In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the All-Merciful
لَاہِیَۃً قُلُوۡبُہُمۡ ؕ وَ اَسَرُّوا النَّجۡوَی ٭ۖ الَّذِیۡنَ ظَلَمُوۡا ٭ۖ ہَلۡ ہٰذَاۤ اِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثۡلُکُمۡ ۚ اَفَتَاۡتُوۡنَ السِّحۡرَ وَ اَنۡتُمۡ تُبۡصِرُوۡنَ ﴿۳﴾
3. with their hearts (totally) distracted. Those who are unjust secretly whisper: ‘Is not this (man) just a human being like yourselves? Will you surrender to (his) magic while you see clearly?’
لاهية قلوبهم وأسروا النجوى الذين ظلموا هل هذا إلا بشر مثلكم أفتأتون السحر وأنتم تبصرون
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 3)
بَلۡ قَالُوۡۤا اَضۡغَاثُ اَحۡلَامٍۭ بَلِ افۡتَرٰىہُ بَلۡ ہُوَ شَاعِرٌ ۚۖ فَلۡیَاۡتِنَا بِاٰیَۃٍ کَمَاۤ اُرۡسِلَ الۡاَوَّلُوۡنَ ﴿۵﴾
5. Yet they said: ‘(These Reminders are) confused dreams! Rather, he has fabricated it! Rather, he is a poet! Let him bring us a sign like the former (messengers) were sent (with signs).’
بل قالوا أضغاث أحلام بل افتراه بل هو شاعر فليأتنا بآية كما أرسل الأولون
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 5)
وَ مَاۤ اَرۡسَلۡنَا قَبۡلَکَ اِلَّا رِجَالًا نُّوۡحِیۡۤ اِلَیۡہِمۡ فَسۡـَٔلُوۡۤا اَہۡلَ الذِّکۡرِ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ لَا تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿۷﴾
7. We did not send (the messengers) before you, except men to whom We revealed. So ask the People of the Reminder if you do not know.
وما أرسلنا قبلك إلا رجالا نوحي إليهم فاسألوا أهل الذكر إن كنتم لا تعلمون
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 7)
لَا تَرۡکُضُوۡا وَ ارۡجِعُوۡۤا اِلٰی مَاۤ اُتۡرِفۡتُمۡ فِیۡہِ وَ مَسٰکِنِکُمۡ لَعَلَّکُمۡ تُسۡـَٔلُوۡنَ ﴿۱۳﴾
13. (The angels said:) ‘Do not try to escape (now)! Return to the pleasures you were given to enjoy and to your dwellings. So that you may be questioned!’
لا تركضوا وارجعوا إلى ما أترفتم فيه ومساكنكم لعلكم تسألون
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 13)
بَلۡ نَقۡذِفُ بِالۡحَقِّ عَلَی الۡبَاطِلِ فَیَدۡمَغُہٗ فَاِذَا ہُوَ زَاہِقٌ ؕ وَ لَکُمُ الۡوَیۡلُ مِمَّا تَصِفُوۡنَ ﴿۱۸﴾
18. Rather, We cast truth against falsehood, and it crushes its head. And behold, it (i.e. falsehood) vanishes away. And woe to you for what you allege (about Allah).
بل نقذف بالحق على الباطل فيدمغه فإذا هو زاهق ولكم الويل مما تصفون
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 18)
وَ لَہٗ مَنۡ فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الۡاَرۡضِ ؕ وَ مَنۡ عِنۡدَہٗ لَا یَسۡتَکۡبِرُوۡنَ عَنۡ عِبَادَتِہٖ وَ لَا یَسۡتَحۡسِرُوۡنَ ﴿ۚ۱۹﴾
19. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. And those who remain in His presence are neither arrogant to worship Him, nor do they get tired.
وله من في السماوات والأرض ومن عنده لا يستكبرون عن عبادته ولا يستحسرون
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 19)
لَوۡ کَانَ فِیۡہِمَاۤ اٰلِہَۃٌ اِلَّا اللّٰہُ لَفَسَدَتَا ۚ فَسُبۡحٰنَ اللّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعَرۡشِ عَمَّا یَصِفُوۡنَ ﴿۲۲﴾
22. Had there been gods in them (i.e. the heavens and the earth) other than Allah, they would surely have collapsed. So, Glory be to Allah, the Lord of the Throne, above what they attribute to Him.
لو كان فيهما آلهة إلا الله لفسدتا فسبحان الله رب العرش عما يصفون
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 22)
اَمِ اتَّخَذُوۡا مِنۡ دُوۡنِہٖۤ اٰلِہَۃً ؕ قُلۡ ہَاتُوۡا بُرۡہَانَکُمۡ ۚ ہٰذَا ذِکۡرُ مَنۡ مَّعِیَ وَ ذِکۡرُ مَنۡ قَبۡلِیۡ ؕ بَلۡ اَکۡثَرُہُمۡ لَا یَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ۙ الۡحَقَّ فَہُمۡ مُّعۡرِضُوۡنَ ﴿۲۴﴾
24. Have they taken gods besides Him? Say: ‘Produce your evidence! This is a reminder for those with me and a reminder for those before me.’ Instead, most of them do not know the truth, so they are disregardful.
أم اتخذوا من دونه آلهة قل هاتوا برهانكم هذا ذكر من معي وذكر من قبلي بل أكثرهم لا يعلمون الحق فهم معرضون
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 24)
وَ مَاۤ اَرۡسَلۡنَا مِنۡ قَبۡلِکَ مِنۡ رَّسُوۡلٍ اِلَّا نُوۡحِیۡۤ اِلَیۡہِ اَنَّہٗ لَاۤ اِلٰہَ اِلَّاۤ اَنَا فَاعۡبُدُوۡنِ ﴿۲۵﴾
25. We never sent any messenger before you, but We revealed to him: ‘There is no god except Me.’ So worship Me.
وما أرسلنا من قبلك من رسول إلا نوحي إليه أنه لا إله إلا أنا فاعبدون
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 25)
وَ قَالُوا اتَّخَذَ الرَّحۡمٰنُ وَلَدًا سُبۡحٰنَہٗ ؕ بَلۡ عِبَادٌ مُّکۡرَمُوۡنَ ﴿ۙ۲۶﴾
26. And they say: ‘The Most-Compassionate (Lord) has taken (angels as His) children.’ Glory be to Him. Instead, they are (His) honoured servants.
وقالوا اتخذ الرحمن ولدا سبحانه بل عباد مكرمون
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 26)
یَعۡلَمُ مَا بَیۡنَ اَیۡدِیۡہِمۡ وَ مَا خَلۡفَہُمۡ وَ لَا یَشۡفَعُوۡنَ ۙ اِلَّا لِمَنِ ارۡتَضٰی وَ ہُمۡ مِّنۡ خَشۡیَتِہٖ مُشۡفِقُوۡنَ ﴿۲۸﴾
28. He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they do not intercede except for him with whom He is pleased. And they (themselves) are apprehensive in fear of Him.
يعلم ما بين أيديهم وما خلفهم ولا يشفعون إلا لمن ارتضى وهم من خشيته مشفقون
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 28)
وَ مَنۡ یَّقُلۡ مِنۡہُمۡ اِنِّیۡۤ اِلٰہٌ مِّنۡ دُوۡنِہٖ فَذٰلِکَ نَجۡزِیۡہِ جَہَنَّمَ ؕ کَذٰلِکَ نَجۡزِی الظّٰلِمِیۡنَ ﴿٪۲۹﴾
29. Whosoever among them says, ‘I am a god besides Him’, we shall reward such (a person) with Hell. That is how We recompense the wrongdoers.
ومن يقل منهم إني إله من دونه فذلك نجزيه جهنم كذلك نجزي الظالمين
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 29)
اَوَ لَمۡ یَرَ الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡۤا اَنَّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الۡاَرۡضَ کَانَتَا رَتۡقًا فَفَتَقۡنٰہُمَا ؕ وَ جَعَلۡنَا مِنَ الۡمَآءِ کُلَّ شَیۡءٍ حَیٍّ ؕ اَفَلَا یُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ ﴿۳۰﴾
30. Have the disbelievers not considered that the heavens and the earth were joined together (at one time), and then We split them apart? And We originated (the life of) all living organisms (on earth) from water. Will they still not believe (after learning these facts mentioned in the Qur’an)?
أولم ير الذين كفروا أن السماوات والأرض كانتا رتقا ففتقناهما وجعلنا من الماء كل شيء حي أفلا يؤمنون
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 30)
وَ جَعَلۡنَا فِی الۡاَرۡضِ رَوَاسِیَ اَنۡ تَمِیۡدَ بِہِمۡ ۪ وَ جَعَلۡنَا فِیۡہَا فِجَاجًا سُبُلًا لَّعَلَّہُمۡ یَہۡتَدُوۡنَ ﴿۳۱﴾
31. And We set firm mountains in the earth, lest it should shake with them (while rotating in its orbit). And We made on this (earth) broad ways so that they might find routes (to different destinations).
وجعلنا في الأرض رواسي أن تميد بهم وجعلنا فيها فجاجا سبلا لعلهم يهتدون
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 31)
وَ جَعَلۡنَا السَّمَآءَ سَقۡفًا مَّحۡفُوۡظًا ۚۖ وَّ ہُمۡ عَنۡ اٰیٰتِہَا مُعۡرِضُوۡنَ ﴿۳۲﴾
32. We made the upper spheres of the earth a secure roof.* Yet they are disregardful of its signs.
* These upper spheres protect the earth’s inhabitants from the harmful waves and radiation coming from space.
وجعلنا السماء سقفا محفوظا وهم عن آياتها معرضون
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 32)
کُلُّ نَفۡسٍ ذَآئِقَۃُ الۡمَوۡتِ ؕ وَ نَبۡلُوۡکُمۡ بِالشَّرِّ وَ الۡخَیۡرِ فِتۡنَۃً ؕ وَ اِلَیۡنَا تُرۡجَعُوۡنَ ﴿۳۵﴾
35. Every soul is sure to taste death, and We try you (all) with evil and with good as a test. And to Us shall you be returned.
كل نفس ذائقة الموت ونبلوكم بالشر والخير فتنة وإلينا ترجعون
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 35)
وَ اِذَا رَاٰکَ الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡۤا اِنۡ یَّتَّخِذُوۡنَکَ اِلَّا ہُزُوًا ؕ اَہٰذَا الَّذِیۡ یَذۡکُرُ اٰلِہَتَکُمۡ ۚ وَ ہُمۡ بِذِکۡرِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ ہُمۡ کٰفِرُوۡنَ ﴿۳۶﴾
36. And whenever the disbelievers see you, they only take you for mockery, (saying:) ‘Is this the one who speaks (ill) of your gods?’ But it is they who deny the remembrance of the Most-Compassionate (Lord).
وإذا رآك الذين كفروا إن يتخذونك إلا هزوا أهذا الذي يذكر آلهتكم وهم بذكر الرحمن هم كافرون
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 36)
خُلِقَ الۡاِنۡسَانُ مِنۡ عَجَلٍ ؕ سَاُورِیۡکُمۡ اٰیٰتِیۡ فَلَا تَسۡتَعۡجِلُوۡنِ ﴿۳۷﴾
37. Human being was created hasty (and impatient by his disposition). I shall soon show you My signs. So do not ask Me to hasten (the punishment).
خلق الإنسان من عجل سأوريكم آياتي فلا تستعجلون
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 37)
لَوۡ یَعۡلَمُ الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا حِیۡنَ لَا یَکُفُّوۡنَ عَنۡ وُّجُوۡہِہِمُ النَّارَ وَ لَا عَنۡ ظُہُوۡرِہِمۡ وَ لَا ہُمۡ یُنۡصَرُوۡنَ ﴿۳۹﴾
39. If only the disbelievers knew that a time would come when they would not be able to stop the Fire from (burning) their faces and their backs, nor would they be helped (then they would not seek to hasten it).
لو يعلم الذين كفروا حين لا يكفون عن وجوههم النار ولا عن ظهورهم ولا هم ينصرون
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 39)
بَلۡ تَاۡتِیۡہِمۡ بَغۡتَۃً فَتَبۡہَتُہُمۡ فَلَا یَسۡتَطِیۡعُوۡنَ رَدَّہَا وَ لَا ہُمۡ یُنۡظَرُوۡنَ ﴿۴۰﴾
40. Instead, it will come upon them suddenly and confound them. So, neither will they be able to avert it nor be granted respite.
بل تأتيهم بغتة فتبهتهم فلا يستطيعون ردها ولا هم ينظرون
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 40)
وَ لَقَدِ اسۡتُہۡزِئَ بِرُسُلٍ مِّنۡ قَبۡلِکَ فَحَاقَ بِالَّذِیۡنَ سَخِرُوۡا مِنۡہُمۡ مَّا کَانُوۡا بِہٖ یَسۡتَہۡزِءُوۡنَ ﴿٪۴۱﴾
41. And certainly messengers were mocked before you. But those who ridiculed them were overtaken by what they used to mock.
ولقد استهزئ برسل من قبلك فحاق بالذين سخروا منهم ما كانوا به يستهزؤون
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 41)
قُلۡ مَنۡ یَّکۡلَؤُکُمۡ بِالَّیۡلِ وَ النَّہَارِ مِنَ الرَّحۡمٰنِ ؕ بَلۡ ہُمۡ عَنۡ ذِکۡرِ رَبِّہِمۡ مُّعۡرِضُوۡنَ ﴿۴۲﴾
42. Say: ‘Who can guard you by night and day from (the punishment of) the Most-Compassionate (Lord)?’ Instead, they are disregardful of their Lord’s remembrance.
قل من يكلؤكم بالليل والنهار من الرحمن بل هم عن ذكر ربهم معرضون
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 42)
اَمۡ لَہُمۡ اٰلِہَۃٌ تَمۡنَعُہُمۡ مِّنۡ دُوۡنِنَا ؕ لَا یَسۡتَطِیۡعُوۡنَ نَصۡرَ اَنۡفُسِہِمۡ وَ لَا ہُمۡ مِّنَّا یُصۡحَبُوۡنَ ﴿۴۳﴾
43. Do they have gods besides Us who can defend them (from the punishment)? They can neither help themselves nor will they be given protection against Us.
أم لهم آلهة تمنعهم من دوننا لا يستطيعون نصر أنفسهم ولا هم منا يصحبون
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 43)
بَلۡ مَتَّعۡنَا ہٰۤؤُلَآءِ وَ اٰبَآءَہُمۡ حَتّٰی طَالَ عَلَیۡہِمُ الۡعُمُرُ ؕ اَفَلَا یَرَوۡنَ اَنَّا نَاۡتِی الۡاَرۡضَ نَنۡقُصُہَا مِنۡ اَطۡرَافِہَا ؕ اَفَہُمُ الۡغٰلِبُوۡنَ ﴿۴۴﴾
44. Instead, We provided enjoyment to these (Meccans) and their fathers until they lived on for a long time. Do they not see how We are shrinking the land (under their control) from its borders? So, are they the ones who will prevail?
بل متعنا هؤلاء وآباءهم حتى طال عليهم العمر أفلا يرون أنا نأتي الأرض ننقصها من أطرافها أفهم الغالبون
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 44)
وَ لَئِنۡ مَّسَّتۡہُمۡ نَفۡحَۃٌ مِّنۡ عَذَابِ رَبِّکَ لَیَقُوۡلُنَّ یٰوَیۡلَنَاۤ اِنَّا کُنَّا ظٰلِمِیۡنَ ﴿۴۶﴾
46. Yet if a (minor) breath of your Lord’s punishment touches them, they will surely say: ‘Woe to us! Truly, we have been wrongdoers.’
ولئن مستهم نفحة من عذاب ربك ليقولن يا ويلنا إنا كنا ظالمين
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 46)
وَ نَضَعُ الۡمَوَازِیۡنَ الۡقِسۡطَ لِیَوۡمِ الۡقِیٰمَۃِ فَلَا تُظۡلَمُ نَفۡسٌ شَیۡئًا ؕ وَ اِنۡ کَانَ مِثۡقَالَ حَبَّۃٍ مِّنۡ خَرۡدَلٍ اَتَیۡنَا بِہَا ؕ وَ کَفٰی بِنَا حٰسِبِیۡنَ ﴿۴۷﴾
47. And We shall set up the scales of justice on the Day of Resurrection. And no soul shall be wronged in the least. Even if it be the weight of a grain of mustard seed, We shall produce it, and We suffice as Reckoners.
ونضع الموازين القسط ليوم القيامة فلا تظلم نفس شيئا وإن كان مثقال حبة من خردل أتينا بها وكفى بنا حاسبين
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 47)
وَ لَقَدۡ اٰتَیۡنَا مُوۡسٰی وَ ہٰرُوۡنَ الۡفُرۡقَانَ وَ ضِیَآءً وَّ ذِکۡرًا لِّلۡمُتَّقِیۡنَ ﴿ۙ۴۸﴾
48. And indeed, We gave Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron) the standard (to distinguish between right and wrong), a light and a reminder for those who are God-conscious.
ولقد آتينا موسى وهارون الفرقان وضياء وذكرا للمتقين
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 48)
اِذۡ قَالَ لِاَبِیۡہِ وَ قَوۡمِہٖ مَا ہٰذِہِ التَّمَاثِیۡلُ الَّتِیۡۤ اَنۡتُمۡ لَہَا عٰکِفُوۡنَ ﴿۵۲﴾
52. When he said to his (foster) father and his people: ‘What are these idols to which you are so devoted (in worship)?’
إذ قال لأبيه وقومه ما هذه التماثيل التي أنتم لها عاكفون
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 52)
قَالَ بَلۡ رَّبُّکُمۡ رَبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الۡاَرۡضِ الَّذِیۡ فَطَرَہُنَّ ۫ۖ وَ اَنَا عَلٰی ذٰلِکُمۡ مِّنَ الشّٰہِدِیۡنَ ﴿۵۶﴾
56. He said: ‘Instead, your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, Who brought them into existence. And I am among those who bear witness to that.
قال بل ربكم رب السماوات والأرض الذي فطرهن وأنا على ذلكم من الشاهدين
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 56)
وَ نَجَّیۡنٰہُ وَ لُوۡطًا اِلَی الۡاَرۡضِ الَّتِیۡ بٰرَکۡنَا فِیۡہَا لِلۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ ﴿۷۱﴾
71. And We rescued him and Lut* towards the land We had blessed for all nations.
* Prophet Lut was the nephew of Prophet Ibrahim, the son of his brother Haran, from Mesopotamia (Iraq).
ونجيناه ولوطا إلى الأرض التي باركنا فيها للعالمين
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 71)
وَ جَعَلۡنٰہُمۡ اَئِمَّۃً یَّہۡدُوۡنَ بِاَمۡرِنَا وَ اَوۡحَیۡنَاۤ اِلَیۡہِمۡ فِعۡلَ الۡخَیۡرٰتِ وَ اِقَامَ الصَّلٰوۃِ وَ اِیۡتَآءَ الزَّکٰوۃِ ۚ وَ کَانُوۡا لَنَا عٰبِدِیۡنَ ﴿ۚۙ۷۳﴾
73. We made them leaders, guiding (people) by Our command. And We revealed to them the performance of virtuous deeds, the maintenance of prayers and the giving of charity (alms). And they were (always) Our devoted worshippers.
وجعلناهم أئمة يهدون بأمرنا وأوحينا إليهم فعل الخيرات وإقام الصلاة وإيتاء الزكاة وكانوا لنا عابدين
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 73)
وَ لُوۡطًا اٰتَیۡنٰہُ حُکۡمًا وَّ عِلۡمًا وَّ نَجَّیۡنٰہُ مِنَ الۡقَرۡیَۃِ الَّتِیۡ کَانَتۡ تَّعۡمَلُ الۡخَبٰٓئِثَ ؕ اِنَّہُمۡ کَانُوۡا قَوۡمَ سَوۡءٍ فٰسِقِیۡنَ ﴿ۙ۷۴﴾
74. And (as for) Lut, We bestowed upon him (the wisdom of) judgement and knowledge, and We delivered him from the town whose people used to commit acts of indecency. Indeed, they were shameless people with an evil character.
ولوطا آتيناه حكما وعلما ونجيناه من القرية التي كانت تعمل الخبائث إنهم كانوا قوم سوء فاسقين
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 74)
وَ نُوۡحًا اِذۡ نَادٰی مِنۡ قَبۡلُ فَاسۡتَجَبۡنَا لَہٗ فَنَجَّیۡنٰہُ وَ اَہۡلَہٗ مِنَ الۡکَرۡبِ الۡعَظِیۡمِ ﴿ۚ۷۶﴾
76. And (remember) Nuh (Noah), when he called (his Lord) long before. So We responded to him and rescued him and his family from the great disaster.
ونوحا إذ نادى من قبل فاستجبنا له فنجيناه وأهله من الكرب العظيم
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 76)
وَ نَصَرۡنٰہُ مِنَ الۡقَوۡمِ الَّذِیۡنَ کَذَّبُوۡا بِاٰیٰتِنَا ؕ اِنَّہُمۡ کَانُوۡا قَوۡمَ سَوۡءٍ فَاَغۡرَقۡنٰہُمۡ اَجۡمَعِیۡنَ ﴿۷۷﴾
77. And We helped him against the people who rejected Our Signs. Indeed, they were evil people. So We drowned them all.
ونصرناه من القوم الذين كذبوا بآياتنا إنهم كانوا قوم سوء فأغرقناهم أجمعين
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 77)
وَ دَاوٗدَ وَ سُلَیۡمٰنَ اِذۡ یَحۡکُمٰنِ فِی الۡحَرۡثِ اِذۡ نَفَشَتۡ فِیۡہِ غَنَمُ الۡقَوۡمِ ۚ وَ کُنَّا لِحُکۡمِہِمۡ شٰہِدِیۡنَ ﴿٭ۙ۷۸﴾
78. And (remember) Dawud (David) and Sulayman (Solomon) when they both gave the judgement concerning the crop field when the sheep of a tribe entered into it by night (and destroyed it). And We were witness to their decision.
وداوود وسليمان إذ يحكمان في الحرث إذ نفشت فيه غنم القوم وكنا لحكمهم شاهدين
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 78)
فَفَہَّمۡنٰہَا سُلَیۡمٰنَ ۚ وَ کُلًّا اٰتَیۡنَا حُکۡمًا وَّ عِلۡمًا ۫ وَّ سَخَّرۡنَا مَعَ دَاوٗدَ الۡجِبَالَ یُسَبِّحۡنَ وَ الطَّیۡرَ ؕ وَ کُنَّا فٰعِلِیۡنَ ﴿۷۹﴾
79. And We gave its better understanding to Sulayman (Solomon). And to all, We blessed sound judgement and knowledge. And We made the mountains and the birds subservient to glorify (Our praises) together with Dawud (David). And We were the doers (of such things).
ففهمناها سليمان وكلا آتينا حكما وعلما وسخرنا مع داوود الجبال يسبحن والطير وكنا فاعلين
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 79)
وَ عَلَّمۡنٰہُ صَنۡعَۃَ لَبُوۡسٍ لَّکُمۡ لِتُحۡصِنَکُمۡ مِّنۡۢ بَاۡسِکُمۡ ۚ فَہَلۡ اَنۡتُمۡ شٰکِرُوۡنَ ﴿۸۰﴾
80. And We taught him the art of making (armoured) garments for you to protect you in your battle. Will you then be grateful?
وعلمناه صنعة لبوس لكم لتحصنكم من بأسكم فهل أنتم شاكرون
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 80)
وَ لِسُلَیۡمٰنَ الرِّیۡحَ عَاصِفَۃً تَجۡرِیۡ بِاَمۡرِہٖۤ اِلَی الۡاَرۡضِ الَّتِیۡ بٰرَکۡنَا فِیۡہَا ؕ وَ کُنَّا بِکُلِّ شَیۡءٍ عٰلِمِیۡنَ ﴿۸۱﴾
81. And (We made) the stormy wind (subservient) for Sulayman (Solomon), which pursued its course by his command towards the land which We had blessed. And We are the knower of all things.
ولسليمان الريح عاصفة تجري بأمره إلى الأرض التي باركنا فيها وكنا بكل شيء عالمين
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 81)
وَ مِنَ الشَّیٰطِیۡنِ مَنۡ یَّغُوۡصُوۡنَ لَہٗ وَ یَعۡمَلُوۡنَ عَمَلًا دُوۡنَ ذٰلِکَ ۚ وَ کُنَّا لَہُمۡ حٰفِظِیۡنَ ﴿ۙ۸۲﴾
82. And among the devils (some were made subservient) who dove for him (into the seas) and accomplished tasks other than that. And We were watchful over them.
ومن الشياطين من يغوصون له ويعملون عملا دون ذلك وكنا لهم حافظين
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 82)
وَ اَیُّوۡبَ اِذۡ نَادٰی رَبَّہٗۤ اَنِّیۡ مَسَّنِیَ الضُّرُّ وَ اَنۡتَ اَرۡحَمُ الرّٰحِمِیۡنَ ﴿ۚۖ۸۳﴾
83. And (remember) Ayyub (Job) when he called his Lord: ‘Indeed suffering has befallen me, and You are the Most Merciful of the merciful.’
وأيوب إذ نادى ربه أني مسني الضر وأنت أرحم الراحمين
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 83)
فَاسۡتَجَبۡنَا لَہٗ فَکَشَفۡنَا مَا بِہٖ مِنۡ ضُرٍّ وَّ اٰتَیۡنٰہُ اَہۡلَہٗ وَ مِثۡلَہُمۡ مَّعَہُمۡ رَحۡمَۃً مِّنۡ عِنۡدِنَا وَ ذِکۡرٰی لِلۡعٰبِدِیۡنَ ﴿۸۴﴾
84. So We responded to him and removed his suffering. And We gave him (back) his family, along with others like them, as a mercy from Us and a reminder for the worshippers.
فاستجبنا له فكشفنا ما به من ضر وآتيناه أهله ومثلهم معهم رحمة من عندنا وذكرى للعابدين
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 84)
وَ ذَاالنُّوۡنِ اِذۡ ذَّہَبَ مُغَاضِبًا فَظَنَّ اَنۡ لَّنۡ نَّقۡدِرَ عَلَیۡہِ فَنَادٰی فِی الظُّلُمٰتِ اَنۡ لَّاۤ اِلٰہَ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡتَ سُبۡحٰنَکَ ٭ۖ اِنِّیۡ کُنۡتُ مِنَ الظّٰلِمِیۡنَ ﴿ۚۖ۸۷﴾
87. And (remember) Dhu al-Nun*, when he went away angrily, thinking that We would not put him to hardship (on his journey). Then he called (Us) in the darkness: ‘There is no god except You. Glory be to You! I have indeed been among those who wrong (their souls).’
* His name is Yunus b. Matta (Jonah), and he was the Prophet who was swallowed by a whale.
وذا النون إذ ذهب مغاضبا فظن أن لن نقدر عليه فنادى في الظلمات أن لا إله إلا أنت سبحانك إني كنت من الظالمين
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 87)
وَ زَکَرِیَّاۤ اِذۡ نَادٰی رَبَّہٗ رَبِّ لَا تَذَرۡنِیۡ فَرۡدًا وَّ اَنۡتَ خَیۡرُ الۡوٰرِثِیۡنَ ﴿ۚۖ۸۹﴾
89. And (remember) Zakariyya (Zachariah) when he called to his Lord: ‘My Lord! Do not leave me alone (i.e. childless), though You are the best of inheritors.’
وزكريا إذ نادى ربه رب لا تذرني فردا وأنت خير الوارثين
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 89)
فَاسۡتَجَبۡنَا لَہٗ ۫ وَ وَہَبۡنَا لَہٗ یَحۡیٰی وَ اَصۡلَحۡنَا لَہٗ زَوۡجَہٗ ؕاِنَّہُمۡ کَانُوۡا یُسٰرِعُوۡنَ فِی الۡخَیۡرٰتِ وَ یَدۡعُوۡنَنَا رَغَبًا وَّ رَہَبًا ؕوَ کَانُوۡا لَنَا خٰشِعِیۡنَ ﴿۹۰﴾
90. So We responded to him and gave him Yahya (John), and We cured (the infertility of) his wife for him. Indeed, they were always quick in (performing) good deeds. And they would supplicate Us, in hope and in fear, and they were always humble before Us.
فاستجبنا له ووهبنا له يحيى وأصلحنا له زوجه إنهم كانوا يسارعون في الخيرات ويدعوننا رغبا ورهبا وكانوا لنا خاشعين
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 90)
وَ الَّتِیۡۤ اَحۡصَنَتۡ فَرۡجَہَا فَنَفَخۡنَا فِیۡہَا مِنۡ رُّوۡحِنَا وَ جَعَلۡنٰہَا وَ ابۡنَہَاۤ اٰیَۃً لِّلۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ ﴿۹۱﴾
91. And (remember Mary) who guarded her chastity. So We breathed in her Our Spirit, and made her and her son a sign for all nations.
والتي أحصنت فرجها فنفخنا فيها من روحنا وجعلناها وابنها آية للعالمين
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 91)
فَمَنۡ یَّعۡمَلۡ مِنَ الصّٰلِحٰتِ وَ ہُوَ مُؤۡمِنٌ فَلَا کُفۡرَانَ لِسَعۡیِہٖ ۚ وَ اِنَّا لَہٗ کٰتِبُوۡنَ ﴿۹۴﴾
94. So, whoever does righteous deeds and is a believer, there shall be no denial of his effort, and We are indeed writing (it) down for him.
فمن يعمل من الصالحات وهو مؤمن فلا كفران لسعيه وإنا له كاتبون
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 94)
وَ اقۡتَرَبَ الۡوَعۡدُ الۡحَقُّ فَاِذَا ہِیَ شَاخِصَۃٌ اَبۡصَارُ الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا ؕ یٰوَیۡلَنَا قَدۡ کُنَّا فِیۡ غَفۡلَۃٍ مِّنۡ ہٰذَا بَلۡ کُنَّا ظٰلِمِیۡنَ ﴿۹۷﴾
97. and the true promise draws near (to its fulfilment), behold, the eyes of the disbelievers shall stare in horror, (and they will cry out:) ‘Woe to us! We have certainly been heedless to this (day)! Rather, we have been wrongdoers!’
واقترب الوعد الحق فإذا هي شاخصة أبصار الذين كفروا يا ويلنا قد كنا في غفلة من هذا بل كنا ظالمين
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 97)
اِنَّ الَّذِیۡنَ سَبَقَتۡ لَہُمۡ مِّنَّا الۡحُسۡنٰۤی ۙ اُولٰٓئِکَ عَنۡہَا مُبۡعَدُوۡنَ ﴿۱۰۱﴾ۙ
101. Indeed, those for whom (the promise of) the best reward has gone forth from Us, it is they who will be kept away from it (i.e. Hell).
إن الذين سبقت لهم منا الحسنى أولئك عنها مبعدون
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 101)
لَا یَحۡزُنُہُمُ الۡفَزَعُ الۡاَکۡبَرُ وَ تَتَلَقّٰہُمُ الۡمَلٰٓئِکَۃُ ؕ ہٰذَا یَوۡمُکُمُ الَّذِیۡ کُنۡتُمۡ تُوۡعَدُوۡنَ ﴿۱۰۳﴾
103. The Greatest Horror will not disturb them, and the angels will greet them, (saying:) ‘This is your Day, which you were promised.’
لا يحزنهم الفزع الأكبر وتتلقاهم الملائكة هذا يومكم الذي كنتم توعدون
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 103)
یَوۡمَ نَطۡوِی السَّمَآءَ کَطَیِّ السِّجِلِّ لِلۡکُتُبِ ؕ کَمَا بَدَاۡنَاۤ اَوَّلَ خَلۡقٍ نُّعِیۡدُہٗ ؕ وَعۡدًا عَلَیۡنَا ؕ اِنَّا کُنَّا فٰعِلِیۡنَ ﴿۱۰۴﴾
104. On that Day, We shall roll up the sky like the rolling of writing scrolls. As We began the first creation, so shall We bring it back—a promise (binding) upon Us. Indeed, We are going to do it.
يوم نطوي السماء كطي السجل للكتب كما بدأنا أول خلق نعيده وعدا علينا إنا كنا فاعلين
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 104)
وَ لَقَدۡ کَتَبۡنَا فِی الزَّبُوۡرِ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ الذِّکۡرِ اَنَّ الۡاَرۡضَ یَرِثُہَا عِبَادِیَ الصّٰلِحُوۡنَ ﴿۱۰۵﴾
105. And indeed, We wrote in al-Zabur (the Psalms) after the Reminder that My pious servants shall inherit the earth (in the Hereafter).
ولقد كتبنا في الزبور من بعد الذكر أن الأرض يرثها عبادي الصالحون
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 105)
فَاِنۡ تَوَلَّوۡا فَقُلۡ اٰذَنۡتُکُمۡ عَلٰی سَوَآءٍ ؕ وَ اِنۡ اَدۡرِیۡۤ اَقَرِیۡبٌ اَمۡ بَعِیۡدٌ مَّا تُوۡعَدُوۡنَ ﴿۱۰۹﴾
109. But if they turn away, say: ‘I have proclaimed the message to you all equally. And I do not know (of my own accord) if what you have been promised is near or far.
فإن تولوا فقل آذنتكم على سواء وإن أدري أقريب أم بعيد ما توعدون
(الْأَنْبِيَآء، 21 : 109)
قٰلَ رَبِّ احۡکُمۡ بِالۡحَقِّ ؕ وَ رَبُّنَا الرَّحۡمٰنُ الۡمُسۡتَعَانُ عَلٰی مَا تَصِفُوۡنَ ﴿۱۱۲﴾٪
