُوا السَّیِّاٰتِ جَزَآءُ سَیِّئَۃٍۭ بِمِثۡلِہَا ۙ وَ تَرۡہَقُہُمۡ ذِلَّۃٌ ؕ مَا لَہُمۡ مِّنَ اللّٰہِ مِنۡ عَاصِمٍ ۚ کَاَنَّمَاۤ اُغۡشِیَتۡ وُجُوۡہُہُمۡ قِطَعًا مِّنَ الَّیۡلِ مُظۡلِمًا ؕ اُولٰٓئِکَ اَصۡحٰبُ النَّارِ ۚ ہُمۡ فِیۡہَا خٰلِدُوۡنَ ﴿۲۷﴾
27. As for those who commit evil deeds, the recompense of an evil deed shall be equal to it. And humiliation shall overcome them. There will be none to protect them from Allah. (It will be) as if their faces are covered with dark patches of the night. These are the inmates of the Fire, and they shall remain in it forever.
والذين كسبوا السيئات جزاء سيئة بمثلها وترهقهم ذلة ما لهم من الله من عاصم كأنما أغشيت وجوههم قطعا من الليل مظلما أولـئك أصحاب النار هم فيها خالدون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 27)
وَ یَوۡمَ نَحۡشُرُہُمۡ جَمِیۡعًا ثُمَّ نَقُوۡلُ لِلَّذِیۡنَ اَشۡرَکُوۡا مَکَانَکُمۡ اَنۡتُمۡ وَ شُرَکَآؤُکُمۡ ۚ فَزَیَّلۡنَا بَیۡنَہُمۡ وَ قَالَ شُرَکَآؤُہُمۡ مَّا کُنۡتُمۡ اِیَّانَا تَعۡبُدُوۡنَ ﴿۲۸﴾
28. On the Day We assemble them all together, We shall say to those who ascribe partners (to Allah): ‘Stay in your place—you and your partner-gods.’ Then We shall separate them widely from one another, and their partner-gods will say: ‘It was not us whom you worshipped.
ويوم نحشرهم جميعا ثم نقول للذين أشركوا مكانكم أنتم وشركآؤكم فزيلنا بينهم وقال شركآؤهم ما كنتم إيانا تعبدون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 28)
ہُنَالِکَ تَبۡلُوۡا کُلُّ نَفۡسٍ مَّاۤ اَسۡلَفَتۡ وَ رُدُّوۡۤا اِلَی اللّٰہِ مَوۡلٰىہُمُ الۡحَقِّ وَ ضَلَّ عَنۡہُمۡ مَّا کَانُوۡا یَفۡتَرُوۡنَ ﴿٪۳۰﴾
30. There and then, every soul shall examine what it did in the past, and they will be returned to Allah, their True Master, and what they used to fabricate will forsake them.
هنالك تبلو كل نفس ما أسلفت وردوا إلى الله مولاهم الحق وضل عنهم ما كانوا يفترون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 30)
قُلۡ مَنۡ یَّرۡزُقُکُمۡ مِّنَ السَّمَآءِ وَ الۡاَرۡضِ اَمَّنۡ یَّمۡلِکُ السَّمۡعَ وَ الۡاَبۡصَارَ وَ مَنۡ یُّخۡرِجُ الۡحَیَّ مِنَ الۡمَیِّتِ وَ یُخۡرِجُ الۡمَیِّتَ مِنَ الۡحَیِّ وَ مَنۡ یُّدَبِّرُ الۡاَمۡرَ ؕ فَسَیَقُوۡلُوۡنَ اللّٰہُ ۚ فَقُلۡ اَفَلَا تَتَّقُوۡنَ ﴿۳۱﴾
31. Say (to them): ‘Who provides you with sustenance from the heaven and the earth? Or Who controls (your) hearing and sight? And Who brings forth the living from the dead (i.e. animate from inanimate) and brings forth the dead from the living (i.e. inanimate from animate); and Who governs the affairs?’ They will say: ‘Allah.’ Say: ‘Will you not then become conscious (of Him)?’
قل من يرزقكم من السماء والأرض أمن يملك السمع والأبصار ومن يخرج الحي من الميت ويخرج الميت من الحي ومن يدبر الأمر فسيقولون الله فقل أفلا تتقون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 31)
فَذٰلِکُمُ اللّٰہُ رَبُّکُمُ الۡحَقُّ ۚ فَمَا ذَا بَعۡدَ الۡحَقِّ اِلَّا الضَّلٰلُ ۚۖ فَاَنّٰی تُصۡرَفُوۡنَ ﴿۳۲﴾
32. That is Allah, your True Lord. So what is there after the truth except error? Then, where are you being led away?
فذلكم الله ربكم الحق فماذا بعد الحق إلا الضلال فأنى تصرفون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 32)
قُلۡ ہَلۡ مِنۡ شُرَکَآئِکُمۡ مَّنۡ یَّبۡدَؤُا الۡخَلۡقَ ثُمَّ یُعِیۡدُہٗ ؕ قُلِ اللّٰہُ یَبۡدَؤُا الۡخَلۡقَ ثُمَّ یُعِیۡدُہٗ فَاَنّٰی تُؤۡفَکُوۡنَ ﴿۳۴﴾
34. Say: ‘Is there anyone among your partner-gods who can originate the creation and resurrect it (after being dead)?’ Say: ‘Allah originates the creation, then He will bring it back to life. How are you then turned away?’
قل هل من شركآئكم من يبدأ الخلق ثم يعيده قل الله يبدأ الخلق ثم يعيده فأنى تؤفكون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 34)
قُلۡ ہَلۡ مِنۡ شُرَکَآئِکُمۡ مَّنۡ یَّہۡدِیۡۤ اِلَی الۡحَقِّ ؕ قُلِ اللّٰہُ یَہۡدِیۡ لِلۡحَقِّ ؕ اَفَمَنۡ یَّہۡدِیۡۤ اِلَی الۡحَقِّ اَحَقُّ اَنۡ یُّتَّبَعَ اَمَّنۡ لَّا یَہِدِّیۡۤ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡ یُّہۡدٰی ۚ فَمَا لَکُمۡ ۟ کَیۡفَ تَحۡکُمُوۡنَ ﴿۳۵﴾
35. Say: ‘Is there anyone among your partner-gods who may guide (you) to the truth?’ Say: ‘Allah guides to the truth. Is One who guides to the truth more worthy of being followed, or one who cannot guide unless he is (himself) guided? What is the matter with you? How do you judge?’
قل هل من شركآئكم من يهدي إلى الحق قل الله يهدي للحق أفمن يهدي إلى الحق أحق أن يتبع أمن لا يهدي إلا أن يهدى فما لكم كيف تحكمون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 35)
وَ مَا یَتَّبِعُ اَکۡثَرُہُمۡ اِلَّا ظَنًّا ؕ اِنَّ الظَّنَّ لَا یُغۡنِیۡ مِنَ الۡحَقِّ شَیۡئًا ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ عَلِیۡمٌۢ بِمَا یَفۡعَلُوۡنَ ﴿۳۶﴾
36. Most of them follow nothing but assumptions. Indeed, assumption is no substitute for the truth. Certainly, Allah is All-Knowing of what you do.
وما يتبع أكثرهم إلا ظنا إن الظن لا يغني من الحق شيئا إن الله عليم بما يفعلون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 36)
وَ مَا کَانَ ہٰذَا الۡقُرۡاٰنُ اَنۡ یُّفۡتَرٰی مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰہِ وَ لٰکِنۡ تَصۡدِیۡقَ الَّذِیۡ بَیۡنَ یَدَیۡہِ وَ تَفۡصِیۡلَ الۡکِتٰبِ لَا رَیۡبَ فِیۡہِ مِنۡ رَّبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ ﴿۟۳۷﴾
37. And this Qur’an is not such as could be fabricated by anyone besides Allah; instead, it is a confirmation of what was (revealed) before it and an elaboration of the Book (i.e. the Torah and other Scriptures). There is no doubt in it (that it is) from the Lord of all worlds.
وما كان هـذا القرآن أن يفترى من دون الله ولـكن تصديق الذي بين يديه وتفصيل الكتاب لا ريب فيه من رب العالمين
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 37)
اَمۡ یَقُوۡلُوۡنَ افۡتَرٰىہُ ؕ قُلۡ فَاۡتُوۡا بِسُوۡرَۃٍ مِّثۡلِہٖ وَ ادۡعُوۡا مَنِ اسۡتَطَعۡتُمۡ مِّنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰہِ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ صٰدِقِیۡنَ ﴿۳۸﴾
38. Do they say: ‘He has fabricated it?’ Say: ‘Then produce one chapter like it, and invoke whomever you can besides Allah, if you are truthful.’
أم يقولون افتراه قل فأتوا بسورة مثله وادعوا من استطعتم من دون الله إن كنتم صادقين
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 38)
بَلۡ کَذَّبُوۡا بِمَا لَمۡ یُحِیۡطُوۡا بِعِلۡمِہٖ وَ لَمَّا یَاۡتِہِمۡ تَاۡوِیۡلُہٗ ؕ کَذٰلِکَ کَذَّبَ الَّذِیۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِہِمۡ فَانۡظُرۡ کَیۡفَ کَانَ عَاقِبَۃُ الظّٰلِمِیۡنَ ﴿۳۹﴾
39. Instead, they deny that knowledge (revealed by Allah), which they cannot comprehend, and the fulfilment of whose (warning) has not yet come to them. In the same way, those before them rejected (the truth). So observe how was the end of the wrongdoers!
بل كذبوا بما لم يحيطوا بعلمه ولما يأتهم تأويله كذلك كذب الذين من قبلهم فانظر كيف كان عاقبة الظالمين
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 39)
وَ مِنۡہُمۡ مَّنۡ یُّؤۡمِنُ بِہٖ وَ مِنۡہُمۡ مَّنۡ لَّا یُؤۡمِنُ بِہٖ ؕ وَ رَبُّکَ اَعۡلَمُ بِالۡمُفۡسِدِیۡنَ ﴿٪۴۰﴾
40. There are some among them who believe in it, and some among them do not believe in it. And your Lord knows best the corruptors.
ومنهم من يؤمن به ومنهم من لا يؤمن به وربك أعلم بالمفسدين
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 40)
وَ اِنۡ کَذَّبُوۡکَ فَقُلۡ لِّیۡ عَمَلِیۡ وَ لَکُمۡ عَمَلُکُمۡ ۚ اَنۡتُمۡ بَرِیۡٓـــُٔوۡنَ مِمَّاۤ اَعۡمَلُ وَ اَنَا بَرِیۡٓءٌ مِّمَّا تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ ﴿۴۱﴾
41. If they deny you (O Prophet), say: ‘My deeds belong to me, and your deeds belong to you. You are absolved of what I do, and I am absolved of what you do.’
وإن كذبوك فقل لي عملي ولكم عملكم أنتم بريئون مما أعمل وأنا بريء مما تعملون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 41)
وَ مِنۡہُمۡ مَّنۡ یَّسۡتَمِعُوۡنَ اِلَیۡکَ ؕ اَفَاَنۡتَ تُسۡمِعُ الصُّمَّ وَ لَوۡ کَانُوۡا لَا یَعۡقِلُوۡنَ ﴿۴۲﴾
42. Among them are those who are (seen) listening to you. But can you make deaf people hear even if they do not understand?
ومنهم من يستمعون إليك أفأنت تسمع الصم ولو كانوا لا يعقلون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 42)
وَ یَوۡمَ یَحۡشُرُہُمۡ کَاَنۡ لَّمۡ یَلۡبَثُوۡۤا اِلَّا سَاعَۃً مِّنَ النَّہَارِ یَتَعَارَفُوۡنَ بَیۡنَہُمۡ ؕ قَدۡ خَسِرَ الَّذِیۡنَ کَذَّبُوۡا بِلِقَآءِ اللّٰہِ وَ مَا کَانُوۡا مُہۡتَدِیۡنَ ﴿۴۵﴾
45. On the Day when He will gather them, (it will be) as if they had stayed (in the world) no longer than a single hour of a day, getting to recognise one another. Lost indeed will be the ones who deny the meeting with Allah and are not (rightly) guided.
ويوم يحشرهم كأن لم يلبثوا إلا ساعة من النهار يتعارفون بينهم قد خسر الذين كذبوا بلقاء الله وما كانوا مهتدين
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 45)
وَ اِمَّا نُرِیَنَّکَ بَعۡضَ الَّذِیۡ نَعِدُہُمۡ اَوۡ نَتَوَفَّیَنَّکَ فَاِلَیۡنَا مَرۡجِعُہُمۡ ثُمَّ اللّٰہُ شَہِیۡدٌ عَلٰی مَا یَفۡعَلُوۡنَ ﴿۴۶﴾
46. Whether We show you a part (of the punishment) We have threatened them with, or We cause you to die (before that), yet their return shall be to Us. Then Allah (Himself) will be witness to what they do.
وإما نرينك بعض الذي نعدهم أو نتوفينك فإلينا مرجعهم ثم الله شهيد على ما يفعلون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 46)
وَ لِکُلِّ اُمَّۃٍ رَّسُوۡلٌ ۚ فَاِذَا جَآءَ رَسُوۡلُہُمۡ قُضِیَ بَیۡنَہُمۡ بِالۡقِسۡطِ وَ ہُمۡ لَا یُظۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿۴۷﴾
47. For every community, there is a messenger. After their messenger has come, judgement is passed between them in all fairness. And (similarly) they shall not be wronged (in the Hereafter).
ولكل أمة رسول فإذا جاء رسولهم قضي بينهم بالقسط وهم لا يظلمون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 47)
قُلۡ لَّاۤ اَمۡلِکُ لِنَفۡسِیۡ ضَرًّا وَّ لَا نَفۡعًا اِلَّا مَا شَآءَ اللّٰہُ ؕ لِکُلِّ اُمَّۃٍ اَجَلٌ ؕ اِذَا جَآءَ اَجَلُہُمۡ فَلَا یَسۡتَاۡخِرُوۡنَ سَاعَۃً وَّ لَا یَسۡتَقۡدِمُوۡنَ ﴿۴۹﴾
49. Say: ‘I do not own for myself (protection from) any harm, nor any benefit, except what Allah intends. There is an appointed term for every community. When their term arrives, they can not delay it by a moment, nor can they advance it.’*
* This verse refers to a specific time given to every community to reform itself. When that time ends, and the community does not accept the truth and reform itself, and instead, it continues in its rebellion and transgression, it is then bound to perish or suffer from the calamities decreed by the Lord.
قل لا أملك لنفسي ضرا ولا نفعا إلا ما شاء الله لكل أمة أجل إذا جاء أجلهم فلا يستأخرون ساعة ولا يستقدمون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 49)
قُلۡ اَرَءَیۡتُمۡ اِنۡ اَتٰىکُمۡ عَذَابُہٗ بَیَاتًا اَوۡ نَہَارًا مَّاذَا یَسۡتَعۡجِلُ مِنۡہُ الۡمُجۡرِمُوۡنَ ﴿۵۰﴾
50. Say: ‘(O disbelievers,) have you considered, if His punishment overtakes you by night or by day, what part of it the wicked would seek to hasten?’
قل أرأيتم إن أتاكم عذابه بياتا أو نهارا ماذا يستعجل منه المجرمون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 50)
ثُمَّ قِیۡلَ لِلَّذِیۡنَ ظَلَمُوۡا ذُوۡقُوۡا عَذَابَ الۡخُلۡدِ ۚ ہَلۡ تُجۡزَوۡنَ اِلَّا بِمَا کُنۡتُمۡ تَکۡسِبُوۡنَ ﴿۵۲﴾
52. Then the wrongdoers will be told: ‘Taste the punishment of eternity. Should you be recompensed except for what you used to earn?’
ثم قيل للذين ظلموا ذوقوا عذاب الخلد هل تجزون إلا بما كنتم تكسبون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 52)
وَ لَوۡ اَنَّ لِکُلِّ نَفۡسٍ ظَلَمَتۡ مَا فِی الۡاَرۡضِ لَافۡتَدَتۡ بِہٖ ؕ وَ اَسَرُّوا النَّدَامَۃَ لَمَّا رَاَوُا الۡعَذَابَ ۚ وَ قُضِیَ بَیۡنَہُمۡ بِالۡقِسۡطِ وَ ہُمۡ لَا یُظۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿۵۴﴾
54. If every soul that has committed wrong (were to possess) whatever is on the earth, it would surely seek to ransom itself. They will hide their regret when they see the punishment, and the judgement shall be rendered between them with justice, and they will not be wronged.
ولو أن لكل نفس ظلمت ما في الأرض لافتدت به وأسروا الندامة لما رأوا العذاب وقضي بينهم بالقسط وهم لا يظلمون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 54)
اَلَاۤ اِنَّ لِلّٰہِ مَا فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الۡاَرۡضِ ؕ اَلَاۤ اِنَّ وَعۡدَ اللّٰہِ حَقٌّ وَّ لٰکِنَّ اَکۡثَرَہُمۡ لَا یَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿۵۵﴾
55. Surely, to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. Verily Allah’s promise is true, but most of them do not know.
ألا إن لله ما في السماوات والأرض ألا إن وعد الله حق ولـكن أكثرهم لا يعلمون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 55)
یٰۤاَیُّہَا النَّاسُ قَدۡ جَآءَتۡکُمۡ مَّوۡعِظَۃٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّکُمۡ وَ شِفَآءٌ لِّمَا فِی الصُّدُوۡرِ ۬ۙ وَ ہُدًی وَّ رَحۡمَۃٌ لِّلۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ ﴿۵۷﴾
57. O people! Indeed, there has come to you an admonition from your Lord, a cure for what is in the breasts, and guidance and mercy for the believers.
يا أيها الناس قد جاءتكم موعظة من ربكم وشفاء لما في الصدور وهدى ورحمة للمؤمنين
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 57)
قُلۡ بِفَضۡلِ اللّٰہِ وَ بِرَحۡمَتِہٖ فَبِذٰلِکَ فَلۡیَفۡرَحُوۡا ؕ ہُوَ خَیۡرٌ مِّمَّا یَجۡمَعُوۡنَ ﴿۵۸﴾
58. Say: ‘For the grace of Allah and His mercy—they (i.e. the believers) should rejoice in that! That is far better than whatever they accumulate.’
قل بفضل الله وبرحمته فبذلك فليفرحوا هو خير مما يجمعون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 58)
قُلۡ اَرَءَیۡتُمۡ مَّاۤ اَنۡزَلَ اللّٰہُ لَکُمۡ مِّنۡ رِّزۡقٍ فَجَعَلۡتُمۡ مِّنۡہُ حَرَامًا وَّ حَلٰلًا ؕ قُلۡ آٰللّٰہُ اَذِنَ لَکُمۡ اَمۡ عَلَی اللّٰہِ تَفۡتَرُوۡنَ ﴿۵۹﴾
59. Say (to the pagans): ‘Have you considered what Allah has sent down for you of (His) provision? Then you made some of it unlawful and some lawful.’ Say: ‘Has Allah authorised you (to do so), or are you fabricating a lie against Allah?’
قل أرأيتم ما أنزل الله لكم من رزق فجعلتم منه حراما وحلالا قل آلله أذن لكم أم على الله تفترون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 59)
وَ مَا ظَنُّ الَّذِیۡنَ یَفۡتَرُوۡنَ عَلَی اللّٰہِ الۡکَذِبَ یَوۡمَ الۡقِیٰمَۃِ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ لَذُوۡ فَضۡلٍ عَلَی النَّاسِ وَ لٰکِنَّ اَکۡثَرَہُمۡ لَا یَشۡکُرُوۡنَ ﴿٪۶۰﴾
60. What will those who fabricate lies against Allah think on the Day of Resurrection? Indeed, Allah is the Lord of Grace towards humankind, but most of them do not give thanks.
وما ظن الذين يفترون على الله الكذب يوم القيامة إن الله لذو فضل على الناس ولـكن أكثرهم لا يشكرون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 60)
وَ مَا تَکُوۡنُ فِیۡ شَاۡنٍ وَّ مَا تَتۡلُوۡا مِنۡہُ مِنۡ قُرۡاٰنٍ وَّ لَا تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ مِنۡ عَمَلٍ اِلَّا کُنَّا عَلَیۡکُمۡ شُہُوۡدًا اِذۡ تُفِیۡضُوۡنَ فِیۡہِ ؕ وَ مَا یَعۡزُبُ عَنۡ رَّبِّکَ مِنۡ مِّثۡقَالِ ذَرَّۃٍ فِی الۡاَرۡضِ وَ لَا فِی السَّمَآءِ وَ لَاۤ اَصۡغَرَ مِنۡ ذٰلِکَ وَ لَاۤ اَکۡبَرَ اِلَّا فِیۡ کِتٰبٍ مُّبِیۡنٍ ﴿۶۱﴾
61. There is no matter which you are engaged in, or whatever part of the Qur’an you recite, or whatever deed you may perform, but We are witness over you (in every act) while you are doing it. Not an atom’s weight escapes your Lord, on the earth or in the heaven, nor (is there) anything smaller than that nor bigger, but it is (written) in a Manifest Book.
وما تكون في شأن وما تتلو منه من قرآن ولا تعملون من عمل إلا كنا عليكم شهودا إذ تفيضون فيه وما يعزب عن ربك من مثقال ذرة في الأرض ولا في السماء ولا أصغر من ذلك ولا أكبر إلا في كتاب مبين
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 61)
لَہُمُ الۡبُشۡرٰی فِی الۡحَیٰوۃِ الدُّنۡیَا وَ فِی الۡاٰخِرَۃِ ؕ لَا تَبۡدِیۡلَ لِکَلِمٰتِ اللّٰہِ ؕ ذٰلِکَ ہُوَ الۡفَوۡزُ الۡعَظِیۡمُ ﴿ؕ۶۴﴾
64. There are glad tidings for them in this worldly life and the Hereafter. There is no change to the Words of Allah. That is the supreme success.
لهم البشرى في الحياة الدنيا وفي الآخرة لا تبديل لكلمات الله ذلك هو الفوز العظيم
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 64)
وَ لَا یَحۡزُنۡکَ قَوۡلُہُمۡ ۘ اِنَّ الۡعِزَّۃَ لِلّٰہِ جَمِیۡعًا ؕ ہُوَ السَّمِیۡعُ الۡعَلِیۡمُ ﴿۶۵﴾
65. Do not let their (malicious) words grieve you. Indeed, honour belongs to Allah entirely. He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
ولا يحزنك قولهم إن العزة لله جميعا هو السميع العليم
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 65)
اَلَاۤ اِنَّ لِلّٰہِ مَنۡ فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ مَنۡ فِی الۡاَرۡضِ ؕ وَ مَا یَتَّبِعُ الَّذِیۡنَ یَدۡعُوۡنَ مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰہِ شُرَکَآءَ ؕ اِنۡ یَّـتَّبِعُوۡنَ اِلَّا الظَّنَّ وَ اِنۡ ہُمۡ اِلَّا یَخۡرُصُوۡنَ ﴿۶۶﴾
66. Beware! Indeed, to Allah belongs whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth. Those who worship partner gods besides Allah do not (actually) follow them; they follow nothing but assumptions. And they are just telling lies.
ألا إن لله من في السماوات ومن في الأرض وما يتبع الذين يدعون من دون الله شركاء إن يتبعون إلا الظن وإن هم إلا يخرصون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 66)
ہُوَ الَّذِیۡ جَعَلَ لَکُمُ الَّیۡلَ لِتَسۡکُنُوۡا فِیۡہِ وَ النَّہَارَ مُبۡصِرًا ؕ اِنَّ فِیۡ ذٰلِکَ لَاٰیٰتٍ لِّقَوۡمٍ یَّسۡمَعُوۡنَ ﴿۶۷﴾
67. He is the One Who made the night for you so that you might rest in it and the day (bright) to see. There are signs in it for people who listen.
هو الذي جعل لكم الليل لتسكنوا فيه والنهار مبصرا إن في ذلك لآيات لقوم يسمعون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 67)
قَالُوا اتَّخَذَ اللّٰہُ وَلَدًا سُبۡحٰنَہٗ ؕ ہُوَ الۡغَنِیُّ ؕ لَہٗ مَا فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ مَا فِی الۡاَرۡضِ ؕ اِنۡ عِنۡدَکُمۡ مِّنۡ سُلۡطٰنٍۭ بِہٰذَا ؕ اَتَقُوۡلُوۡنَ عَلَی اللّٰہِ مَا لَا تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿۶۸﴾
68. They say: ‘Allah has taken a son (for Himself)!’ Glory be to Him. He is the Self-Sufficient. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. You have no authority to say this. Do you attribute to Allah what you do not know?
قالوا اتخذ الله ولدا سبحانه هو الغني له ما في السماوات وما في الأرض إن عندكم من سلطان بهـذا أتقولون على الله ما لا تعلمون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 68)
مَتَاعٌ فِی الدُّنۡیَا ثُمَّ اِلَیۡنَا مَرۡجِعُہُمۡ ثُمَّ نُذِیۡقُہُمُ الۡعَذَابَ الشَّدِیۡدَ بِمَا کَانُوۡا یَکۡفُرُوۡنَ ﴿٪۷۰﴾
70. There is an enjoyment (for a few days) in this world, then to Us shall be their return. And We shall make them taste severe punishment for their having disbelieved.
متاع في الدنيا ثم إلينا مرجعهم ثم نذيقهم العذاب الشديد بما كانوا يكفرون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 70)
وَ اتۡلُ عَلَیۡہِمۡ نَبَاَ نُوۡحٍ ۘ اِذۡ قَالَ لِقَوۡمِہٖ یٰقَوۡمِ اِنۡ کَانَ کَبُرَ عَلَیۡکُمۡ مَّقَامِیۡ وَ تَذۡکِیۡرِیۡ بِاٰیٰتِ اللّٰہِ فَعَلَی اللّٰہِ تَوَکَّلۡتُ فَاَجۡمِعُوۡۤا اَمۡرَکُمۡ وَ شُرَکَآءَکُمۡ ثُمَّ لَا یَکُنۡ اَمۡرُکُمۡ عَلَیۡکُمۡ غُمَّۃً ثُمَّ اقۡضُوۡۤا اِلَیَّ وَ لَا تُنۡظِرُوۡنِ ﴿۷۱﴾
71. Relate to them the story of Nuh (Noah), when he said to his people: ‘O my people! If my presence (among you) and my reminders (to you) of Allah’s Signs are hard on you, then I have put my trust in Allah. So, agree upon your plan, you and your partner gods. And no aspect of your plan should remain in doubt. Then, carry it out against me without giving me any respite.
واتل عليهم نبأ نوح إذ قال لقومه يا قوم إن كان كبر عليكم مقامي وتذكيري بآيات الله فعلى الله توكلت فأجمعوا أمركم وشركاءكم ثم لا يكن أمركم عليكم غمة ثم اقضوا إلي ولا تنظرون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 71)
فَاِنۡ تَوَلَّیۡتُمۡ فَمَا سَاَلۡتُکُمۡ مِّنۡ اَجۡرٍ ؕ اِنۡ اَجۡرِیَ اِلَّا عَلَی اللّٰہِ ۙوَ اُمِرۡتُ اَنۡ اَکُوۡنَ مِنَ الۡمُسۡلِمِیۡنَ ﴿۷۲﴾
72. But if you turn away, I have not asked for any reward from you. My reward lies only with Allah, and I am commanded to be among those who submit (to Allah).’
فإن توليتم فما سألتكم من أجر إن أجري إلا على الله وأمرت أن أكون من المسلمين
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 72)
فَکَذَّبُوۡہُ فَنَجَّیۡنٰہُ وَ مَنۡ مَّعَہٗ فِی الۡفُلۡکِ وَ جَعَلۡنٰہُمۡ خَلٰٓئِفَ وَ اَغۡرَقۡنَا الَّذِیۡنَ کَذَّبُوۡا بِاٰیٰتِنَا ۚ فَانۡظُرۡ کَیۡفَ کَانَ عَاقِبَۃُ الۡمُنۡذَرِیۡنَ ﴿۷۳﴾
73. But they rejected him. So We saved him and those with him on the Ark. We made them the successors and drowned those who denied Our revelations. So observe how was the fate of those who had been warned!
فكذبوه فنجيناه ومن معه في الفلك وجعلناهم خلائف وأغرقنا الذين كذبوا بآياتنا فانظر كيف كان عاقبة المنذرين
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 73)
ثُمَّ بَعَثۡنَا مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِہٖ رُسُلًا اِلٰی قَوۡمِہِمۡ فَجَآءُوۡہُمۡ بِالۡبَیِّنٰتِ فَمَا کَانُوۡا لِیُؤۡمِنُوۡا بِمَا کَذَّبُوۡا بِہٖ مِنۡ قَبۡلُ ؕ کَذٰلِکَ نَطۡبَعُ عَلٰی قُلُوۡبِ الۡمُعۡتَدِیۡنَ ﴿۷۴﴾
74. Then, after him, We sent messengers to their people, and they came to them with clear proofs. But they did not believe in anything they had already rejected. In this way, We seal the hearts of the transgressors.
ثم بعثنا من بعده رسلا إلى قومهم فجآؤوهم بالبينات فما كانوا ليؤمنوا بما كذبوا به من قبل كذلك نطبع على قلوب المعتدين
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 74)
ثُمَّ بَعَثۡنَا مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِہِمۡ مُّوۡسٰی وَ ہٰرُوۡنَ اِلٰی فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَ مَلَا۠ئِہٖ بِاٰیٰتِنَا فَاسۡتَکۡبَرُوۡا وَ کَانُوۡا قَوۡمًا مُّجۡرِمِیۡنَ ﴿۷۵﴾
75. Then, after them, We sent Musa and Harun (Moses and Aaron) to Pharaoh and his influential people with Our signs. But they acted arrogantly, and they were a guilty people.
ثم بعثنا من بعدهم موسى وهارون إلى فرعون وملئه بآياتنا فاستكبروا وكانوا قوما مجرمين
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 75)
قَالَ مُوۡسٰۤی اَتَقُوۡلُوۡنَ لِلۡحَقِّ لَمَّا جَآءَکُمۡ ؕ اَسِحۡرٌ ہٰذَا ؕ وَ لَا یُفۡلِحُ السّٰحِرُوۡنَ ﴿۷۷﴾
77. Musa (Moses) said: ‘Is this what you say about the truth when it comes to you? Is this magic? The magicians are never successful.’
قال موسى أتقولون للحق لما جاءكم أسحر هـذا ولا يفلح الساحرون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 77)
قَالُوۡۤا اَجِئۡتَنَا لِتَلۡفِتَنَا عَمَّا وَجَدۡنَا عَلَیۡہِ اٰبَآءَنَا وَ تَکُوۡنَ لَکُمَا الۡکِبۡرِیَآءُ فِی الۡاَرۡضِ ؕ وَ مَا نَحۡنُ لَکُمَا بِمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ ﴿۷۸﴾
78. They said: ‘Have you come to us to turn us away from what we found our forefathers following so that supremacy in the land should be for you both? We will not believe in both of you.’
قالوا أجئتنا لتلفتنا عما وجدنا عليه آباءنا وتكون لكما الكبرياء في الأرض وما نحن لكما بمؤمنين
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 78)
فَلَمَّاۤ اَلۡقَوۡا قَالَ مُوۡسٰی مَا جِئۡتُمۡ بِہِ ۙ السِّحۡرُ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ سَیُبۡطِلُہٗ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ لَا یُصۡلِحُ عَمَلَ الۡمُفۡسِدِیۡنَ ﴿۸۱﴾
81. When they threw down (their ropes and sticks), Musa (Moses) said: ‘Whatever you have produced is magic. Allah will soon prove it to be false. Indeed, Allah does not allow the work of mischief-makers to flourish.
فلما ألقوا قال موسى ما جئتم به السحر إن الله سيبطله إن الله لا يصلح عمل المفسدين
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 81)
فَمَاۤ اٰمَنَ لِمُوۡسٰۤی اِلَّا ذُرِّیَّۃٌ مِّنۡ قَوۡمِہٖ عَلٰی خَوۡفٍ مِّنۡ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَ مَلَا۠ئِہِمۡ اَنۡ یَّفۡتِنَہُمۡ ؕ وَ اِنَّ فِرۡعَوۡنَ لَعَالٍ فِی الۡاَرۡضِ ۚ وَ اِنَّہٗ لَمِنَ الۡمُسۡرِفِیۡنَ ﴿۸۳﴾
83. But none believed in Musa (Moses) except some youths from among his people, fearing that Pharaoh and his influential people would persecute them. And Pharaoh was indeed a tyrant in the land, and he was among the transgressors.
فما آمن لموسى إلا ذرية من قومه على خوف من فرعون وملئهم أن يفتنهم وإن فرعون لعال في الأرض وإنه لمن المسرفين
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 83)
وَ قَالَ مُوۡسٰی یٰقَوۡمِ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ اٰمَنۡتُمۡ بِاللّٰہِ فَعَلَیۡہِ تَوَکَّلُوۡۤا اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ مُّسۡلِمِیۡنَ ﴿۸۴﴾
84. And Musa (Moses) said: ‘O my people! If you have believed in Allah, put your trust in Him, if you (truly) submit (to Him).’
وقال موسى يا قوم إن كنتم آمنتم بالله فعليه توكلوا إن كنتم مسلمين
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 84)
فَقَالُوۡا عَلَی اللّٰہِ تَوَکَّلۡنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا لَا تَجۡعَلۡنَا فِتۡنَۃً لِّلۡقَوۡمِ الظّٰلِمِیۡنَ ﴿ۙ۸۵﴾
85. So they said: ‘In Allah, we have put our trust. Our Lord! Do not make us subject to the persecution of the oppressors,
فقالوا على الله توكلنا ربنا لا تجعلنا فتنة للقوم الظالمين
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 85)
وَ اَوۡحَیۡنَاۤ اِلٰی مُوۡسٰی وَ اَخِیۡہِ اَنۡ تَبَوَّاٰ لِقَوۡمِکُمَا بِمِصۡرَ بُیُوۡتًا وَّ اجۡعَلُوۡا بُیُوۡتَکُمۡ قِبۡلَۃً وَّ اَقِیۡمُوا الصَّلٰوۃَ ؕ وَ بَشِّرِ الۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ ﴿۸۷﴾
87. And We revealed to Musa (Moses) and his brother (saying): ‘Prepare some houses for your people in Egypt, and make your houses places of worship, and establish the prayer (in them) and give glad tidings to the believers.’
وأوحينا إلى موسى وأخيه أن تبوءا لقومكما بمصر بيوتا واجعلوا بيوتكم قبلة وأقيموا الصلاة وبشر المؤمنين
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 87)
وَ قَالَ مُوۡسٰی رَبَّنَاۤ اِنَّکَ اٰتَیۡتَ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَ مَلَاَہٗ زِیۡنَۃً وَّ اَمۡوَالًا فِی الۡحَیٰوۃِ الدُّنۡیَا ۙ رَبَّنَا لِیُضِلُّوۡا عَنۡ سَبِیۡلِکَ ۚ رَبَّنَا اطۡمِسۡ عَلٰۤی اَمۡوَالِہِمۡ وَ اشۡدُدۡ عَلٰی قُلُوۡبِہِمۡ فَلَا یُؤۡمِنُوۡا حَتّٰی یَرَوُا الۡعَذَابَ الۡاَلِیۡمَ ﴿۸۸﴾
88. And Musa (Moses) said: ‘Our Lord! You have given Pharaoh and his influential people luxury and abundance of wealth in this worldly life (which they abuse)—Our Lord—to lead (people) astray from Your way. Our Lord! Destroy their wealth and harden their hearts so they do not believe until they see the painful punishment.’
وقال موسى ربنا إنك آتيت فرعون وملأه زينة وأموالا في الحياة الدنيا ربنا ليضلوا عن سبيلك ربنا اطمس على أموالهم واشدد على قلوبهم فلا يؤمنوا حتى يروا العذاب الأليم
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 88)
قَالَ قَدۡ اُجِیۡبَتۡ دَّعۡوَتُکُمَا فَاسۡتَقِیۡمَا وَ لَا تَتَّبِعٰٓنِّ سَبِیۡلَ الَّذِیۡنَ لَا یَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿۸۹﴾
89. He said: ‘(O Moses and Aaron!) Your supplication has been answered. So remain steadfast, and do not follow the way of those who do not know.’
قال قد أجيبت دعوتكما فاستقيما ولا تتبعآن سبيل الذين لا يعلمون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 89)
وَ جٰوَزۡنَا بِبَنِیۡۤ اِسۡرَآءِیۡلَ الۡبَحۡرَ فَاَتۡبَعَہُمۡ فِرۡعَوۡنُ وَ جُنُوۡدُہٗ بَغۡیًا وَّ عَدۡوًا ؕ حَتّٰۤی اِذَاۤ اَدۡرَکَہُ الۡغَرَقُ ۙ قَالَ اٰمَنۡتُ اَنَّہٗ لَاۤ اِلٰہَ اِلَّا الَّذِیۡۤ اٰمَنَتۡ بِہٖ بَنُوۡۤا اِسۡرَآءِیۡلَ وَ اَنَا مِنَ الۡمُسۡلِمِیۡنَ ﴿۹۰﴾
90. And We carried the Children of Israel across the sea. Then, Pharaoh and his troops pursued them out of defiance and aggression. But when drowning overtook him, he called out: ‘I believe there is no god except the One in whom the Children of Israel have believed. And I am among those who submit (to Him).’
وجاوزنا ببني إسرائيل البحر فأتبعهم فرعون وجنوده بغيا وعدوا حتى إذا أدركه الغرق قال آمنت أنه لا إلـه إلا الذي آمنت به بنو إسرائيل وأنا من المسلمين
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 90)
فَالۡیَوۡمَ نُنَجِّیۡکَ بِبَدَنِکَ لِتَکُوۡنَ لِمَنۡ خَلۡفَکَ اٰیَۃً ؕ وَ اِنَّ کَثِیۡرًا مِّنَ النَّاسِ عَنۡ اٰیٰتِنَا لَغٰفِلُوۡنَ ﴿٪۹۲﴾
92. So today, We shall save (only) your corpse so that you may be a sign for those who come after you. Indeed, the majority of the people are negligent of Our signs.’
فاليوم ننجيك ببدنك لتكون لمن خلفك آية وإن كثيرا من الناس عن آياتنا لغافلون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 92)
وَ لَقَدۡ بَوَّاۡنَا بَنِیۡۤ اِسۡرَآءِیۡلَ مُبَوَّاَ صِدۡقٍ وَّ رَزَقۡنٰہُمۡ مِّنَ الطَّیِّبٰتِ ۚ فَمَا اخۡتَلَفُوۡا حَتّٰی جَآءَہُمُ الۡعِلۡمُ ؕ اِنَّ رَبَّکَ یَقۡضِیۡ بَیۡنَہُمۡ یَوۡمَ الۡقِیٰمَۃِ فِیۡمَا کَانُوۡا فِیۡہِ یَخۡتَلِفُوۡنَ ﴿۹۳﴾
93. Indeed, We settled the Children of Israel in a worthy place and provided good things as sustenance for them. And they did not differ until the knowledge (of the Torah) came to them. Your Lord will indeed judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning what they used to differ.
ولقد بوأنا بني إسرائيل مبوأ صدق ورزقناهم من الطيبات فما اختلفوا حتى جاءهم العلم إن ربك يقضي بينهم يوم القيامة فيما كانوا فيه يختلفون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 93)
فَاِنۡ کُنۡتَ فِیۡ شَکٍّ مِّمَّاۤ اَنۡزَلۡنَاۤ اِلَیۡکَ فَسۡـَٔلِ الَّذِیۡنَ یَقۡرَءُوۡنَ الۡکِتٰبَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِکَ ۚ لَقَدۡ جَآءَکَ الۡحَقُّ مِنۡ رَّبِّکَ فَلَا تَکُوۡنَنَّ مِنَ الۡمُمۡتَرِیۡنَ ﴿ۙ۹۴﴾
94. (O listener!) If you are in doubt about (the stories) We have revealed to you (through Our Messenger (blessings and peace be upon him), ask those who have been reading the Book (i.e. the Torah and the Gospel) before you. The truth has certainly come to you from your Lord; therefore, you should not be among the doubters.
فإن كنت في شك مما أنزلنا إليك فاسأل الذين يقرؤون الكتاب من قبلك لقد جاءك الحق من ربك فلا تكونن من الممترين
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 94)
فَلَوۡ لَا کَانَتۡ قَرۡیَۃٌ اٰمَنَتۡ فَنَفَعَہَاۤ اِیۡمَانُہَاۤ اِلَّا قَوۡمَ یُوۡنُسَ ؕ لَمَّاۤ اٰمَنُوۡا کَشَفۡنَا عَنۡہُمۡ عَذَابَ الۡخِزۡیِ فِی الۡحَیٰوۃِ الدُّنۡیَا وَ مَتَّعۡنٰہُمۡ اِلٰی حِیۡنٍ ﴿۹۸﴾
98. Why was there not a single town which had believed (without seeing the torment) so that its belief would have benefitted it, except the people of Yunus (Jonah)? When they believed, We removed from them the punishment of disgrace in this worldly life and granted them provision for some time.
فلولا كانت قرية آمنت فنفعها إيمانها إلا قوم يونس لمآ آمنوا كشفنا عنهم عذاب الخزي في الحياة الدنيا ومتعناهم إلى حين
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 98)
وَ لَوۡ شَآءَ رَبُّکَ لَاٰمَنَ مَنۡ فِی الۡاَرۡضِ کُلُّہُمۡ جَمِیۡعًا ؕ اَفَاَنۡتَ تُکۡرِہُ النَّاسَ حَتّٰی یَکُوۡنُوۡا مُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ ﴿۹۹﴾
99. If your Lord had so pleased, all those who were (living) on the earth would have surely believed. Would you then force people until they become believers?
ولو شاء ربك لآمن من في الأرض كلهم جميعا أفأنت تكره الناس حتى يكونوا مؤمنين
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 99)
وَ مَا کَانَ لِنَفۡسٍ اَنۡ تُؤۡمِنَ اِلَّا بِاِذۡنِ اللّٰہِ ؕ وَ یَجۡعَلُ الرِّجۡسَ عَلَی الَّذِیۡنَ لَا یَعۡقِلُوۡنَ ﴿۱۰۰﴾
100. And it is not for a soul to believe except by Allah’s leave. And He lays disgrace on those who do not use (their) reason (to understand the truth).
وما كان لنفس أن تؤمن إلا بإذن الله ويجعل الرجس على الذين لا يعقلون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 100)
قُلِ انۡظُرُوۡا مَاذَا فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الۡاَرۡضِ ؕ وَ مَا تُغۡنِی الۡاٰیٰتُ وَ النُّذُرُ عَنۡ قَوۡمٍ لَّا یُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ ﴿۱۰۱﴾
101. Say: ‘Observe what is in the heavens and the earth.’ But neither signs nor warnings are of any benefit to those who refuse to believe.
قل انظروا ماذا في السماوات والأرض وما تغني الآيات والنذر عن قوم لا يؤمنون
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 101)
فَہَلۡ یَنۡتَظِرُوۡنَ اِلَّا مِثۡلَ اَیَّامِ الَّذِیۡنَ خَلَوۡا مِنۡ قَبۡلِہِمۡ ؕ قُلۡ فَانۡتَظِرُوۡۤا اِنِّیۡ مَعَکُمۡ مِّنَ الۡمُنۡتَظِرِیۡنَ ﴿۱۰۲﴾
102. Are they waiting for (anything else) but the same (punishment) of the days of those (deniers) who passed away before them? Say: ‘Then watch and wait; I am also watching and waiting along with you.’
فهل ينتظرون إلا مثل أيام الذين خلوا من قبلهم قل فانتظروا إني معكم من المنتظرين
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 102)
ثُمَّ نُنَجِّیۡ رُسُلَنَا وَ الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا کَذٰلِکَ ۚ حَقًّا عَلَیۡنَا نُنۡجِ الۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ ﴿۱۰۳﴾٪
103. Then We delivered Our messengers and those who believed (with them). Thus, it is incumbent upon Us to save the believers.
ثم ننجي رسلنا والذين آمنوا كذلك حقا علينا ننج المؤمنين
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 103)
قُلۡ یٰۤاَیُّہَا النَّاسُ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ فِیۡ شَکٍّ مِّنۡ دِیۡنِیۡ فَلَاۤ اَعۡبُدُ الَّذِیۡنَ تَعۡبُدُوۡنَ مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰہِ وَ لٰکِنۡ اَعۡبُدُ اللّٰہَ الَّذِیۡ یَتَوَفّٰىکُمۡ ۚۖ وَ اُمِرۡتُ اَنۡ اَکُوۡنَ مِنَ الۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ ﴿۱۰۴﴾ۙ
104. Say: ‘O people, if you are in doubt about my religion, then (know that) I do not worship those (idols) whom you worship apart from Allah. Rather, I worship only Allah, Who causes you to die. And I have been commanded to be among the believers,
قل يا أيها الناس إن كنتم في شك من ديني فلا أعبد الذين تعبدون من دون الله ولـكن أعبد الله الذي يتوفاكم وأمرت أن أكون من المؤمنين
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 104)
وَ لَا تَدۡعُ مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰہِ مَا لَا یَنۡفَعُکَ وَ لَا یَضُرُّکَ ۚ فَاِنۡ فَعَلۡتَ فَاِنَّکَ اِذًا مِّنَ الظّٰلِمِیۡنَ ﴿۱۰۶﴾
106. And do not worship (anything) besides Allah, which can neither benefit you nor harm you—for if you do so, then you shall surely be among the wrongdoers.
ولا تدع من دون الله ما لا ينفعك ولا يضرك فإن فعلت فإنك إذا من الظالمين
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 106)
وَ اِنۡ یَّمۡسَسۡکَ اللّٰہُ بِضُرٍّ فَلَا کَاشِفَ لَہٗۤ اِلَّا ہُوَ ۚ وَ اِنۡ یُّرِدۡکَ بِخَیۡرٍ فَلَا رَآدَّ لِفَضۡلِہٖ ؕ یُصِیۡبُ بِہٖ مَنۡ یَّشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِہٖ ؕ وَ ہُوَ الۡغَفُوۡرُ الرَّحِیۡمُ ﴿۱۰۷﴾
107. If Allah afflicts you with any harm, there is none to remove it except Him. And if He intends any good for you, there is none to repel His grace. He brings it to whom He pleases among His servants. And He is the Most-Forgiving, the All-Merciful.
وإن يمسسك الله بضر فلا كاشف له إلا هو وإن يردك بخير فلا رآد لفضله يصيب به من يشاء من عباده وهو الغفور الرحيم
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 107)
قُلۡ یٰۤاَیُّہَا النَّاسُ قَدۡ جَآءَکُمُ الۡحَقُّ مِنۡ رَّبِّکُمۡ ۚ فَمَنِ اہۡتَدٰی فَاِنَّمَا یَہۡتَدِیۡ لِنَفۡسِہٖ ۚ وَ مَنۡ ضَلَّ فَاِنَّمَا یَضِلُّ عَلَیۡہَا ۚ وَ مَاۤ اَنَا عَلَیۡکُمۡ بِوَکِیۡلٍ ﴿۱۰۸﴾ؕ
108. Say: ‘O people! Indeed, the truth has come to you from your Lord. Therefore, whoever is rightly guided is guided only for (the benefit of) his soul. And whoever goes astray, he goes astray only to its detriment. And I am not a guardian over you.’
قل يا أيها الناس قد جاءكم الحق من ربكم فمن اهتدى فإنما يهتدي لنفسه ومن ضل فإنما يضل عليها وما أنا عليكم بوكيل
(يُوْنـُس، 10 : 108)
وَ اتَّبِعۡ مَا یُوۡحٰۤی اِلَیۡکَ وَ اصۡبِرۡ حَتّٰی یَحۡکُمَ اللّٰہُ ۚۖ وَ ہُوَ خَیۡرُ الۡحٰکِمِیۡنَ ﴿۱۰۹﴾٪
