In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the All-Merciful
اَلۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰہِ الَّذِیۡ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الۡاَرۡضَ وَ جَعَلَ الظُّلُمٰتِ وَ النُّوۡرَ ۬ؕ ثُمَّ الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا بِرَبِّہِمۡ یَعۡدِلُوۡنَ ﴿۱﴾
1. All praise belongs to Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth and made (manifold) darknesses and the light. Yet the disbelievers equate (others) to their Lord.
الحمد لله الذي خلق السماوات والأرض وجعل الظلمات والنور ثم الذين كفروا بربهم يعدلون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 1)
ہُوَ الَّذِیۡ خَلَقَکُمۡ مِّنۡ طِیۡنٍ ثُمَّ قَضٰۤی اَجَلًا ؕ وَ اَجَلٌ مُّسَمًّی عِنۡدَہٗ ثُمَّ اَنۡتُمۡ تَمۡتَرُوۡنَ ﴿۲﴾
2. He is the One Who created you from clay and then determined a term (of your life). (The knowledge of) the specified time (for your death) is with Him, yet you continue to doubt.
هو الذي خلقكم من طين ثم قضى أجلا وأجل مسمى عنده ثم أنتم تمترون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 2)
وَ ہُوَ اللّٰہُ فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ فِی الۡاَرۡضِ ؕ یَعۡلَمُ سِرَّکُمۡ وَ جَہۡرَکُمۡ وَ یَعۡلَمُ مَا تَکۡسِبُوۡنَ ﴿۳﴾
3. And He is Allah in the heavens and on the earth; He knows your secret (thoughts) and your open (words and acts). And He knows what you earn.
وهو الله في السماوات وفي الأرض يعلم سركم وجهركم ويعلم ما تكسبون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 3)
فَقَدۡ کَذَّبُوۡا بِالۡحَقِّ لَمَّا جَآءَہُمۡ ؕ فَسَوۡفَ یَاۡتِیۡہِمۡ اَنۡۢبٰٓؤُا مَا کَانُوۡا بِہٖ یَسۡتَہۡزِءُوۡنَ ﴿۵﴾
5. They indeed denied the truth when it came to them, but soon, the news will come to them regarding what they have been mocking.
فقد كذبوا بالحق لما جاءهم فسوف يأتيهم أنباء ما كانوا به يستهزؤون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 5)
اَلَمۡ یَرَوۡا کَمۡ اَہۡلَکۡنَا مِنۡ قَبۡلِہِمۡ مِّنۡ قَرۡنٍ مَّکَّنّٰہُمۡ فِی الۡاَرۡضِ مَا لَمۡ نُمَکِّنۡ لَّکُمۡ وَ اَرۡسَلۡنَا السَّمَآءَ عَلَیۡہِمۡ مِّدۡرَارًا ۪ وَّ جَعَلۡنَا الۡاَنۡہٰرَ تَجۡرِیۡ مِنۡ تَحۡتِہِمۡ فَاَہۡلَکۡنٰہُمۡ بِذُنُوۡبِہِمۡ وَ اَنۡشَاۡنَا مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِہِمۡ قَرۡنًا اٰخَرِیۡنَ ﴿۶﴾
6. Have they not realised how many generations We have destroyed before them? We had established them in the land in a way that We have never established you. And We sent (from the sky) abundant rains upon them and made rivers flow beneath them. Then, We destroyed them for their sins and brought about another generation after them.
ألم يروا كم أهلكنا من قبلهم من قرن مكناهم في الأرض ما لم نمكن لكم وأرسلنا السماء عليهم مدرارا وجعلنا الأنهار تجري من تحتهم فأهلكناهم بذنوبهم وأنشأنا من بعدهم قرنا آخرين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 6)
وَ لَوۡ نَزَّلۡنَا عَلَیۡکَ کِتٰبًا فِیۡ قِرۡطَاسٍ فَلَمَسُوۡہُ بِاَیۡدِیۡہِمۡ لَقَالَ الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡۤا اِنۡ ہٰذَاۤ اِلَّا سِحۡرٌ مُّبِیۡنٌ ﴿۷﴾
7. (Esteemed Prophet!) Even if We had revealed to you a Book written on parchment, and they had touched it with their own hands, the disbelievers would (still) have said: ‘This is nothing but clear magic.’
ولو نزلنا عليك كتابا في قرطاس فلمسوه بأيديهم لقال الذين كفروا إن هـذا إلا سحر مبين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 7)
وَ قَالُوۡا لَوۡ لَاۤ اُنۡزِلَ عَلَیۡہِ مَلَکٌ ؕ وَ لَوۡ اَنۡزَلۡنَا مَلَکًا لَّقُضِیَ الۡاَمۡرُ ثُمَّ لَا یُنۡظَرُوۡنَ ﴿۸﴾
8. And they would say: ‘Why has an angel not been (physically) sent down to (support) him?’ But had We sent down an angel, the matter would have certainly been decreed (at once), and they would have never been given respite.
وقالوا لولا أنزل عليه ملك ولو أنزلنا ملكا لقضي الأمر ثم لا ينظرون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 8)
وَ لَوۡ جَعَلۡنٰہُ مَلَکًا لَّجَعَلۡنٰہُ رَجُلًا وَّ لَلَبَسۡنَا عَلَیۡہِمۡ مَّا یَلۡبِسُوۡنَ ﴿۹﴾
9. And if We had sent an angel himself (as a messenger), We would have surely sent him as a man, and (even in that case) We would have put them in the same doubt which they already are in (i.e. being confused over his physical appearance, they would say: ‘He is just a man like us.’)
ولو جعلناه ملكا لجعلناه رجلا وللبسنا عليهم ما يلبسون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 9)
وَ لَقَدِ اسۡتُہۡزِیٴَ بِرُسُلٍ مِّنۡ قَبۡلِکَ فَحَاقَ بِالَّذِیۡنَ سَخِرُوۡا مِنۡہُمۡ مَّا کَانُوۡا بِہٖ یَسۡتَہۡزِءُوۡنَ ﴿٪۱۰﴾
10. (Other) messengers had already been mocked before you (Esteemed Prophet). Then, those who mocked them were besieged by what they used to ridicule.
ولقد استهزىء برسل من قبلك فحاق بالذين سخروا منهم ما كانوا به يستهزؤون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 10)
قُلۡ لِّمَنۡ مَّا فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الۡاَرۡضِ ؕ قُلۡ لِّلّٰہِ ؕ کَتَبَ عَلٰی نَفۡسِہِ الرَّحۡمَۃَ ؕ لَیَجۡمَعَنَّکُمۡ اِلٰی یَوۡمِ الۡقِیٰمَۃِ لَا رَیۡبَ فِیۡہِ ؕ اَلَّذِیۡنَ خَسِرُوۡۤا اَنۡفُسَہُمۡ فَہُمۡ لَا یُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ ﴿۱۲﴾
12. Say: ‘To whom belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth?’ Say: ‘To Allah.’ He has prescribed mercy upon Himself (as a gracious obligation). He will surely gather you on the Day of Resurrection, in which there is no doubt. Those who have ruined themselves will never believe.
قل لمن ما في السماوات والأرض قل لله كتب على نفسه الرحمة ليجمعنكم إلى يوم القيامة لا ريب فيه الذين خسروا أنفسهم فهم لا يؤمنون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 12)
قُلۡ اَغَیۡرَ اللّٰہِ اَتَّخِذُ وَلِیًّا فَاطِرِ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الۡاَرۡضِ وَ ہُوَ یُطۡعِمُ وَ لَا یُطۡعَمُ ؕ قُلۡ اِنِّیۡۤ اُمِرۡتُ اَنۡ اَکُوۡنَ اَوَّلَ مَنۡ اَسۡلَمَ وَ لَا تَکُوۡنَنَّ مِنَ الۡمُشۡرِکِیۡنَ ﴿۱۴﴾
14. Say: ‘Shall I take (someone) as guardian other than Allah, the Originator of the heavens and the earth, Who feeds and is not fed,’ Say: ‘I have been commanded to be the first who submits himself (to Allah). And you should not be among the polytheists.’
قل أغير الله أتخذ وليا فاطر السماوات والأرض وهو يطعم ولا يطعم قل إني أمرت أن أكون أول من أسلم ولا تكونن من المشركين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 14)
وَ اِنۡ یَّمۡسَسۡکَ اللّٰہُ بِضُرٍّ فَلَا کَاشِفَ لَہٗۤ اِلَّا ہُوَ ؕ وَ اِنۡ یَّمۡسَسۡکَ بِخَیۡرٍ فَہُوَ عَلٰی کُلِّ شَیۡءٍ قَدِیۡرٌ ﴿۱۷﴾
17. And if Allah afflicts you with some suffering, no one can remove it except Him, and if He bestows some good upon you, then He is All-Capable of everything.
وإن يمسسك الله بضر فلا كاشف له إلا هو وإن يمسسك بخير فهو على كل شيء قدير
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 17)
قُلۡ اَیُّ شَیۡءٍ اَکۡبَرُ شَہَادَۃً ؕ قُلِ اللّٰہُ ۟ۙ شَہِیۡدٌۢ بَیۡنِیۡ وَ بَیۡنَکُمۡ ۟ وَ اُوۡحِیَ اِلَیَّ ہٰذَا الۡقُرۡاٰنُ لِاُنۡذِرَکُمۡ بِہٖ وَ مَنۡۢ بَلَغَ ؕ اَئِنَّکُمۡ لَتَشۡہَدُوۡنَ اَنَّ مَعَ اللّٰہِ اٰلِہَۃً اُخۡرٰی ؕ قُلۡ لَّاۤ اَشۡہَدُ ۚ قُلۡ اِنَّمَا ہُوَ اِلٰہٌ وَّاحِدٌ وَّ اِنَّنِیۡ بَرِیۡٓءٌ مِّمَّا تُشۡرِکُوۡنَ ﴿ۘ۱۹﴾
19. Say: ‘What thing is greatest as a witness?’ Say: ‘Allah! (He is) witness between me and you. And this Qur’an has been revealed to me that I may warn you through it, and whomever it may reach. Do you truly testify that there are other gods besides Allah?’ Say: ‘I do not testify.’ Say: ‘He is only One God, and I indeed disown whatever you associate (with Him).’
قل أي شيء أكبر شهادة قل الله شهيد بيني وبينكم وأوحي إلي هذا القرآن لأنذركم به ومن بلغ أئنكم لتشهدون أن مع الله آلهة أخرى قل لا أشهد قل إنما هو إلـه واحد وإنني بريء مما تشركون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 19)
اَلَّذِیۡنَ اٰتَیۡنٰہُمُ الۡکِتٰبَ یَعۡرِفُوۡنَہٗ کَمَا یَعۡرِفُوۡنَ اَبۡنَآءَہُمۡ ۘ اَلَّذِیۡنَ خَسِرُوۡۤا اَنۡفُسَہُمۡ فَہُمۡ لَا یُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ ﴿٪۲۰﴾
20. Those to whom We have given the Book recognise him (i.e. the Messenger (blessings and peace be upon him) just as they recognise their sons. Those who have ruined their souls will never believe.
الذين آتيناهم الكتاب يعرفونه كما يعرفون أبناءهم الذين خسروا أنفسهم فهم لا يؤمنون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 20)
وَ مَنۡ اَظۡلَمُ مِمَّنِ افۡتَرٰی عَلَی اللّٰہِ کَذِبًا اَوۡ کَذَّبَ بِاٰیٰتِہٖ ؕ اِنَّہٗ لَا یُفۡلِحُ الظّٰلِمُوۡنَ ﴿۲۱﴾
21. Who is more unjust than the one who fabricates a lie against Allah or rejects His revelations? Indeed, the unjust will not prosper.
ومن أظلم ممن افترى على الله كذبا أو كذب بآياته إنه لا يفلح الظالمون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 21)
وَ یَوۡمَ نَحۡشُرُہُمۡ جَمِیۡعًا ثُمَّ نَقُوۡلُ لِلَّذِیۡنَ اَشۡرَکُوۡۤا اَیۡنَ شُرَکَآؤُکُمُ الَّذِیۡنَ کُنۡتُمۡ تَزۡعُمُوۡنَ ﴿۲۲﴾
22. On the Day We assemble them all together, We shall say to those who ascribed partners (to Allah): ‘Where are your partners whom you have been asserting?’
ويوم نحشرهم جميعا ثم نقول للذين أشركوا أين شركآؤكم الذين كنتم تزعمون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 22)
وَ مِنۡہُمۡ مَّنۡ یَّسۡتَمِعُ اِلَیۡکَ ۚ وَ جَعَلۡنَا عَلٰی قُلُوۡبِہِمۡ اَکِنَّۃً اَنۡ یَّفۡقَہُوۡہُ وَ فِیۡۤ اٰذَانِہِمۡ وَقۡرًا ؕ وَ اِنۡ یَّرَوۡا کُلَّ اٰیَۃٍ لَّا یُؤۡمِنُوۡا بِہَا ؕ حَتّٰۤی اِذَا جَآءُوۡکَ یُجَادِلُوۡنَکَ یَقُوۡلُ الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡۤا اِنۡ ہٰذَاۤ اِلَّاۤ اَسَاطِیۡرُ الۡاَوَّلِیۡنَ ﴿۲۵﴾
25. Among them are those who (appear to) listen to you, but We have placed covers over their hearts, lest they should understand it, and (there is) deafness in their ears. Even if they were to see every sign, they would (still) not believe in it. When these disbelievers come to you to dispute with you, they say: ‘This (Qur’an) is nothing but the fictions of the ancients.’
ومنهم من يستمع إليك وجعلنا على قلوبهم أكنة أن يفقهوه وفي آذانهم وقرا وإن يروا كل آية لا يؤمنوا بها حتى إذا جآؤوك يجادلونك يقول الذين كفروا إن هذآ إلا أساطير الأولين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 25)
وَ ہُمۡ یَنۡہَوۡنَ عَنۡہُ وَ یَنۡـَٔوۡنَ عَنۡہُ ۚ وَ اِنۡ یُّہۡلِکُوۡنَ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡفُسَہُمۡ وَ مَا یَشۡعُرُوۡنَ ﴿۲۶﴾
26. And they prevent (others) from (following) him and (also) keep themselves away from him. They destroy none but themselves, though they fail to realise this.
وهم ينهون عنه وينأون عنه وإن يهلكون إلا أنفسهم وما يشعرون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 26)
وَ لَوۡ تَرٰۤی اِذۡ وُقِفُوۡا عَلَی النَّارِ فَقَالُوۡا یٰلَیۡتَنَا نُرَدُّ وَ لَا نُکَذِّبَ بِاٰیٰتِ رَبِّنَا وَ نَکُوۡنَ مِنَ الۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ ﴿۲۷﴾
27. Only if you could see when they will be detained before the Fire! They will say: ‘Oh! If only we were sent back (to the world), we would not reject our Lord’s communications, and we would be among the believers!’
ولو ترى إذ وقفوا على النار فقالوا يا ليتنا نرد ولا نكذب بآيات ربنا ونكون من المؤمنين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 27)
بَلۡ بَدَا لَہُمۡ مَّا کَانُوۡا یُخۡفُوۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلُ ؕ وَ لَوۡ رُدُّوۡا لَعَادُوۡا لِمَا نُہُوۡا عَنۡہُ وَ اِنَّہُمۡ لَکٰذِبُوۡنَ ﴿۲۸﴾
28. Instead, what they used to hide before has become evident to them. Even if they were sent back, they would (again) return to what they were forbidden. And most surely, they are liars.
بل بدا لهم ما كانوا يخفون من قبل ولو ردوا لعادوا لما نهوا عنه وإنهم لكاذبون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 28)
وَ لَوۡ تَرٰۤی اِذۡ وُقِفُوۡا عَلٰی رَبِّہِمۡ ؕ قَالَ اَلَیۡسَ ہٰذَا بِالۡحَقِّ ؕ قَالُوۡا بَلٰی وَ رَبِّنَا ؕ قَالَ فَذُوۡقُوا الۡعَذَابَ بِمَا کُنۡتُمۡ تَکۡفُرُوۡنَ ﴿٪۳۰﴾
30. If (only) you could see when they will be made to stand before their Lord! He will say: ‘Is this not the truth?’ They will say: ‘Yes, by our Lord.’ He will say: ‘So taste the punishment because you used to disbelieve.’
ولو ترى إذ وقفوا على ربهم قال أليس هذا بالحق قالوا بلى وربنا قال فذوقوا العذاب بما كنتم تكفرون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 30)
قَدۡ خَسِرَ الَّذِیۡنَ کَذَّبُوۡا بِلِقَآءِ اللّٰہِ ؕ حَتّٰۤی اِذَا جَآءَتۡہُمُ السَّاعَۃُ بَغۡتَۃً قَالُوۡا یٰحَسۡرَتَنَا عَلٰی مَا فَرَّطۡنَا فِیۡہَا ۙ وَ ہُمۡ یَحۡمِلُوۡنَ اَوۡزَارَہُمۡ عَلٰی ظُہُوۡرِہِمۡ ؕ اَلَا سَآءَ مَا یَزِرُوۡنَ ﴿۳۱﴾
31. Indeed, lost are those who deny the meeting with Allah. When the Hour takes them suddenly, they will say: ‘Alas for us, for we did not pay regard to this (Hour).’ And they will bear their burdens upon their backs. Indeed, terrible is what they bear!
قد خسر الذين كذبوا بلقاء الله حتى إذا جاءتهم الساعة بغتة قالوا يا حسرتنا على ما فرطنا فيها وهم يحملون أوزارهم على ظهورهم ألا ساء ما يزرون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 31)
وَ مَا الۡحَیٰوۃُ الدُّنۡیَاۤ اِلَّا لَعِبٌ وَّ لَہۡوٌ ؕ وَ لَلدَّارُ الۡاٰخِرَۃُ خَیۡرٌ لِّلَّذِیۡنَ یَتَّقُوۡنَ ؕ اَفَلَا تَعۡقِلُوۡنَ ﴿۳۲﴾
32. The life of this world is nothing but game and amusement. And the abode of the Hereafter is better for those who are God-conscious. Do you not understand?
وما الحياة الدنيا إلا لعب ولهو وللدار الآخرة خير للذين يتقون أفلا تعقلون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 32)
قَدۡ نَعۡلَمُ اِنَّہٗ لَیَحۡزُنُکَ الَّذِیۡ یَقُوۡلُوۡنَ فَاِنَّہُمۡ لَا یُکَذِّبُوۡنَکَ وَ لٰکِنَّ الظّٰلِمِیۡنَ بِاٰیٰتِ اللّٰہِ یَجۡحَدُوۡنَ ﴿۳۳﴾
33. (Esteemed Prophet!) We surely know that what they say grieves you. Yet, they are not denying you (only)—but these are the signs of Allah that the wrongdoers deny.
قد نعلم إنه ليحزنك الذي يقولون فإنهم لا يكذبونك ولكن الظالمين بآيات الله يجحدون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 33)
وَ لَقَدۡ کُذِّبَتۡ رُسُلٌ مِّنۡ قَبۡلِکَ فَصَبَرُوۡا عَلٰی مَا کُذِّبُوۡا وَ اُوۡذُوۡا حَتّٰۤی اَتٰہُمۡ نَصۡرُنَا ۚ وَ لَا مُبَدِّلَ لِکَلِمٰتِ اللّٰہِ ۚ وَ لَقَدۡ جَآءَکَ مِنۡ نَّبَاِی الۡمُرۡسَلِیۡنَ ﴿۳۴﴾
34. Surely messengers were rejected before you, but they endured patiently under the denial and persecution till Our help came to them. No one can change the Words of Allah, and there have certainly come to you some accounts of the messengers.
ولقد كذبت رسل من قبلك فصبروا على ما كذبوا وأوذوا حتى أتاهم نصرنا ولا مبدل لكلمات الله ولقد جاءك من نبإ المرسلين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 34)
وَ اِنۡ کَانَ کَبُرَ عَلَیۡکَ اِعۡرَاضُہُمۡ فَاِنِ اسۡتَطَعۡتَ اَنۡ تَبۡتَغِیَ نَفَقًا فِی الۡاَرۡضِ اَوۡ سُلَّمًا فِی السَّمَآءِ فَتَاۡتِیَہُمۡ بِاٰیَۃٍ ؕ وَ لَوۡ شَآءَ اللّٰہُ لَجَمَعَہُمۡ عَلَی الۡہُدٰی فَلَا تَکُوۡنَنَّ مِنَ الۡجٰہِلِیۡنَ ﴿۳۵﴾
35. And if their turning away is distressing to you, then find, if you can, a tunnel (to go down) into the earth or a ladder (to climb up) into heaven and bring them some (exceptional) sign (even then they will not believe). Had Allah willed, He would certainly have gathered them all upon guidance. So (because of your overwhelming concern and compassion for them), do not be unaware (of their ill fortune).
وإن كان كبر عليك إعراضهم فإن استطعت أن تبتغي نفقا في الأرض أو سلما في السماء فتأتيهم بآية ولو شاء الله لجمعهم على الهدى فلا تكونن من الجاهلين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 35)
اِنَّمَا یَسۡتَجِیۡبُ الَّذِیۡنَ یَسۡمَعُوۡنَ ؕؔ وَ الۡمَوۡتٰی یَبۡعَثُہُمُ اللّٰہُ ثُمَّ اِلَیۡہِ یُرۡجَعُوۡنَ ﴿ ۳۶﴾
36. Only those who listen (sincerely) will respond (to you). As for the dead, Allah will resurrect them, and to Him, they shall be returned.
إنما يستجيب الذين يسمعون والموتى يبعثهم الله ثم إليه يرجعون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 36)
وَ قَالُوۡا لَوۡ لَا نُزِّلَ عَلَیۡہِ اٰیَۃٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّہٖ ؕ قُلۡ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ قَادِرٌ عَلٰۤی اَنۡ یُّنَزِّلَ اٰیَۃً وَّ لٰکِنَّ اَکۡثَرَ ہُمۡ لَا یَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿۳۷﴾
37. They say: ‘Why has a (visible) sign not been sent down to him from his Lord?’ Say: ‘Allah is indeed capable of sending down a sign, but most of them do not know (the secrets behind His actions).’
وقالوا لولا نزل عليه آية من ربه قل إن الله قادر على أن ينزل آية ولـكن أكثرهم لا يعلمون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 37)
وَ مَا مِنۡ دَآبَّۃٍ فِی الۡاَرۡضِ وَ لَا طٰٓئِرٍ یَّطِیۡرُ بِجَنَاحَیۡہِ اِلَّاۤ اُمَمٌ اَمۡثَالُکُمۡ ؕ مَا فَرَّطۡنَا فِی الۡکِتٰبِ مِنۡ شَیۡءٍ ثُمَّ اِلٰی رَبِّہِمۡ یُحۡشَرُوۡنَ ﴿۳۸﴾
38. There is no walking (or crawling) creature on the earth, nor a bird that flies with its wings, but they are species like yourselves (in several traits). We have not omitted anything in the Book. Then, they will be gathered to their Lord (in the end).
وما من دآبة في الأرض ولا طائر يطير بجناحيه إلا أمم أمثالكم ما فرطنا في الكتاب من شيء ثم إلى ربهم يحشرون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 38)
وَ الَّذِیۡنَ کَذَّبُوۡا بِاٰیٰتِنَا صُمٌّ وَّ بُکۡمٌ فِی الظُّلُمٰتِ ؕ مَنۡ یَّشَاِ اللّٰہُ یُضۡلِلۡہُ ؕ وَ مَنۡ یَّشَاۡ یَجۡعَلۡہُ عَلٰی صِرَاطٍ مُّسۡتَقِیۡمٍ ﴿۳۹﴾
39. And those who reject Our revelations are deaf and dumb (and are trapped) in (manifold) darkness. And Allah leaves whomever He wills to stray and guides whomever He pleases to the straight path.
والذين كذبوا بآياتنا صم وبكم في الظلمات من يشإ الله يضلله ومن يشأ يجعله على صراط مستقيم
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 39)
قُلۡ اَرَءَیۡتَکُمۡ اِنۡ اَتٰىکُمۡ عَذَابُ اللّٰہِ اَوۡ اَتَتۡکُمُ السَّاعَۃُ اَغَیۡرَ اللّٰہِ تَدۡعُوۡنَ ۚ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ صٰدِقِیۡنَ ﴿۴۰﴾
40. Say (to them): ‘What do you think: If Allah’s punishment comes upon you, or the Hour overtakes you, will you supplicate somebody other than Allah, if you are truthful?’
قل أرأيتكم إن أتاكم عذاب الله أو أتتكم الساعة أغير الله تدعون إن كنتم صادقين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 40)
بَلۡ اِیَّاہُ تَدۡعُوۡنَ فَیَکۡشِفُ مَا تَدۡعُوۡنَ اِلَیۡہِ اِنۡ شَآءَ وَ تَنۡسَوۡنَ مَا تُشۡرِکُوۡنَ ﴿٪۴۱﴾
41. Instead, it is only Him you will supplicate, and if He wills, He will remove (the affliction) that had caused you to supplicate Him, and you will forget whatever partners you ascribe to Him.
بل إياه تدعون فيكشف ما تدعون إليه إن شاء وتنسون ما تشركون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 41)
وَ لَقَدۡ اَرۡسَلۡنَاۤ اِلٰۤی اُمَمٍ مِّنۡ قَبۡلِکَ فَاَخَذۡنٰہُمۡ بِالۡبَاۡسَآءِ وَ الضَّرَّآءِ لَعَلَّہُمۡ یَتَضَرَّعُوۡنَ ﴿۴۲﴾
42. We had indeed sent (messengers) to (different) nations before you, then We afflicted them with hardships and sufferings so that they might humble themselves (to Us).
ولقد أرسلنآ إلى أمم من قبلك فأخذناهم بالبأساء والضراء لعلهم يتضرعون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 42)
فَلَوۡلَاۤ اِذۡ جَآءَہُمۡ بَاۡسُنَا تَضَرَّعُوۡا وَ لٰکِنۡ قَسَتۡ قُلُوۡبُہُمۡ وَ زَیَّنَ لَہُمُ الشَّیۡطٰنُ مَا کَانُوۡا یَعۡمَلُوۡنَ ﴿۴۳﴾
43. So why did they not humble themselves when our punishment overtook them? Instead, their hearts had hardened, and Satan made what they used to do alluring to them.
فلولا إذ جاءهم بأسنا تضرعوا ولـكن قست قلوبهم وزين لهم الشيطان ما كانوا يعملون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 43)
فَلَمَّا نَسُوۡا مَا ذُکِّرُوۡا بِہٖ فَتَحۡنَا عَلَیۡہِمۡ اَبۡوَابَ کُلِّ شَیۡءٍ ؕ حَتّٰۤی اِذَا فَرِحُوۡا بِمَاۤ اُوۡتُوۡۤا اَخَذۡنٰہُمۡ بَغۡتَۃً فَاِذَا ہُمۡ مُّبۡلِسُوۡنَ ﴿۴۴﴾
44. So when they forgot what they had been reminded of, We opened the gates of all (good) things for them (to flourish abundantly), until, when they rejoiced in what they were given, We seized them suddenly (with terrible punishment), and they were struck with utter despair.
فلما نسوا ما ذكروا به فتحنا عليهم أبواب كل شيء حتى إذا فرحوا بما أوتوا أخذناهم بغتة فإذا هم مبلسون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 44)
فَقُطِعَ دَابِرُ الۡقَوۡمِ الَّذِیۡنَ ظَلَمُوۡا ؕ وَ الۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ ﴿۴۵﴾
45. Thus, the (last) remnants of those people who were unjust were cut off. And all praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of all worlds.
فقطع دابر القوم الذين ظلموا والحمد لله رب العالمين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 45)
قُلۡ اَرَءَیۡتُمۡ اِنۡ اَخَذَ اللّٰہُ سَمۡعَکُمۡ وَ اَبۡصَارَکُمۡ وَ خَتَمَ عَلٰی قُلُوۡبِکُمۡ مَّنۡ اِلٰہٌ غَیۡرُ اللّٰہِ یَاۡتِیۡکُمۡ بِہٖ ؕ اُنۡظُرۡ کَیۡفَ نُصَرِّفُ الۡاٰیٰتِ ثُمَّ ہُمۡ یَصۡدِفُوۡنَ ﴿۴۶﴾
46. Say: ‘What do you think: If Allah takes away your hearing and your sight and seals your hearts, which god besides Allah can bring it (back) to you?’ Look how We explain Our revelations in various ways! Yet they still turn away.
قل أرأيتم إن أخذ الله سمعكم وأبصاركم وختم على قلوبكم من إلـه غير الله يأتيكم به انظر كيف نصرف الآيات ثم هم يصدفون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 46)
قُلۡ اَرَءَیۡتَکُمۡ اِنۡ اَتٰىکُمۡ عَذَابُ اللّٰہِ بَغۡتَۃً اَوۡ جَہۡرَۃً ہَلۡ یُہۡلَکُ اِلَّا الۡقَوۡمُ الظّٰلِمُوۡنَ ﴿۴۷﴾
47. Say: ‘What do you think: If Allah’s punishment comes to you suddenly or openly, would anyone be destroyed except the wrongdoing people?’
قل أرأيتكم إن أتاكم عذاب الله بغتة أو جهرة هل يهلك إلا القوم الظالمون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 47)
وَ مَا نُرۡسِلُ الۡمُرۡسَلِیۡنَ اِلَّا مُبَشِّرِیۡنَ وَ مُنۡذِرِیۡنَ ۚ فَمَنۡ اٰمَنَ وَ اَصۡلَحَ فَلَا خَوۡفٌ عَلَیۡہِمۡ وَ لَا ہُمۡ یَحۡزَنُوۡنَ ﴿۴۸﴾
48. We do not send the messengers except as bearers of glad tidings and as warners. As for those who become believers and righteous, there shall be no fear on them, nor shall they grieve.
وما نرسل المرسلين إلا مبشرين ومنذرين فمن آمن وأصلح فلا خوف عليهم ولا هم يحزنون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 48)
قُلۡ لَّاۤ اَقُوۡلُ لَکُمۡ عِنۡدِیۡ خَزَآئِنُ اللّٰہِ وَ لَاۤ اَعۡلَمُ الۡغَیۡبَ وَ لَاۤ اَقُوۡلُ لَکُمۡ اِنِّیۡ مَلَکٌ ۚ اِنۡ اَتَّبِعُ اِلَّا مَا یُوۡحٰۤی اِلَیَّ ؕ قُلۡ ہَلۡ یَسۡتَوِی الۡاَعۡمٰی وَ الۡبَصِیۡرُ ؕ اَفَلَا تَتَفَکَّرُوۡنَ ﴿٪۵۰﴾
50. Say (to the disbelievers): ‘I do not say to you that I possess the treasures of Allah, nor do I know the Unseen myself, nor do I say to you that I am an angel. I only follow what is revealed to me.’ Say: ‘Can the blind and the seeing be equal? Will you not then reflect?’
قل لا أقول لكم عندي خزآئن الله ولا أعلم الغيب ولا أقول لكم إني ملك إن أتبع إلا ما يوحى إلي قل هل يستوي الأعمى والبصير أفلا تتفكرون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 50)
وَ اَنۡذِرۡ بِہِ الَّذِیۡنَ یَخَافُوۡنَ اَنۡ یُّحۡشَرُوۡۤا اِلٰی رَبِّہِمۡ لَیۡسَ لَہُمۡ مِّنۡ دُوۡنِہٖ وَلِیٌّ وَّ لَا شَفِیۡعٌ لَّعَلَّہُمۡ یَتَّقُوۡنَ ﴿۵۱﴾
51. And warn with this (Qur’an) those fearful of being gathered towards their Lord—when they shall have no guardian except Him nor any intercessor; perhaps they may be God-conscious.
وأنذر به الذين يخافون أن يحشروا إلى ربهم ليس لهم من دونه ولي ولا شفيع لعلهم يتقون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 51)
وَ لَا تَطۡرُدِ الَّذِیۡنَ یَدۡعُوۡنَ رَبَّہُمۡ بِالۡغَدٰوۃِ وَ الۡعَشِیِّ یُرِیۡدُوۡنَ وَجۡہَہٗ ؕ مَا عَلَیۡکَ مِنۡ حِسَابِہِمۡ مِّنۡ شَیۡءٍ وَّ مَا مِنۡ حِسَابِکَ عَلَیۡہِمۡ مِّنۡ شَیۡءٍ فَتَطۡرُدَہُمۡ فَتَکُوۡنَ مِنَ الظّٰلِمِیۡنَ ﴿۵۲﴾
52. Do not drive away those (poor believers) who call upon their Lord morning and evening, seeking nothing but His countenance (i.e. His nearness and pleasure). Neither are you accountable for them whatsoever, nor are they accountable for you in any way, so that you may turn them away and become among those who deprive others of their rights (and such is not befitting for your compassionate being).
ولا تطرد الذين يدعون ربهم بالغداة والعشي يريدون وجهه ما عليك من حسابهم من شيء وما من حسابك عليهم من شيء فتطردهم فتكون من الظالمين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 52)
وَ کَذٰلِکَ فَتَنَّا بَعۡضَہُمۡ بِبَعۡضٍ لِّیَقُوۡلُوۡۤا اَہٰۤؤُلَآءِ مَنَّ اللّٰہُ عَلَیۡہِمۡ مِّنۡۢ بَیۡنِنَا ؕ اَلَیۡسَ اللّٰہُ بِاَعۡلَمَ بِالشّٰکِرِیۡنَ ﴿۵۳﴾
53. Thus, We have made some of them a test for others so they might say: ‘Are these (poor believers) the ones whom Allah has favoured from among us?’ Does not Allah know best who are grateful?
وكذلك فتنا بعضهم ببعض ليقولوا أهـؤلاء من الله عليهم من بيننا أليس الله بأعلم بالشاكرين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 53)
وَ اِذَا جَآءَکَ الَّذِیۡنَ یُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِاٰیٰتِنَا فَقُلۡ سَلٰمٌ عَلَیۡکُمۡ کَتَبَ رَبُّکُمۡ عَلٰی نَفۡسِہِ الرَّحۡمَۃَ ۙ اَنَّہٗ مَنۡ عَمِلَ مِنۡکُمۡ سُوۡٓءًۢ ابِجَہَالَۃٍ ثُمَّ تَابَ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِہٖ وَ اَصۡلَحَ فَاَنَّہٗ غَفُوۡرٌ رَّحِیۡمٌ ﴿۵۴﴾
54. When those who believe in Our revelations come to you, say: ‘Peace be upon you!’ Your Lord (out of His Grace) has prescribed mercy upon Himself. Whoever among you commits evil out of ignorance, then repents after that, and reforms (himself)—He is indeed Most-Forgiving, All-Merciful.
وإذا جاءك الذين يؤمنون بآياتنا فقل سلام عليكم كتب ربكم على نفسه الرحمة أنه من عمل منكم سوءا بجهالة ثم تاب من بعده وأصلح فأنه غفور رحيم
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 54)
قُلۡ اِنِّیۡ نُہِیۡتُ اَنۡ اَعۡبُدَ الَّذِیۡنَ تَدۡعُوۡنَ مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰہِ ؕ قُلۡ لَّاۤ اَتَّبِعُ اَہۡوَآءَکُمۡ ۙ قَدۡ ضَلَلۡتُ اِذًا وَّ مَاۤ اَنَا مِنَ الۡمُہۡتَدِیۡنَ ﴿۵۶﴾
56. Say: ‘I have been forbidden to worship those you invoke besides Allah.’ Say: ‘I do not follow your desires, for then I would have gone astray, and I would not have been among the rightly guided.’
قل إني نهيت أن أعبد الذين تدعون من دون الله قل لا أتبع أهواءكم قد ضللت إذا وما أنا من المهتدين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 56)
قُلۡ اِنِّیۡ عَلٰی بَیِّنَۃٍ مِّنۡ رَّبِّیۡ وَ کَذَّبۡتُمۡ بِہٖ ؕ مَا عِنۡدِیۡ مَا تَسۡتَعۡجِلُوۡنَ بِہٖ ؕ اِنِ الۡحُکۡمُ اِلَّا لِلّٰہِ ؕ یَقُصُّ الۡحَقَّ وَ ہُوَ خَیۡرُ الۡفٰصِلِیۡنَ ﴿۵۷﴾
57. Say: ‘Indeed I stand upon a clear proof from my Lord, though you have denied it. (The punishment) that you seek to hasten is not up to me. The judgement belongs only to Allah. He tells the truth, and He is the Best of judges.’
قل إني على بينة من ربي وكذبتم به ما عندي ما تستعجلون به إن الحكم إلا لله يقص الحق وهو خير الفاصلين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 57)
قُلۡ لَّوۡ اَنَّ عِنۡدِیۡ مَا تَسۡتَعۡجِلُوۡنَ بِہٖ لَقُضِیَ الۡاَمۡرُ بَیۡنِیۡ وَ بَیۡنَکُمۡ ؕ وَ اللّٰہُ اَعۡلَمُ بِالظّٰلِمِیۡنَ ﴿۵۸﴾
58. Say: ‘If what you seek to hasten were within my power, the matter would already have been decided between you and me, and Allah knows best the wrongdoers.’
قل لو أن عندي ما تستعجلون به لقضي الأمر بيني وبينكم والله أعلم بالظالمين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 58)
وَ عِنۡدَہٗ مَفَاتِحُ الۡغَیۡبِ لَا یَعۡلَمُہَاۤ اِلَّا ہُوَ ؕ وَ یَعۡلَمُ مَا فِی الۡبَرِّ وَ الۡبَحۡرِ ؕ وَ مَا تَسۡقُطُ مِنۡ وَّرَقَۃٍ اِلَّا یَعۡلَمُہَا وَ لَا حَبَّۃٍ فِیۡ ظُلُمٰتِ الۡاَرۡضِ وَ لَا رَطۡبٍ وَّ لَا یَابِسٍ اِلَّا فِیۡ کِتٰبٍ مُّبِیۡنٍ ﴿۵۹﴾
59. With Him are the keys of the Unseen. No one knows them (on his own) except Him. And He knows whatever is in the land and the sea. And no leaf falls, but He knows it, nor is there a grain in the darkness of the earth, nor anything moist or dry, but it is (written) in a manifest Book.
وعنده مفاتح الغيب لا يعلمها إلا هو ويعلم ما في البر والبحر وما تسقط من ورقة إلا يعلمها ولا حبة في ظلمات الأرض ولا رطب ولا يابس إلا في كتاب مبين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 59)
وَ ہُوَ الَّذِیۡ یَتَوَفّٰىکُمۡ بِالَّیۡلِ وَ یَعۡلَمُ مَا جَرَحۡتُمۡ بِالنَّہَارِ ثُمَّ یَبۡعَثُکُمۡ فِیۡہِ لِیُقۡضٰۤی اَجَلٌ مُّسَمًّی ۚ ثُمَّ اِلَیۡہِ مَرۡجِعُکُمۡ ثُمَّ یُنَبِّئُکُمۡ بِمَا کُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ ﴿٪۶۰﴾
60. He is the One Who takes your souls at night (in sleep) and knows whatever you earn by day. Then He raises you up (again) in the daytime until the fixed term (of life) is completed. Then to Him shall be your return, and He will inform you of what you have been doing.
وهو الذي يتوفاكم بالليل ويعلم ما جرحتم بالنهار ثم يبعثكم فيه ليقضى أجل مسمى ثم إليه مرجعكم ثم ينبئكم بما كنتم تعملون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 60)
وَ ہُوَ الۡقَاہِرُ فَوۡقَ عِبَادِہٖ وَ یُرۡسِلُ عَلَیۡکُمۡ حَفَظَۃً ؕ حَتّٰۤی اِذَا جَآءَ اَحَدَکُمُ الۡمَوۡتُ تَوَفَّتۡہُ رُسُلُنَا وَ ہُمۡ لَا یُفَرِّطُوۡنَ ﴿۶۱﴾
61. And He is All-Dominant over His servants. And He sends upon you recording angels (to watch over you), until, when death comes to one of you, Our messengers take him away, and they never neglect (their duty).
وهو القاهر فوق عباده ويرسل عليكم حفظة حتى إذا جاء أحدكم الموت توفته رسلنا وهم لا يفرطون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 61)
ثُمَّ رُدُّوۡۤا اِلَی اللّٰہِ مَوۡلٰىہُمُ الۡحَقِّ ؕ اَلَا لَہُ الۡحُکۡمُ ۟ وَ ہُوَ اَسۡرَعُ الۡحٰسِبِیۡنَ ﴿۶۲﴾
62. Then they are returned to Allah, their true Lord. Beware! The judgement belongs to Him. And He is the swiftest of reckoners.
ثم ردوا إلى الله مولاهم الحق ألا له الحكم وهو أسرع الحاسبين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 62)
قُلۡ مَنۡ یُّنَجِّیۡکُمۡ مِّنۡ ظُلُمٰتِ الۡبَرِّ وَ الۡبَحۡرِ تَدۡعُوۡنَہٗ تَضَرُّعًا وَّ خُفۡیَۃً ۚ لَئِنۡ اَنۡجٰىنَا مِنۡ ہٰذِہٖ لَنَکُوۡنَنَّ مِنَ الشّٰکِرِیۡنَ ﴿۶۳﴾
63. Say: ‘Who saves you from the darkness of land and sea, (when) you supplicate Him humbly and secretly, (saying:) ‘If He delivers us from this (adversity), we will surely be among the grateful?’’
قل من ينجيكم من ظلمات البر والبحر تدعونه تضرعا وخفية لئن أنجانا من هـذه لنكونن من الشاكرين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 63)
قُلۡ ہُوَ الۡقَادِرُ عَلٰۤی اَنۡ یَّبۡعَثَ عَلَیۡکُمۡ عَذَابًا مِّنۡ فَوۡقِکُمۡ اَوۡ مِنۡ تَحۡتِ اَرۡجُلِکُمۡ اَوۡ یَلۡبِسَکُمۡ شِیَعًا وَّ یُذِیۡقَ بَعۡضَکُمۡ بَاۡسَ بَعۡضٍ ؕ اُنۡظُرۡ کَیۡفَ نُصَرِّفُ الۡاٰیٰتِ لَعَلَّہُمۡ یَفۡقَہُوۡنَ ﴿۶۵﴾
65. Say: ‘He (alone) has the power to send upon you a punishment from above you or beneath your feet, or to confuse you by splitting you into (hostile) sects and make you taste the violence of one against the other.’ See how We explain (Our) revelations in various ways so perhaps they may understand.
قل هو القادر على أن يبعث عليكم عذابا من فوقكم أو من تحت أرجلكم أو يلبسكم شيعا ويذيق بعضكم بأس بعض انظر كيف نصرف الآيات لعلهم يفقهون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 65)
وَ اِذَا رَاَیۡتَ الَّذِیۡنَ یَخُوۡضُوۡنَ فِیۡۤ اٰیٰتِنَا فَاَعۡرِضۡ عَنۡہُمۡ حَتّٰی یَخُوۡضُوۡا فِیۡ حَدِیۡثٍ غَیۡرِہٖ ؕ وَ اِمَّا یُنۡسِیَنَّکَ الشَّیۡطٰنُ فَلَا تَقۡعُدۡ بَعۡدَ الذِّکۡرٰی مَعَ الۡقَوۡمِ الظّٰلِمِیۡنَ ﴿۶۸﴾
68. When you see those engaged in false discussions about Our revelations, avoid them until they engage in a different discourse. But if Satan causes you to forget, then, after remembering, do not sit in the company of the wrongdoing people.
وإذا رأيت الذين يخوضون في آياتنا فأعرض عنهم حتى يخوضوا في حديث غيره وإما ينسينك الشيطان فلا تقعد بعد الذكرى مع القوم الظالمين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 68)
وَ مَا عَلَی الَّذِیۡنَ یَتَّقُوۡنَ مِنۡ حِسَابِہِمۡ مِّنۡ شَیۡءٍ وَّ لٰکِنۡ ذِکۡرٰی لَعَلَّہُمۡ یَتَّقُوۡنَ ﴿۶۹﴾
69. Those who are God-conscious are in no way accountable for them (i.e. the wrongdoers), but this is merely a reminder so that they may guard themselves (against evil).
وما على الذين يتقون من حسابهم من شيء ولـكن ذكرى لعلهم يتقون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 69)
وَ ذَرِ الَّذِیۡنَ اتَّخَذُوۡا دِیۡنَہُمۡ لَعِبًا وَّ لَہۡوًا وَّ غَرَّتۡہُمُ الۡحَیٰوۃُ الدُّنۡیَا وَ ذَکِّرۡ بِہٖۤ اَنۡ تُبۡسَلَ نَفۡسٌۢ بِمَا کَسَبَتۡ ٭ۖ لَیۡسَ لَہَا مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰہِ وَلِیٌّ وَّ لَا شَفِیۡعٌ ۚ وَ اِنۡ تَعۡدِلۡ کُلَّ عَدۡلٍ لَّا یُؤۡخَذۡ مِنۡہَا ؕ اُولٰٓئِکَ الَّذِیۡنَ اُبۡسِلُوۡا بِمَا کَسَبُوۡا ۚ لَہُمۡ شَرَابٌ مِّنۡ حَمِیۡمٍ وَّ عَذَابٌ اَلِیۡمٌۢ بِمَا کَانُوۡا یَکۡفُرُوۡنَ ﴿٪۷۰﴾
70. Leave those who take their religion for play and amusement, and whom the life of this world has deceived. But keep reminding (them) by this (Qur’an), so that no soul should be ruined for what it has earned. The (disbelieving) soul shall have no guardian or intercessor besides Allah; even if it were to offer every possible ransom, none would be accepted from it. They are the ones who will be ruined because of what they have earned. There shall be a drink of boiling liquid and a painful punishment for what they used to disbelieve in.
وذر الذين اتخذوا دينهم لعبا ولهوا وغرتهم الحياة الدنيا وذكر به أن تبسل نفس بما كسبت ليس لها من دون الله ولي ولا شفيع وإن تعدل كل عدل لا يؤخذ منها أولـئك الذين أبسلوا بما كسبوا لهم شراب من حميم وعذاب أليم بما كانوا يكفرون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 70)
قُلۡ اَنَدۡعُوۡا مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰہِ مَا لَا یَنۡفَعُنَا وَ لَا یَضُرُّنَا وَ نُرَدُّ عَلٰۤی اَعۡقَابِنَا بَعۡدَ اِذۡ ہَدٰىنَا اللّٰہُ کَالَّذِی اسۡتَہۡوَتۡہُ الشَّیٰطِیۡنُ فِی الۡاَرۡضِ حَیۡرَانَ ۪ لَہٗۤ اَصۡحٰبٌ یَّدۡعُوۡنَہٗۤ اِلَی الۡہُدَی ائۡتِنَا ؕ قُلۡ اِنَّ ہُدَی اللّٰہِ ہُوَ الۡہُدٰی ؕ وَ اُمِرۡنَا لِنُسۡلِمَ لِرَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ ﴿ۙ۷۱﴾
71. Say: ‘Should we worship something besides Allah that can neither benefit us nor harm us and (should we) turn back on our heels (to disbelief) after Allah has guided us? (If we do so, we will be) like someone whom the devils have seduced in the wilderness on the earth, though he has companions who call him to guidance (saying): ‘Come to us?’ Say(O Prophet): ‘Indeed, the guidance of Allah is the (only) true guidance. And We have been commanded to submit to the Lord of all worlds,
قل أندعوا من دون الله ما لا ينفعنا ولا يضرنا ونرد على أعقابنا بعد إذ هدانا الله كالذي استهوته الشياطين في الأرض حيران له أصحاب يدعونه إلى الهدى ائتنا قل إن هدى الله هو الهدى وأمرنا لنسلم لرب العالمين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 71)
وَ ہُوَ الَّذِیۡ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الۡاَرۡضَ بِالۡحَقِّ ؕ وَ یَوۡمَ یَقُوۡلُ کُنۡ فَیَکُوۡنُ ۬ؕ قَوۡلُہُ الۡحَقُّ ؕ وَ لَہُ الۡمُلۡکُ یَوۡمَ یُنۡفَخُ فِی الصُّوۡرِ ؕ عٰلِمُ الۡغَیۡبِ وَ الشَّہَادَۃِ ؕ وَ ہُوَ الۡحَکِیۡمُ الۡخَبِیۡرُ ﴿۷۳﴾
73. He is the One Who created the heavens and the earth with truthful purpose. On the Day when He says (to something): ‘Be!’ There it will be. His Word is the truth. And to Him belongs all sovereignty on the Day when the Trumpet will be blown (by Israfil). The Knower of the Unseen and the seen, and He is the All-Wise, the All-Aware.
وهو الذي خلق السماوات والأرض بالحق ويوم يقول كن فيكون قوله الحق وله الملك يوم ينفخ في الصور عالم الغيب والشهادة وهو الحكيم الخبير
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 73)
وَ اِذۡ قَالَ اِبۡرٰہِیۡمُ لِاَبِیۡہِ اٰزَرَ اَتَتَّخِذُ اَصۡنَامًا اٰلِہَۃً ۚ اِنِّیۡۤ اَرٰىکَ وَ قَوۡمَکَ فِیۡ ضَلٰلٍ مُّبِیۡنٍ ﴿۷۴﴾
74. When Ibrahim (Abraham) said to his (fostering) father Azar*: ‘Do you take idols for gods? Indeed, I see you and your people in obvious error.’
* Azar was, in fact, Abraham’s paternal uncle and caretaker, not his birth father. The name of his birth father was Tarekh.
وإذ قال إبراهيم لأبيه آزر أتتخذ أصناما آلهة إني أراك وقومك في ضلال مبين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 74)
وَ کَذٰلِکَ نُرِیۡۤ اِبۡرٰہِیۡمَ مَلَکُوۡتَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الۡاَرۡضِ وَ لِیَکُوۡنَ مِنَ الۡمُوۡقِنِیۡنَ ﴿۷۵﴾
75. Thus did We show Ibrahim (Abraham) the kingdoms of the heavens and the earth, that he might be among the possessors of firm certitude.
وكذلك نري إبراهيم ملكوت السماوات والأرض وليكون من الموقنين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 75)
فَلَمَّا جَنَّ عَلَیۡہِ الَّیۡلُ رَاٰ کَوۡکَبًا ۚ قَالَ ہٰذَا رَبِّیۡ ۚ فَلَمَّاۤ اَفَلَ قَالَ لَاۤ اُحِبُّ الۡاٰفِلِیۡنَ ﴿۷۶﴾
76. So when the night grew dark upon him, he saw a star. He said: ‘This is my Lord!’ But when it set, he said: ‘I do not love things that set.’
فلما جن عليه الليل رأى كوكبا قال هـذا ربي فلما أفل قال لا أحب الآفلين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 76)
فَلَمَّا رَاَ الۡقَمَرَ بَازِغًا قَالَ ہٰذَا رَبِّیۡ ۚ فَلَمَّاۤ اَفَلَ قَالَ لَئِنۡ لَّمۡ یَہۡدِنِیۡ رَبِّیۡ لَاَکُوۡنَنَّ مِنَ الۡقَوۡمِ الضَّآلِّیۡنَ ﴿۷۷﴾
77. When he saw the moon rising, he said: ‘This is my Lord!’ But when it set, he said: ‘Had my Lord not guided me, I would surely have been among the misguided people.’
فلما رأى القمر بازغا قال هـذا ربي فلما أفل قال لئن لم يهدني ربي لأكونن من القوم الضالين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 77)
فَلَمَّا رَاَ الشَّمۡسَ بَازِغَۃً قَالَ ہٰذَا رَبِّیۡ ہٰذَاۤ اَکۡبَرُ ۚ فَلَمَّاۤ اَفَلَتۡ قَالَ یٰقَوۡمِ اِنِّیۡ بَرِیۡٓءٌ مِّمَّا تُشۡرِکُوۡنَ ﴿۷۸﴾
78. When he saw the sun rising, he said: ‘This must be my Lord! It is bigger (than the other two).’ But when it set, he said: ‘O my people! Indeed, I disown all that you ascribe as (His) partners.
فلما رأى الشمس بازغة قال هـذا ربي هـذآ أكبر فلما أفلت قال يا قوم إني بريء مما تشركون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 78)
اِنِّیۡ وَجَّہۡتُ وَجۡہِیَ لِلَّذِیۡ فَطَرَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الۡاَرۡضَ حَنِیۡفًا وَّ مَاۤ اَنَا مِنَ الۡمُشۡرِکِیۡنَ ﴿ۚ۷۹﴾
79. I have turned my face towards the One Who has originated the heavens and the earth, being an upright believer, and I am not among the polytheists.’
إني وجهت وجهي للذي فطر السماوات والأرض حنيفا وما أنا من المشركين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 79)
وَ حَآجَّہٗ قَوۡمُہٗ ؕ قَالَ اَتُحَآجُّوۡٓنِّیۡ فِی اللّٰہِ وَ قَدۡ ہَدٰىنِ ؕ وَ لَاۤ اَخَافُ مَا تُشۡرِکُوۡنَ بِہٖۤ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡ یَّشَآءَ رَبِّیۡ شَیۡئًا ؕ وَسِعَ رَبِّیۡ کُلَّ شَیۡءٍ عِلۡمًا ؕ اَفَلَا تَتَذَکَّرُوۡنَ ﴿۸۰﴾
80. His people argued with him. He said: ‘Do you argue with me concerning Allah while He has guided me? I do not fear whatever (idols) you ascribe to Him (as His) partners, except anything that my Lord may wish. My Lord comprehends all things in (His) knowledge. Will you then not remember?
وحآجه قومه قال أتحاجوني في الله وقد هدان ولا أخاف ما تشركون به إلا أن يشاء ربي شيئا وسع ربي كل شيء علما أفلا تتذكرون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 80)
وَ کَیۡفَ اَخَافُ مَاۤ اَشۡرَکۡتُمۡ وَ لَا تَخَافُوۡنَ اَنَّکُمۡ اَشۡرَکۡتُمۡ بِاللّٰہِ مَا لَمۡ یُنَزِّلۡ بِہٖ عَلَیۡکُمۡ سُلۡطٰنًا ؕ فَاَیُّ الۡفَرِیۡقَیۡنِ اَحَقُّ بِالۡاَمۡنِ ۚ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿ۘ۸۱﴾
81. How should I fear the partners you ascribe when you do not fear ascribing partners to Allah, for which He has not sent down any authority to you? So which of the two parties has a greater right to safety if (only) you know?’
وكيف أخاف ما أشركتم ولا تخافون أنكم أشركتم بالله ما لم ينزل به عليكم سلطانا فأي الفريقين أحق بالأمن إن كنتم تعلمون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 81)
اَلَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَ لَمۡ یَلۡبِسُوۡۤا اِیۡمَانَہُمۡ بِظُلۡمٍ اُولٰٓئِکَ لَہُمُ الۡاَمۡنُ وَ ہُمۡ مُّہۡتَدُوۡنَ ﴿٪۸۲﴾
82. Those who believe and do not mix up their belief with wrongdoing, it is they who shall have safety (in the Hereafter), and they are the (rightly) guided.
الذين آمنوا ولم يلبسوا إيمانهم بظلم أولـئك لهم الأمن وهم مهتدون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 82)
وَ تِلۡکَ حُجَّتُنَاۤ اٰتَیۡنٰہَاۤ اِبۡرٰہِیۡمَ عَلٰی قَوۡمِہٖ ؕ نَرۡفَعُ دَرَجٰتٍ مَّنۡ نَّشَآءُ ؕ اِنَّ رَبَّکَ حَکِیۡمٌ عَلِیۡمٌ ﴿۸۳﴾
83. That was Our argument We gave to Ibrahim (Abraham) against his people. We raise in degrees whomsoever We please. Indeed, your Lord is All-Wise, All-Knowing.
وتلك حجتنا آتيناها إبراهيم على قومه نرفع درجات من نشاء إن ربك حكيم عليم
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 83)
وَ وَہَبۡنَا لَہٗۤ اِسۡحٰقَ وَ یَعۡقُوۡبَ ؕ کُلًّا ہَدَیۡنَا ۚ وَ نُوۡحًا ہَدَیۡنَا مِنۡ قَبۡلُ وَ مِنۡ ذُرِّیَّتِہٖ دَاوٗدَ وَ سُلَیۡمٰنَ وَ اَیُّوۡبَ وَ یُوۡسُفَ وَ مُوۡسٰی وَ ہٰرُوۡنَ ؕ وَ کَذٰلِکَ نَجۡزِی الۡمُحۡسِنِیۡنَ ﴿ۙ۸۴﴾
84. And We bestowed upon him Ishaq (Isaac) and Ya‘qub (Jacob), and blessed all (of them) with guidance. And We had guided Nuh (Noah) before, and from his offspring, Dawud (David), Sulayman (Solomon), Ayyub (Job), Yusuf (Joseph), Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). Thus, do We reward the virtuously excellent.
ووهبنا له إسحق ويعقوب كلا هدينا ونوحا هدينا من قبل ومن ذريته داوود وسليمان وأيوب ويوسف وموسى وهارون وكذلك نجزي المحسنين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 84)
وَ اِسۡمٰعِیۡلَ وَ الۡیَسَعَ وَ یُوۡنُسَ وَ لُوۡطًا ؕ وَ کُلًّا فَضَّلۡنَا عَلَی الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ ﴿ۙ۸۶﴾
86. And (We also guided) Isma‘il (Ishmael), al-Yasa‘ (Elisha), Yunus (Jonah) and Lut (Lot). And We graced all (of them) over the nations,
وإسماعيل واليسع ويونس ولوطا وكلا فضلنا على العالمين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 86)
وَ مِنۡ اٰبَآئِہِمۡ وَ ذُرِّیّٰتِہِمۡ وَ اِخۡوَانِہِمۡ ۚ وَ اجۡتَبَیۡنٰہُمۡ وَ ہَدَیۡنٰہُمۡ اِلٰی صِرَاطٍ مُّسۡتَقِیۡمٍ ﴿۸۷﴾
87. and from among their forefathers, their offspring and their brethren. We chose them and guided them to a straight path.
ومن آبائهم وذرياتهم وإخوانهم واجتبيناهم وهديناهم إلى صراط مستقيم
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 87)
ذٰلِکَ ہُدَی اللّٰہِ یَہۡدِیۡ بِہٖ مَنۡ یَّشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِہٖ ؕ وَ لَوۡ اَشۡرَکُوۡا لَحَبِطَ عَنۡہُمۡ مَّا کَانُوۡا یَعۡمَلُوۡنَ ﴿۸۸﴾
88. That is Allah’s guidance, with which He guides whomsoever He pleases among His servants. And if they were to ascribe partners (to Allah), whatever (good) they were doing would have been removed from them.
ذلك هدى الله يهدي به من يشاء من عباده ولو أشركوا لحبط عنهم ما كانوا يعملون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 88)
اُولٰٓئِکَ الَّذِیۡنَ اٰتَیۡنٰہُمُ الۡکِتٰبَ وَ الۡحُکۡمَ وَ النُّبُوَّۃَ ۚ فَاِنۡ یَّکۡفُرۡ بِہَا ہٰۤؤُلَآءِ فَقَدۡ وَکَّلۡنَا بِہَا قَوۡمًا لَّیۡسُوۡا بِہَا بِکٰفِرِیۡنَ ﴿۸۹﴾
89. They are the ones whom We gave the Book, the (sound) judgement, and prophethood. So if these (pagans) disbelieve in them, We have already entrusted them to a people who will never deny them.
أولـئك الذين آتيناهم الكتاب والحكم والنبوة فإن يكفر بها هـؤلاء فقد وكلنا بها قوما ليسوا بها بكافرين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 89)
اُولٰٓئِکَ الَّذِیۡنَ ہَدَی اللّٰہُ فَبِہُدٰىہُمُ اقۡتَدِہۡ ؕ قُلۡ لَّاۤ اَسۡـَٔلُکُمۡ عَلَیۡہِ اَجۡرًا ؕ اِنۡ ہُوَ اِلَّا ذِکۡرٰی لِلۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ ﴿٪۹۰﴾
90. Those were the people whom Allah had guided. So, follow their (path of) guidance. Say: ‘I do not ask you any reward for it. It is nothing but a reminder for all the nations.’
أولـئك الذين هدى الله فبهداهم اقتده قل لا أسألكم عليه أجرا إن هو إلا ذكرى للعالمين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 90)
وَ مَا قَدَرُوا اللّٰہَ حَقَّ قَدۡرِہٖۤ اِذۡ قَالُوۡا مَاۤ اَنۡزَلَ اللّٰہُ عَلٰی بَشَرٍ مِّنۡ شَیۡءٍ ؕ قُلۡ مَنۡ اَنۡزَلَ الۡکِتٰبَ الَّذِیۡ جَآءَ بِہٖ مُوۡسٰی نُوۡرًا وَّ ہُدًی لِّلنَّاسِ تَجۡعَلُوۡنَہٗ قَرَاطِیۡسَ تُبۡدُوۡنَہَا وَ تُخۡفُوۡنَ کَثِیۡرًا ۚ وَ عُلِّمۡتُمۡ مَّا لَمۡ تَعۡلَمُوۡۤا اَنۡتُمۡ وَ لَاۤ اٰبَآؤُکُمۡ ؕ قُلِ اللّٰہُ ۙ ثُمَّ ذَرۡہُمۡ فِیۡ خَوۡضِہِمۡ یَلۡعَبُوۡنَ ﴿۹۱﴾
91. They did not pay due regard to the Reverence of Allah when (denying prophethood,) they said: ‘Allah did not reveal anything to any human.’ Say: ‘Who revealed the Book that Musa (Moses) brought as a light and a guidance for the people, which you make into (separate) parchments that you display, while you conceal much (of it)? And you were taught (through that) what you had not known before, neither you nor your fathers.’ Say: ‘Allah.’ Then, leave them alone to play around in their impious discourse.
وما قدروا الله حق قدره إذ قالوا ما أنزل الله على بشر من شيء قل من أنزل الكتاب الذي جاء به موسى نورا وهدى للناس تجعلونه قراطيس تبدونها وتخفون كثيرا وعلمتم ما لم تعلموا أنتم ولا آباؤكم قل الله ثم ذرهم في خوضهم يلعبون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 91)
وَ ہٰذَا کِتٰبٌ اَنۡزَلۡنٰہُ مُبٰرَکٌ مُّصَدِّقُ الَّذِیۡ بَیۡنَ یَدَیۡہِ وَ لِتُنۡذِرَ اُمَّ الۡقُرٰی وَ مَنۡ حَوۡلَہَا ؕ وَ الَّذِیۡنَ یُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِالۡاٰخِرَۃِ یُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِہٖ وَ ہُمۡ عَلٰی صَلَاتِہِمۡ یُحَافِظُوۡنَ ﴿۹۲﴾
92. Blessed is this Book (which) We have sent down, confirming what was revealed before it, so that you may warn (the people of) the Mother of Cities (i.e. Mecca) and those around it. Those who believe in the Hereafter believe in it and are watchful of their prayers.
وهـذا كتاب أنزلناه مبارك مصدق الذي بين يديه ولتنذر أم القرى ومن حولها والذين يؤمنون بالآخرة يؤمنون به وهم على صلاتهم يحافظون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 92)
وَ مَنۡ اَظۡلَمُ مِمَّنِ افۡتَرٰی عَلَی اللّٰہِ کَذِبًا اَوۡ قَالَ اُوۡحِیَ اِلَیَّ وَ لَمۡ یُوۡحَ اِلَیۡہِ شَیۡءٌ وَّ مَنۡ قَالَ سَاُنۡزِلُ مِثۡلَ مَاۤ اَنۡزَلَ اللّٰہُ ؕ وَ لَوۡ تَرٰۤی اِذِ الظّٰلِمُوۡنَ فِیۡ غَمَرٰتِ الۡمَوۡتِ وَ الۡمَلٰٓئِکَۃُ بَاسِطُوۡۤا اَیۡدِیۡہِمۡ ۚ اَخۡرِجُوۡۤا اَنۡفُسَکُمۡ ؕ اَلۡیَوۡمَ تُجۡزَوۡنَ عَذَابَ الۡہُوۡنِ بِمَا کُنۡتُمۡ تَقُوۡلُوۡنَ عَلَی اللّٰہِ غَیۡرَ الۡحَقِّ وَ کُنۡتُمۡ عَنۡ اٰیٰتِہٖ تَسۡتَکۡبِرُوۡنَ ﴿۹۳﴾
93. Who could be more unjust than someone who fabricates a lie against Allah or says: ‘It has been revealed to me,’ although nothing was revealed to him, and he who says: ‘I will reveal something equal to what Allah has revealed?’ If only you could see when the wrongdoers are in the agonies of death, and the angels stretch out their hands (to them saying): ‘Give up your souls! Today, you shall be recompensed with the punishment of humiliation for you have been speaking untruth against Allah, and for you have been arrogant towards His revelations.’
ومن أظلم ممن افترى على الله كذبا أو قال أوحي إلي ولم يوح إليه شيء ومن قال سأنزل مثل ما أنزل الله ولو ترى إذ الظالمون في غمرات الموت والملآئكة باسطوا أيديهم أخرجوا أنفسكم اليوم تجزون عذاب الهون بما كنتم تقولون على الله غير الحق وكنتم عن آياته تستكبرون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 93)
وَ لَقَدۡ جِئۡتُمُوۡنَا فُرَادٰی کَمَا خَلَقۡنٰکُمۡ اَوَّلَ مَرَّۃٍ وَّ تَرَکۡتُمۡ مَّا خَوَّلۡنٰکُمۡ وَرَآءَ ظُہُوۡرِکُمۡ ۚ وَ مَا نَرٰی مَعَکُمۡ شُفَعَآءَکُمُ الَّذِیۡنَ زَعَمۡتُمۡ اَنَّہُمۡ فِیۡکُمۡ شُرَکٰٓؤُا ؕ لَقَدۡ تَّقَطَّعَ بَیۡنَکُمۡ وَ ضَلَّ عَنۡکُمۡ مَّا کُنۡتُمۡ تَزۡعُمُوۡنَ ﴿٪۹۴﴾
94. (Then Allah will say:) ‘Now you have come to Us alone, just as We created you the first time, and you have left behind whatever We had bestowed upon you. And We do not see your intercessors with you, whom you claimed that they were (Our) partners in your matters. Surely, all links between you have been cut (today). And what you have been claiming has abandoned you.
ولقد جئتمونا فرادى كما خلقناكم أول مرة وتركتم ما خولناكم وراء ظهوركم وما نرى معكم شفعاءكم الذين زعمتم أنهم فيكم شركاء لقد تقطع بينكم وضل عنكم ما كنتم تزعمون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 94)
اِنَّ اللّٰہَ فَالِقُ الۡحَبِّ وَ النَّوٰی ؕ یُخۡرِجُ الۡحَیَّ مِنَ الۡمَیِّتِ وَ مُخۡرِجُ الۡمَیِّتِ مِنَ الۡحَیِّ ؕ ذٰلِکُمُ اللّٰہُ فَاَنّٰی تُؤۡفَکُوۡنَ ﴿۹۵﴾
95. Indeed, Allah is the Splitter of the grain and the fruit stone. He brings out the living from the dead, and He brings the dead out from the living. That is Allah! So, how are you misled?
إن الله فالق الحب والنوى يخرج الحي من الميت ومخرج الميت من الحي ذلكم الله فأنى تؤفكون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 95)
فَالِقُ الۡاِصۡبَاحِ ۚ وَ جَعَلَ الَّیۡلَ سَکَنًا وَّ الشَّمۡسَ وَ الۡقَمَرَ حُسۡبَانًا ؕ ذٰلِکَ تَقۡدِیۡرُ الۡعَزِیۡزِ الۡعَلِیۡمِ ﴿۹۶﴾
96. (He is) the Splitter of the dawn. He has made the night for rest, the sun, and the moon (to travel) with calculation. That is the finely-measured design of the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing.
فالق الإصباح وجعل الليل سكنا والشمس والقمر حسبانا ذلك تقدير العزيز العليم
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 96)
وَ ہُوَ الَّذِیۡ جَعَلَ لَکُمُ النُّجُوۡمَ لِتَہۡتَدُوۡا بِہَا فِیۡ ظُلُمٰتِ الۡبَرِّ وَ الۡبَحۡرِ ؕ قَدۡ فَصَّلۡنَا الۡاٰیٰتِ لِقَوۡمٍ یَّعۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿۹۷﴾
97. And He is the One Who made the stars for you so you can navigate through them in the darkness of land and sea. Indeed, We have distinguished the signs for the people having (astronomical) knowledge.
وهو الذي جعل لكم النجوم لتهتدوا بها في ظلمات البر والبحر قد فصلنا الآيات لقوم يعلمون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 97)
وَ ہُوَ الَّذِیۡۤ اَنۡشَاَکُمۡ مِّنۡ نَّفۡسٍ وَّاحِدَۃٍ فَمُسۡتَقَرٌّ وَّ مُسۡتَوۡدَعٌ ؕ قَدۡ فَصَّلۡنَا الۡاٰیٰتِ لِقَوۡمٍ یَّفۡقَہُوۡنَ ﴿۹۸﴾
98. He is the One Who produced you from one living soul (i.e. a single cell). Then (assigned you) a place to stay (in life) and a place (to be laid) for rest. Indeed, We have explained the signs to people who understand deeply.
وهو الذي أنشأكم من نفس واحدة فمستقر ومستودع قد فصلنا الآيات لقوم يفقهون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 98)
وَ ہُوَ الَّذِیۡۤ اَنۡزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَآءِ مَآءً ۚ فَاَخۡرَجۡنَا بِہٖ نَبَاتَ کُلِّ شَیۡءٍ فَاَخۡرَجۡنَا مِنۡہُ خَضِرًا نُّخۡرِجُ مِنۡہُ حَبًّا مُّتَرَاکِبًا ۚ وَ مِنَ النَّخۡلِ مِنۡ طَلۡعِہَا قِنۡوَانٌ دَانِیَۃٌ وَّ جَنّٰتٍ مِّنۡ اَعۡنَابٍ وَّ الزَّیۡتُوۡنَ وَ الرُّمَّانَ مُشۡتَبِہًا وَّ غَیۡرَ مُتَشَابِہٍ ؕ اُنۡظُرُوۡۤا اِلٰی ثَمَرِہٖۤ اِذَاۤ اَثۡمَرَ وَ یَنۡعِہٖ ؕ اِنَّ فِیۡ ذٰلِکُمۡ لَاٰیٰتٍ لِّقَوۡمٍ یُّؤۡمِنُوۡنَ ﴿۹۹﴾
99. He is the One Who sends down water from the clouds. Then, with it, We bring out the buds of all plants. Thereby, We bring out the vegetation, from which We produce the grain in closely packed rows. And from the palm trees (We bring out) clusters of dates hanging low, and gardens of grapes, olives and pomegranate, (which from many aspects look) similar and dissimilar. Look upon its fruit as it grows and ripens. Indeed, there are signs for the people who believe in all these things.
وهو الذي أنزل من السماء ماء فأخرجنا به نبات كل شيء فأخرجنا منه خضرا نخرج منه حبا متراكبا ومن النخل من طلعها قنوان دانية وجنات من أعناب والزيتون والرمان مشتبها وغير متشابه انظروا إلى ثمره إذا أثمر وينعه إن في ذلكم لآيات لقوم يؤمنون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 99)
وَ جَعَلُوۡا لِلّٰہِ شُرَکَآءَ الۡجِنَّ وَ خَلَقَہُمۡ وَ خَرَقُوۡا لَہٗ بَنِیۡنَ وَ بَنٰتٍۭ بِغَیۡرِ عِلۡمٍ ؕ سُبۡحٰنَہٗ وَ تَعٰلٰی عَمَّا یَصِفُوۡنَ ﴿۱۰۰﴾٪
100. They make the jinn partners of Allah, though He has created them, and they falsely attribute sons and daughters to Him without any knowledge. Glory be to Him! And Exalted is He above what they ascribe.
وجعلوا لله شركاء الجن وخلقهم وخرقوا له بنين وبنات بغير علم سبحانه وتعالى عما يصفون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 100)
بَدِیۡعُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الۡاَرۡضِ ؕ اَنّٰی یَکُوۡنُ لَہٗ وَلَدٌ وَّ لَمۡ تَکُنۡ لَّہٗ صَاحِبَۃٌ ؕ وَ خَلَقَ کُلَّ شَیۡءٍ ۚ وَ ہُوَ بِکُلِّ شَیۡءٍ عَلِیۡمٌ ﴿۱۰۱﴾
101. The Originator of the heavens and the earth! How could He have a child when He has no spouse? Whereas He created all things, and He is All-Knowing of everything.
بديع السماوات والأرض أنى يكون له ولد ولم تكن له صاحبة وخلق كل شيء وهو بكل شيء عليم
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 101)
ذٰلِکُمُ اللّٰہُ رَبُّکُمۡ ۚ لَاۤ اِلٰہَ اِلَّا ہُوَ ۚ خَالِقُ کُلِّ شَیۡءٍ فَاعۡبُدُوۡہُ ۚ وَ ہُوَ عَلٰی کُلِّ شَیۡءٍ وَّکِیۡلٌ ﴿۱۰۲﴾
102. That is Allah, your Lord; there is no god except Him, the Creator of everything. So worship Him, and He is the Guardian over everything.
ذلكم الله ربكم لا إلـه إلا هو خالق كل شيء فاعبدوه وهو على كل شيء وكيل
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 102)
قَدۡ جَآءَکُمۡ بَصَآئِرُ مِنۡ رَّبِّکُمۡ ۚ فَمَنۡ اَبۡصَرَ فَلِنَفۡسِہٖ ۚ وَ مَنۡ عَمِیَ فَعَلَیۡہَا ؕ وَ مَاۤ اَنَا عَلَیۡکُمۡ بِحَفِیۡظٍ ﴿۱۰۴﴾
104. Indeed, clear insights have come to you from your Lord. If anyone sees (them) clearly, it will be to his benefit. And whoever remains blind it will be to his loss. And I am not a watcher over you.
قد جاءكم بصآئر من ربكم فمن أبصر فلنفسه ومن عمي فعليها وما أنا عليكم بحفيظ
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 104)
وَ کَذٰلِکَ نُصَرِّفُ الۡاٰیٰتِ وَ لِیَقُوۡلُوۡا دَرَسۡتَ وَ لِنُبَیِّنَہٗ لِقَوۡمٍ یَّعۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿۱۰۵﴾
105. Thus, We diversify the styles of Our Communications so they may exclaim: ‘You have studied (from somewhere),’ and We make this (Qur’an) clear to the people who possess knowledge.
وكذلك نصرف الآيات وليقولوا درست ولنبينه لقوم يعلمون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 105)
اِتَّبِعۡ مَاۤ اُوۡحِیَ اِلَیۡکَ مِنۡ رَّبِّکَ ۚ لَاۤ اِلٰہَ اِلَّا ہُوَ ۚ وَ اَعۡرِضۡ عَنِ الۡمُشۡرِکِیۡنَ ﴿۱۰۶﴾
106. Follow what has been revealed to you by your Lord. There is no god except Him—and turn away from the polytheists.
اتبع ما أوحي إليك من ربك لا إلـه إلا هو وأعرض عن المشركين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 106)
وَ لَوۡ شَآءَ اللّٰہُ مَاۤ اَشۡرَکُوۡا ؕ وَ مَا جَعَلۡنٰکَ عَلَیۡہِمۡ حَفِیۡظًا ۚ وَ مَاۤ اَنۡتَ عَلَیۡہِمۡ بِوَکِیۡلٍ ﴿۱۰۷﴾
107. If Allah had willed, they would not have ascribed partners (to Him). And We have not made you a watcher over them, nor are you an advocate for them.
ولو شاء الله ما أشركوا وما جعلناك عليهم حفيظا وما أنت عليهم بوكيل
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 107)
وَ لَا تَسُبُّوا الَّذِیۡنَ یَدۡعُوۡنَ مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰہِ فَیَسُبُّوا اللّٰہَ عَدۡوًۢا بِغَیۡرِ عِلۡمٍ ؕ کَذٰلِکَ زَیَّنَّا لِکُلِّ اُمَّۃٍ عَمَلَہُمۡ ۪ ثُمَّ اِلٰی رَبِّہِمۡ مَّرۡجِعُہُمۡ فَیُنَبِّئُہُمۡ بِمَا کَانُوۡا یَعۡمَلُوۡنَ ﴿۱۰۸﴾
108. Do not abuse whatever (idols) they worship besides Allah, lest they vindictively insult Allah out of ignorance. That is how We have made the conduct of every community seem alluring to them. Then to their Lord shall be their return, and He will inform them of what they had been doing.
ولا تسبوا الذين يدعون من دون الله فيسبوا الله عدوا بغير علم كذلك زينا لكل أمة عملهم ثم إلى ربهم مرجعهم فينبئهم بما كانوا يعملون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 108)
وَ اَقۡسَمُوۡا بِاللّٰہِ جَہۡدَ اَیۡمَانِہِمۡ لَئِنۡ جَآءَتۡہُمۡ اٰیَۃٌ لَّیُؤۡمِنُنَّ بِہَا ؕ قُلۡ اِنَّمَا الۡاٰیٰتُ عِنۡدَ اللّٰہِ وَ مَا یُشۡعِرُکُمۡ ۙ اَنَّہَاۤ اِذَا جَآءَتۡ لَا یُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ ﴿۱۰۹﴾
109. And they swear by Allah their most solemn oaths that if a sign came to them, they would most certainly believe in it. Say: ‘The signs are only with Allah.’ And, (O Muslims,) what will make you realise that even if those (signs) were to come, they would (still) not believe.
وأقسموا بالله جهد أيمانهم لئن جاءتهم آية ليؤمنن بها قل إنما الآيات عند الله وما يشعركم أنها إذا جاءت لا يؤمنون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 109)
وَ نُقَلِّبُ اَفۡـِٕدَتَہُمۡ وَ اَبۡصَارَہُمۡ کَمَا لَمۡ یُؤۡمِنُوۡا بِہٖۤ اَوَّلَ مَرَّۃٍ وَّ نَذَرُہُمۡ فِیۡ طُغۡیَانِہِمۡ یَعۡمَہُوۡنَ ﴿۱۱۰﴾٪
110. We shall turn their hearts and their eyes away from (accepting the truth) as they did not believe in it the first time. And We will leave them wandering, confused in their rebellion.
ونقلب أفئدتهم وأبصارهم كما لم يؤمنوا به أول مرة ونذرهم في طغيانهم يعمهون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 110)
وَ لَوۡ اَنَّنَا نَزَّلۡنَاۤ اِلَیۡہِمُ الۡمَلٰٓئِکَۃَ وَ کَلَّمَہُمُ الۡمَوۡتٰی وَ حَشَرۡنَا عَلَیۡہِمۡ کُلَّ شَیۡءٍ قُبُلًا مَّا کَانُوۡا لِیُؤۡمِنُوۡۤا اِلَّاۤ اَنۡ یَّشَآءَ اللّٰہُ وَ لٰکِنَّ اَکۡثَرَہُمۡ یَجۡہَلُوۡنَ ﴿۱۱۱﴾
111. Even if We had sent down angels to them and the dead had spoken to them, and We had gathered all things right in front of them, they would (still) not believe unless Allah so willed. But most of them are ignorant.
ولو أننا نزلنا إليهم الملآئكة وكلمهم الموتى وحشرنا عليهم كل شيء قبلا ما كانوا ليؤمنوا إلا أن يشاء الله ولـكن أكثرهم يجهلون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 111)
وَ کَذٰلِکَ جَعَلۡنَا لِکُلِّ نَبِیٍّ عَدُوًّا شَیٰطِیۡنَ الۡاِنۡسِ وَ الۡجِنِّ یُوۡحِیۡ بَعۡضُہُمۡ اِلٰی بَعۡضٍ زُخۡرُفَ الۡقَوۡلِ غُرُوۡرًا ؕ وَ لَوۡ شَآءَ رَبُّکَ مَا فَعَلُوۡہُ فَذَرۡہُمۡ وَ مَا یَفۡتَرُوۡنَ ﴿۱۱۲﴾
112. Thus, for every prophet, We have made an enemy—the Satans from among humans and jinn, who inspire one another with adorned words of deception. Had your Lord willed, they would never have done it. So leave them with what they fabricate,
وكذلك جعلنا لكل نبي عدوا شياطين الإنس والجن يوحي بعضهم إلى بعض زخرف القول غرورا ولو شاء ربك ما فعلوه فذرهم وما يفترون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 112)
وَ لِتَصۡغٰۤی اِلَیۡہِ اَفۡـِٕدَۃُ الَّذِیۡنَ لَا یُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِالۡاٰخِرَۃِ وَ لِیَرۡضَوۡہُ وَ لِیَقۡتَرِفُوۡا مَا ہُمۡ مُّقۡتَرِفُوۡنَ ﴿۱۱۳﴾
113. so that the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter may incline towards it, be pleased with it and earn (the evil of) what they commit.
ولتصغى إليه أفئدة الذين لا يؤمنون بالآخرة وليرضوه وليقترفوا ما هم مقترفون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 113)
اَفَغَیۡرَ اللّٰہِ اَبۡتَغِیۡ حَکَمًا وَّ ہُوَ الَّذِیۡۤ اَنۡزَلَ اِلَیۡکُمُ الۡکِتٰبَ مُفَصَّلًا ؕ وَ الَّذِیۡنَ اٰتَیۡنٰہُمُ الۡکِتٰبَ یَعۡلَمُوۡنَ اَنَّہٗ مُنَزَّلٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّکَ بِالۡحَقِّ فَلَا تَکُوۡنَنَّ مِنَ الۡمُمۡتَرِیۡنَ ﴿۱۱۴﴾
114. (Say:) ‘Should I seek a judge besides Allah, while it is He Who has revealed to you the Book, clearly explained?’ Those to whom We have given the Book know that it has been revealed from your Lord with the truth, so do not be among the doubters.
أفغير الله أبتغي حكما وهو الذي أنزل إليكم الكتاب مفصلا والذين آتيناهم الكتاب يعلمون أنه منزل من ربك بالحق فلا تكونن من الممترين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 114)
وَ تَمَّتۡ کَلِمَتُ رَبِّکَ صِدۡقًا وَّ عَدۡلًا ؕ لَا مُبَدِّلَ لِکَلِمٰتِہٖ ۚ وَ ہُوَ السَّمِیۡعُ الۡعَلِیۡمُ ﴿۱۱۵﴾
115. The word of your Lord is fulfilled in truth and justice. No one can change His words. And He is the All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
وتمت كلمت ربك صدقا وعدلا لا مبدل لكلماته وهو السميع العليم
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 115)
وَ اِنۡ تُطِعۡ اَکۡثَرَ مَنۡ فِی الۡاَرۡضِ یُضِلُّوۡکَ عَنۡ سَبِیۡلِ اللّٰہِ ؕ اِنۡ یَّتَّبِعُوۡنَ اِلَّا الظَّنَّ وَ اِنۡ ہُمۡ اِلَّا یَخۡرُصُوۡنَ ﴿۱۱۶﴾
116. If you obey most of those on the earth, they will lead you astray from the way of Allah. They follow nothing but assumptions, and they are merely guessing (and lying).
وإن تطع أكثر من في الأرض يضلوك عن سبيل الله إن يتبعون إلا الظن وإن هم إلا يخرصون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 116)
فَکُلُوۡا مِمَّا ذُکِرَ اسۡمُ اللّٰہِ عَلَیۡہِ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ بِاٰیٰتِہٖ مُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ ﴿۱۱۸﴾
118. So eat from (the meat of) that (permissible animal) over which Allah’s Name is invoked (at the time of slaughter) if you are (true) believers in His revelations.
فكلوا مما ذكر اسم الله عليه إن كنتم بآياته مؤمنين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 118)
وَ مَا لَکُمۡ اَلَّا تَاۡکُلُوۡا مِمَّا ذُکِرَ اسۡمُ اللّٰہِ عَلَیۡہِ وَ قَدۡ فَصَّلَ لَکُمۡ مَّا حَرَّمَ عَلَیۡکُمۡ اِلَّا مَا اضۡطُرِرۡتُمۡ اِلَیۡہِ ؕ وَ اِنَّ کَثِیۡرًا لَّیُضِلُّوۡنَ بِاَہۡوَآئِہِمۡ بِغَیۡرِ عِلۡمٍ ؕ اِنَّ رَبَّکَ ہُوَ اَعۡلَمُ بِالۡمُعۡتَدِیۡنَ ﴿۱۱۹﴾
119. Why should you not eat from (the meat of) that (animal) over which Allah’s name is invoked (at the time of slaughter), while He has already explained to you whatever He has forbidden you, except for what you are highly compelled (to eat)? Indeed, many people mislead (others) with their desires without (any concrete) knowledge. Indeed, your Lord is He Who knows the transgressors well.
وما لكم ألا تأكلوا مما ذكر اسم الله عليه وقد فصل لكم ما حرم عليكم إلا ما اضطررتم إليه وإن كثيرا ليضلون بأهوائهم بغير علم إن ربك هو أعلم بالمعتدين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 119)
وَ ذَرُوۡا ظَاہِرَ الۡاِثۡمِ وَ بَاطِنَہٗ ؕ اِنَّ الَّذِیۡنَ یَکۡسِبُوۡنَ الۡاِثۡمَ سَیُجۡزَوۡنَ بِمَا کَانُوۡا یَقۡتَرِفُوۡنَ ﴿۱۲۰﴾
120. Abandon the outward sins and the inward ones. Indeed, those who commit sins shall be recompensed for what they used to commit.
وذروا ظاهر الإثم وباطنه إن الذين يكسبون الإثم سيجزون بما كانوا يقترفون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 120)
وَ لَا تَاۡکُلُوۡا مِمَّا لَمۡ یُذۡکَرِ اسۡمُ اللّٰہِ عَلَیۡہِ وَ اِنَّہٗ لَفِسۡقٌ ؕ وَ اِنَّ الشَّیٰطِیۡنَ لَیُوۡحُوۡنَ اِلٰۤی اَوۡلِیٰٓئِہِمۡ لِیُجَادِلُوۡکُمۡ ۚ وَ اِنۡ اَطَعۡتُمُوۡہُمۡ اِنَّکُمۡ لَمُشۡرِکُوۡنَ ﴿۱۲۱﴾٪
121. And do not eat from (the meat of) that (animal) over which Allah’s name has not been invoked (at the time of slaughter). It is indeed a disobedience (contravening the Sacred Law). Indeed, the devils inspire their intimate friends to argue with you. And if you obey them, you will also become polytheists.
ولا تأكلوا مما لم يذكر اسم الله عليه وإنه لفسق وإن الشياطين ليوحون إلى أوليآئهم ليجادلوكم وإن أطعتموهم إنكم لمشركون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 121)
اَوَ مَنۡ کَانَ مَیۡتًا فَاَحۡیَیۡنٰہُ وَ جَعَلۡنَا لَہٗ نُوۡرًا یَّمۡشِیۡ بِہٖ فِی النَّاسِ کَمَنۡ مَّثَلُہٗ فِی الظُّلُمٰتِ لَیۡسَ بِخَارِجٍ مِّنۡہَا ؕ کَذٰلِکَ زُیِّنَ لِلۡکٰفِرِیۡنَ مَا کَانُوۡا یَعۡمَلُوۡنَ ﴿۱۲۲﴾
122. Can the one who was dead, then We gave him life and provided him with a light, with which he walks among the people (to enlighten them), be comparable to the one (trapped) in manifold darkness, which he cannot escape? Thus, whatever (misdeeds) the disbelievers used to do were made alluring to them.
أو من كان ميتا فأحييناه وجعلنا له نورا يمشي به في الناس كمن مثله في الظلمات ليس بخارج منها كذلك زين للكافرين ما كانوا يعملون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 122)
وَ کَذٰلِکَ جَعَلۡنَا فِیۡ کُلِّ قَرۡیَۃٍ اَکٰبِرَ مُجۡرِمِیۡہَا لِیَمۡکُرُوۡا فِیۡہَا ؕ وَ مَا یَمۡکُرُوۡنَ اِلَّا بِاَنۡفُسِہِمۡ وَ مَا یَشۡعُرُوۡنَ ﴿۱۲۳﴾
123. Thus, We have made the powerful ones the criminals in every town so that they may devise their (evil) plots therein. But they only plot against themselves, though they are unaware.
وكذلك جعلنا في كل قرية أكابر مجرميها ليمكروا فيها وما يمكرون إلا بأنفسهم وما يشعرون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 123)
وَ اِذَا جَآءَتۡہُمۡ اٰیَۃٌ قَالُوۡا لَنۡ نُّؤۡمِنَ حَتّٰی نُؤۡتٰی مِثۡلَ مَاۤ اُوۡتِیَ رُسُلُ اللّٰہِ ؕۘؔ اَللّٰہُ اَعۡلَمُ حَیۡثُ یَجۡعَلُ رِسَالَتَہٗ ؕ سَیُصِیۡبُ الَّذِیۡنَ اَجۡرَمُوۡا صَغَارٌ عِنۡدَ اللّٰہِ وَ عَذَابٌ شَدِیۡدٌۢ بِمَا کَانُوۡا یَمۡکُرُوۡنَ ﴿۱۲۴﴾
124. And when a revelation comes to them, they say: ‘We will never believe unless we are given the like of what was given to the messengers of Allah.’ Allah knows best where to place His message. Soon, humiliation before Allah and severe punishment shall befall the guilty because of the plots they used to devise.
وإذا جاءتهم آية قالوا لن نؤمن حتى نؤتى مثل ما أوتي رسل الله الله أعلم حيث يجعل رسالته سيصيب الذين أجرموا صغار عند الله وعذاب شديد بما كانوا يمكرون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 124)
فَمَنۡ یُّرِدِ اللّٰہُ اَنۡ یَّہۡدِیَہٗ یَشۡرَحۡ صَدۡرَہٗ لِلۡاِسۡلَامِ ۚ وَ مَنۡ یُّرِدۡ اَنۡ یُّضِلَّہٗ یَجۡعَلۡ صَدۡرَہٗ ضَیِّقًا حَرَجًا کَاَنَّمَا یَصَّعَّدُ فِی السَّمَآءِ ؕ کَذٰلِکَ یَجۡعَلُ اللّٰہُ الرِّجۡسَ عَلَی الَّذِیۡنَ لَا یُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ ﴿۱۲۵﴾
125. Whoever Allah intends to guide, He expands his breast for Islam. But whoever He intends to leave astray, He makes his breast narrow and tight, as if he were climbing up into the sky. Thus, Allah lays (spiritual) defilement on those who do not believe.
فمن يرد الله أن يهديه يشرح صدره للإسلام ومن يرد أن يضله يجعل صدره ضيقا حرجا كأنما يصعد في السماء كذلك يجعل الله الرجس على الذين لا يؤمنون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 125)
وَ یَوۡمَ یَحۡشُرُہُمۡ جَمِیۡعًا ۚ یٰمَعۡشَرَ الۡجِنِّ قَدِ اسۡتَکۡثَرۡتُمۡ مِّنَ الۡاِنۡسِ ۚ وَ قَالَ اَوۡلِیٰٓؤُہُمۡ مِّنَ الۡاِنۡسِ رَبَّنَا اسۡتَمۡتَعَ بَعۡضُنَا بِبَعۡضٍ وَّ بَلَغۡنَاۤ اَجَلَنَا الَّذِیۡۤ اَجَّلۡتَ لَنَا ؕ قَالَ النَّارُ مَثۡوٰىکُمۡ خٰلِدِیۡنَ فِیۡہَاۤ اِلَّا مَا شَآءَ اللّٰہُ ؕ اِنَّ رَبَّکَ حَکِیۡمٌ عَلِیۡمٌ ﴿۱۲۸﴾
128. On the Day when He would assemble them all together, (He shall say:) ‘O company of jinn! You have misled many of the humans.’ Their friends from among the humans will say: ‘Our Lord! We benefited from one another, and (now) we have reached our term which You had appointed for us.’ He will say: ‘The Fire is your abode, to remain in it forever, except what Allah may wish. Indeed, your Lord is All-Wise, All-Knowing.’
ويوم يحشرهم جميعا يا معشر الجن قد استكثرتم من الإنس وقال أوليآؤهم من الإنس ربنا استمتع بعضنا ببعض وبلغنا أجلنا الذي أجلت لنا قال النار مثواكم خالدين فيها إلا ما شاء الله إن ربك حكيم عليم
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 128)
یٰمَعۡشَرَ الۡجِنِّ وَ الۡاِنۡسِ اَلَمۡ یَاۡتِکُمۡ رُسُلٌ مِّنۡکُمۡ یَقُصُّوۡنَ عَلَیۡکُمۡ اٰیٰتِیۡ وَ یُنۡذِرُوۡنَکُمۡ لِقَآءَ یَوۡمِکُمۡ ہٰذَا ؕ قَالُوۡا شَہِدۡنَا عَلٰۤی اَنۡفُسِنَا وَ غَرَّتۡہُمُ الۡحَیٰوۃُ الدُّنۡیَا وَ شَہِدُوۡا عَلٰۤی اَنۡفُسِہِمۡ اَنَّہُمۡ کَانُوۡا کٰفِرِیۡنَ ﴿۱۳۰﴾
130. (Allah will ask:) ‘O company of jinn and humans! Did messengers not come to you from yourselves, proclaiming My revelations to you and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours?’ They will say: ‘We testify against ourselves.’ The life of this world had deceived them, and they would bear witness against themselves that they had been disbelievers.
يا معشر الجن والإنس ألم يأتكم رسل منكم يقصون عليكم آياتي وينذرونكم لقاء يومكم هـذا قالوا شهدنا على أنفسنا وغرتهم الحياة الدنيا وشهدوا على أنفسهم أنهم كانوا كافرين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 130)
ذٰلِکَ اَنۡ لَّمۡ یَکُنۡ رَّبُّکَ مُہۡلِکَ الۡقُرٰی بِظُلۡمٍ وَّ اَہۡلُہَا غٰفِلُوۡنَ ﴿۱۳۱﴾
131. This (sending of messengers) is because your Lord would never destroy towns unjustly while their people were unaware (of the truth).
ذلك أن لم يكن ربك مهلك القرى بظلم وأهلها غافلون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 131)
وَ رَبُّکَ الۡغَنِیُّ ذُو الرَّحۡمَۃِ ؕ اِنۡ یَّشَاۡ یُذۡہِبۡکُمۡ وَ یَسۡتَخۡلِفۡ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِکُمۡ مَّا یَشَآءُ کَمَاۤ اَنۡشَاَکُمۡ مِّنۡ ذُرِّیَّۃِ قَوۡمٍ اٰخَرِیۡنَ ﴿۱۳۳﴾ؕ
133. Your Lord is All-Sufficient, the Lord of Mercy. If He wishes, He can remove you and make whomever He pleases to succeed you in your place, just as He raised you from other people’s offspring.
وربك الغني ذو الرحمة إن يشأ يذهبكم ويستخلف من بعدكم ما يشاء كمآ أنشأكم من ذرية قوم آخرين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 133)
قُلۡ یٰقَوۡمِ اعۡمَلُوۡا عَلٰی مَکَانَتِکُمۡ اِنِّیۡ عَامِلٌ ۚ فَسَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ۙ مَنۡ تَکُوۡنُ لَہٗ عَاقِبَۃُ الدَّارِ ؕ اِنَّہٗ لَا یُفۡلِحُ الظّٰلِمُوۡنَ ﴿۱۳۵﴾
135. Say: ‘O my people! Work according to your ability; I, (too), am working (accordingly). You will soon realise who will have (a good end of) the ultimate abode. Indeed, the unjust will never prosper.’
قل يا قوم اعملوا على مكانتكم إني عامل فسوف تعلمون من تكون له عاقبة الدار إنه لا يفلح الظالمون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 135)
وَ جَعَلُوۡا لِلّٰہِ مِمَّا ذَرَاَ مِنَ الۡحَرۡثِ وَ الۡاَنۡعَامِ نَصِیۡبًا فَقَالُوۡا ہٰذَا لِلّٰہِ بِزَعۡمِہِمۡ وَ ہٰذَا لِشُرَکَآئِنَا ۚ فَمَا کَانَ لِشُرَکَآئِہِمۡ فَلَا یَصِلُ اِلَی اللّٰہِ ۚ وَ مَا کَانَ لِلّٰہِ فَہُوَ یَصِلُ اِلٰی شُرَکَآئِہِمۡ ؕ سَآءَ مَا یَحۡکُمُوۡنَ ﴿۱۳۶﴾
136. They dedicate to Allah a share of the crops and cattle He has created and say: ‘This belongs to Allah,’ as they claim, ‘and this belongs to our partners.’ But what is for their partners does not reach Allah, and what is for Allah reaches their partners. Evil indeed is the judgement they make!
وجعلوا لله مما ذرأ من الحرث والأنعام نصيبا فقالوا هـذا لله بزعمهم وهـذا لشركآئنا فما كان لشركآئهم فلا يصل إلى الله وما كان لله فهو يصل إلى شركآئهم ساء ما يحكمون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 136)
وَ کَذٰلِکَ زَیَّنَ لِکَثِیۡرٍ مِّنَ الۡمُشۡرِکِیۡنَ قَتۡلَ اَوۡلَادِہِمۡ شُرَکَآؤُہُمۡ لِیُرۡدُوۡہُمۡ وَ لِیَلۡبِسُوۡا عَلَیۡہِمۡ دِیۡنَہُمۡ ؕ وَ لَوۡ شَآءَ اللّٰہُ مَا فَعَلُوۡہُ فَذَرۡہُمۡ وَ مَا یَفۡتَرُوۡنَ ﴿۱۳۷﴾
137. Likewise, their partners have made the killing of their children fair-seeming to many of the polytheists so that they may destroy them and confuse them in their religion. Had Allah willed, they would not have done it. So, leave them with what they fabricate.
وكذلك زين لكثير من المشركين قتل أولادهم شركآؤهم ليردوهم وليلبسوا عليهم دينهم ولو شاء الله ما فعلوه فذرهم وما يفترون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 137)
وَ قَالُوۡا ہٰذِہٖۤ اَنۡعَامٌ وَّ حَرۡثٌ حِجۡرٌ ٭ۖ لَّا یَطۡعَمُہَاۤ اِلَّا مَنۡ نَّشَآءُ بِزَعۡمِہِمۡ وَ اَنۡعَامٌ حُرِّمَتۡ ظُہُوۡرُہَا وَ اَنۡعَامٌ لَّا یَذۡکُرُوۡنَ اسۡمَ اللّٰہِ عَلَیۡہَا افۡتِرَآءً عَلَیۡہِ ؕ سَیَجۡزِیۡہِمۡ بِمَا کَانُوۡا یَفۡتَرُوۡنَ ﴿۱۳۸﴾
138. And they say: ‘These cattle and crops are prohibited; no one can eat them except whom we please,’ as they claim. And there are cattle whose backs are forbidden and cattle over which they do not invoke Allah’s name (during slaughter), falsely attributing these (regulations) to Him. Soon, He will recompense them for what they used to fabricate.
وقالوا هـذه أنعام وحرث حجر لا يطعمها إلا من نشاء بزعمهم وأنعام حرمت ظهورها وأنعام لا يذكرون اسم الله عليها افتراء عليه سيجزيهم بما كانوا يفترون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 138)
وَ قَالُوۡا مَا فِیۡ بُطُوۡنِ ہٰذِہِ الۡاَنۡعَامِ خَالِصَۃٌ لِّذُکُوۡرِنَا وَ مُحَرَّمٌ عَلٰۤی اَزۡوَاجِنَا ۚ وَ اِنۡ یَّکُنۡ مَّیۡتَۃً فَہُمۡ فِیۡہِ شُرَکَآءُ ؕ سَیَجۡزِیۡہِمۡ وَصۡفَہُمۡ ؕ اِنَّہٗ حَکِیۡمٌ عَلِیۡمٌ ﴿۱۳۹﴾
139. They (also) say: ‘Whatever is in the wombs of these cattle is reserved for our males and forbidden to our wives. But if it is stillborn, then they are all partners in it. He will soon repay them for their (false) attribution (to Him). Indeed, He is All-Wise, All-Knowing.
وقالوا ما في بطون هـذه الأنعام خالصة لذكورنا ومحرم على أزواجنا وإن يكن ميتة فهم فيه شركاء سيجزيهم وصفهم إنه حكيم عليم
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 139)
قَدۡ خَسِرَ الَّذِیۡنَ قَتَلُوۡۤا اَوۡلَادَہُمۡ سَفَہًۢا بِغَیۡرِ عِلۡمٍ وَّ حَرَّمُوۡا مَا رَزَقَہُمُ اللّٰہُ افۡتِرَآءً عَلَی اللّٰہِ ؕ قَدۡ ضَلُّوۡا وَ مَا کَانُوۡا مُہۡتَدِیۡنَ ﴿۱۴۰﴾٪
140. Certainly, ruined are those who kill their children foolishly without knowledge and who forbid what Allah has provided them, fabricating lies against Allah. They have indeed gone astray and are not guided.
قد خسر الذين قتلوا أولادهم سفها بغير علم وحرموا ما رزقهم الله افتراء على الله قد ضلوا وما كانوا مهتدين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 140)
وَ ہُوَ الَّذِیۡۤ اَنۡشَاَ جَنّٰتٍ مَّعۡرُوۡشٰتٍ وَّ غَیۡرَ مَعۡرُوۡشٰتٍ وَّ النَّخۡلَ وَ الزَّرۡعَ مُخۡتَلِفًا اُکُلُہٗ وَ الزَّیۡتُوۡنَ وَ الرُّمَّانَ مُتَشَابِہًا وَّ غَیۡرَ مُتَشَابِہٍ ؕ کُلُوۡا مِنۡ ثَمَرِہٖۤ اِذَاۤ اَثۡمَرَ وَ اٰتُوۡا حَقَّہٗ یَوۡمَ حَصَادِہٖ ۫ۖ وَ لَا تُسۡرِفُوۡا ؕ اِنَّہٗ لَا یُحِبُّ الۡمُسۡرِفِیۡنَ ﴿۱۴۱﴾ۙ
141. He is the One Who produces gardens including climbing and non-climbing plants, date palms and crops with diverse fruits, olives, and pomegranates—similar and dissimilar. Eat the fruits of these crops when they grow and pay its due on the day of its harvest. And do not be wasteful. Indeed, Allah does not like the wasteful.
وهو الذي أنشأ جنات معروشات وغير معروشات والنخل والزرع مختلفا أكله والزيتون والرمان متشابها وغير متشابه كلوا من ثمره إذا أثمر وآتوا حقه يوم حصاده ولا تسرفوا إنه لا يحب المسرفين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 141)
وَ مِنَ الۡاَنۡعَامِ حَمُوۡلَۃً وَّ فَرۡشًا ؕ کُلُوۡا مِمَّا رَزَقَکُمُ اللّٰہُ وَ لَا تَتَّبِعُوۡا خُطُوٰتِ الشَّیۡطٰنِ ؕ اِنَّہٗ لَکُمۡ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِیۡنٌ ﴿۱۴۲﴾ۙ
142. And (He produces) the livestock, (some) for burden and (some) for slaughter. Eat what Allah has provided you. And do not follow in the footsteps of Satan. He is indeed your clear enemy.
ومن الأنعام حمولة وفرشا كلوا مما رزقكم الله ولا تتبعوا خطوات الشيطان إنه لكم عدو مبين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 142)
ثَمٰنِیَۃَ اَزۡوَاجٍ ۚ مِنَ الضَّاۡنِ اثۡنَیۡنِ وَ مِنَ الۡمَعۡزِ اثۡنَیۡنِ ؕ قُلۡ ءٰٓالذَّکَرَیۡنِ حَرَّمَ اَمِ الۡاُنۡثَیَیۡنِ اَمَّا اشۡتَمَلَتۡ عَلَیۡہِ اَرۡحَامُ الۡاُنۡثَیَیۡنِ ؕ نَبِّـُٔوۡنِیۡ بِعِلۡمٍ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ صٰدِقِیۡنَ ﴿۱۴۳﴾ۙ
143. (Allah has created) eight animals in (four) pairs: a pair of sheep and a pair of goats. Say (to them): ‘Is it the two males that He has forbidden or the two females, or that which the wombs of the two females contain? Tell me with (sound) knowledge if you are truthful.’
ثمانية أزواج من الضأن اثنين ومن المعز اثنين قل آلذكرين حرم أم الأنثيين أما اشتملت عليه أرحام الأنثيين نبؤوني بعلم إن كنتم صادقين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 143)
وَ مِنَ الۡاِبِلِ اثۡنَیۡنِ وَ مِنَ الۡبَقَرِ اثۡنَیۡنِ ؕ قُلۡ ءٰٓالذَّکَرَیۡنِ حَرَّمَ اَمِ الۡاُنۡثَیَیۡنِ اَمَّا اشۡتَمَلَتۡ عَلَیۡہِ اَرۡحَامُ الۡاُنۡثَیَیۡنِ ؕ اَمۡ کُنۡتُمۡ شُہَدَآءَ اِذۡ وَصّٰکُمُ اللّٰہُ بِہٰذَا ۚ فَمَنۡ اَظۡلَمُ مِمَّنِ افۡتَرٰی عَلَی اللّٰہِ کَذِبًا لِّیُضِلَّ النَّاسَ بِغَیۡرِ عِلۡمٍ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ لَا یَہۡدِی الۡقَوۡمَ الظّٰلِمِیۡنَ ﴿۱۴۴﴾٪
144. And a pair of camels and a pair of cattle. Say: ‘Is it the two males that He has forbidden or the two females, or that which the wombs of the two females contain? Were you present when Allah gave you this command?’ So, who is a greater wrongdoer than he who fabricates a lie against Allah to mislead the people without any knowledge? Indeed, Allah does not guide unjust people.
ومن الإبل اثنين ومن البقر اثنين قل آلذكرين حرم أم الأنثيين أما اشتملت عليه أرحام الأنثيين أم كنتم شهداء إذ وصاكم الله بهـذا فمن أظلم ممن افترى على الله كذبا ليضل الناس بغير علم إن الله لا يهدي القوم الظالمين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 144)
قُلۡ لَّاۤ اَجِدُ فِیۡ مَاۤ اُوۡحِیَ اِلَیَّ مُحَرَّمًا عَلٰی طَاعِمٍ یَّطۡعَمُہٗۤ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡ یَّکُوۡنَ مَیۡتَۃً اَوۡ دَمًا مَّسۡفُوۡحًا اَوۡ لَحۡمَ خِنۡزِیۡرٍ فَاِنَّہٗ رِجۡسٌ اَوۡ فِسۡقًا اُہِلَّ لِغَیۡرِ اللّٰہِ بِہٖ ۚ فَمَنِ اضۡطُرَّ غَیۡرَ بَاغٍ وَّ لَا عَادٍ فَاِنَّ رَبَّکَ غَفُوۡرٌ رَّحِیۡمٌ ﴿۱۴۵﴾
145. Say: ‘I do not find in what has been revealed to me anything forbidden for an eater to eat except carrion, or flowing blood, or flesh of swine, for that is surely impure, or a sinful offering over which any name other than Allah has been invoked during slaughter. But if someone is compelled by extreme necessity, without wilfully disobeying or exceeding the limit, then surely your Lord is Most-Forgiving, All-Merciful.’
قل لا أجد في ما أوحي إلي محرما على طاعم يطعمه إلا أن يكون ميتة أو دما مسفوحا أو لحم خنـزير فإنه رجس أو فسقا أهل لغير الله به فمن اضطر غير باغ ولا عاد فإن ربك غفور رحيم
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 145)
وَ عَلَی الَّذِیۡنَ ہَادُوۡا حَرَّمۡنَا کُلَّ ذِیۡ ظُفُرٍ ۚ وَ مِنَ الۡبَقَرِ وَ الۡغَنَمِ حَرَّمۡنَا عَلَیۡہِمۡ شُحُوۡمَہُمَاۤ اِلَّا مَا حَمَلَتۡ ظُہُوۡرُہُمَاۤ اَوِ الۡحَوَایَاۤ اَوۡ مَا اخۡتَلَطَ بِعَظۡمٍ ؕ ذٰلِکَ جَزَیۡنٰہُمۡ بِبَغۡیِہِمۡ ۫ۖ وَ اِنَّا لَصٰدِقُوۡنَ ﴿۱۴۶﴾
146. And for the Jews, We forbade every animal with claws. And We forbade the fat of cattle and sheep, except what is carried by their backs or (mixed with) the internal organs, or what is attached to the bones. Thus, We recompensed them for their rebellion, and indeed, We are Truthful.
وعلى الذين هادوا حرمنا كل ذي ظفر ومن البقر والغنم حرمنا عليهم شحومهما إلا ما حملت ظهورهما أو الحوايا أو ما اختلط بعظم ذلك جزيناهم ببغيهم وإنا لصادقون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 146)
فَاِنۡ کَذَّبُوۡکَ فَقُلۡ رَّبُّکُمۡ ذُوۡ رَحۡمَۃٍ وَّاسِعَۃٍ ۚ وَ لَا یُرَدُّ بَاۡسُہٗ عَنِ الۡقَوۡمِ الۡمُجۡرِمِیۡنَ ﴿۱۴۷﴾
147. If they reject you, say: ‘Your Lord is the Possessor of an expansive mercy, yet His punishment will not be averted from the wicked people.’
فإن كذبوك فقل ربكم ذو رحمة واسعة ولا يرد بأسه عن القوم المجرمين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 147)
سَیَقُوۡلُ الَّذِیۡنَ اَشۡرَکُوۡا لَوۡ شَآءَ اللّٰہُ مَاۤ اَشۡرَکۡنَا وَ لَاۤ اٰبَآؤُنَا وَ لَا حَرَّمۡنَا مِنۡ شَیۡءٍ ؕ کَذٰلِکَ کَذَّبَ الَّذِیۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِہِمۡ حَتّٰی ذَاقُوۡا بَاۡسَنَا ؕ قُلۡ ہَلۡ عِنۡدَکُمۡ مِّنۡ عِلۡمٍ فَتُخۡرِجُوۡہُ لَنَا ؕ اِنۡ تَتَّبِعُوۡنَ اِلَّا الظَّنَّ وَ اِنۡ اَنۡتُمۡ اِلَّا تَخۡرُصُوۡنَ ﴿۱۴۸﴾
148. The polytheists will say: ‘If Allah had willed, we would not have ascribed partners (to Him), nor our fathers, nor would we have forbidden anything.’ In the same way, those who were before them had continually rejected (the truth) until they tasted Our punishment. Say: ‘Do you have any (revealed) knowledge that you can produce before us? You follow nothing except (false) assumptions, and you do nothing but lie.’
سيقول الذين أشركوا لو شاء الله ما أشركنا ولا آباؤنا ولا حرمنا من شيء كذلك كذب الذين من قبلهم حتى ذاقوا بأسنا قل هل عندكم من علم فتخرجوه لنا إن تتبعون إلا الظن وإن أنتم إلا تخرصون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 148)
قُلۡ فَلِلّٰہِ الۡحُجَّۃُ الۡبَالِغَۃُ ۚ فَلَوۡ شَآءَ لَہَدٰىکُمۡ اَجۡمَعِیۡنَ ﴿۱۴۹﴾
149. Say: ‘To Allah belongs the conclusive argument. If Allah had wished, He would have surely guided you all.’*
* Allah has distinguished truth from falsehood, explaining the consequences of both. Then, He gives everyone the freedom to choose his way and holds him accountable for his doings in the Hereafter. This freedom makes everyone worthy of reward or liable for punishment according to his deeds.
قل فلله الحجة البالغة فلو شاء لهداكم أجمعين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 149)
قُلۡ ہَلُمَّ شُہَدَآءَکُمُ الَّذِیۡنَ یَشۡہَدُوۡنَ اَنَّ اللّٰہَ حَرَّمَ ہٰذَا ۚ فَاِنۡ شَہِدُوۡا فَلَا تَشۡہَدۡ مَعَہُمۡ ۚ وَ لَا تَتَّبِعۡ اَہۡوَآءَ الَّذِیۡنَ کَذَّبُوۡا بِاٰیٰتِنَا وَ الَّذِیۡنَ لَا یُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِالۡاٰخِرَۃِ وَ ہُمۡ بِرَبِّہِمۡ یَعۡدِلُوۡنَ ﴿۱۵۰﴾٪
150. Say: ‘Bring your witnesses who may testify that Allah has forbidden this.’ So if they (falsely) testify, do not testify with them, and do not follow the desires of those who have rejected Our revelations, and those who do not believe in the Hereafter and have set up equals with their Lord.
قل هلم شهداءكم الذين يشهدون أن الله حرم هـذا فإن شهدوا فلا تشهد معهم ولا تتبع أهواء الذين كذبوا بآياتنا والذين لا يؤمنون بالآخرة وهم بربهم يعدلون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 150)
قُلۡ تَعَالَوۡا اَتۡلُ مَا حَرَّمَ رَبُّکُمۡ عَلَیۡکُمۡ اَلَّا تُشۡرِکُوۡا بِہٖ شَیۡئًا وَّ بِالۡوَالِدَیۡنِ اِحۡسَانًا ۚ وَ لَا تَقۡتُلُوۡۤا اَوۡلَادَکُمۡ مِّنۡ اِمۡلَاقٍ ؕ نَحۡنُ نَرۡزُقُکُمۡ وَ اِیَّاہُمۡ ۚ وَ لَا تَقۡرَبُوا الۡفَوَاحِشَ مَا ظَہَرَ مِنۡہَا وَ مَا بَطَنَ ۚ وَ لَا تَقۡتُلُوا النَّفۡسَ الَّتِیۡ حَرَّمَ اللّٰہُ اِلَّا بِالۡحَقِّ ؕ ذٰلِکُمۡ وَصّٰکُمۡ بِہٖ لَعَلَّکُمۡ تَعۡقِلُوۡنَ ﴿۱۵۱﴾
151. Say: ‘Come! I will recite (to you) what your Lord has forbidden you from. That you should not ascribe anything as a partner to Him; that you should be virtuous to (your) parents; that you should not kill your children fearing poverty—We will provide for you and for them—that you should not come near indecencies, the outward among them or the inward; and that you should not kill any soul that Allah has made inviolable, except through lawful means. That is what He has commanded you so that you may understand.’
قل تعالوا أتل ما حرم ربكم عليكم ألا تشركوا به شيئا وبالوالدين إحسانا ولا تقتلوا أولادكم من إملاق نحن نرزقكم وإياهم ولا تقربوا الفواحش ما ظهر منها وما بطن ولا تقتلوا النفس التي حرم الله إلا بالحق ذلكم وصاكم به لعلكم تعقلون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 151)
وَ لَا تَقۡرَبُوۡا مَالَ الۡیَتِیۡمِ اِلَّا بِالَّتِیۡ ہِیَ اَحۡسَنُ حَتّٰی یَبۡلُغَ اَشُدَّہٗ ۚ وَ اَوۡفُوا الۡکَیۡلَ وَ الۡمِیۡزَانَ بِالۡقِسۡطِ ۚ لَا نُکَلِّفُ نَفۡسًا اِلَّا وُسۡعَہَا ۚ وَ اِذَا قُلۡتُمۡ فَاعۡدِلُوۡا وَ لَوۡ کَانَ ذَا قُرۡبٰی ۚ وَ بِعَہۡدِ اللّٰہِ اَوۡفُوۡا ؕ ذٰلِکُمۡ وَصّٰکُمۡ بِہٖ لَعَلَّکُمۡ تَذَکَّرُوۡنَ ﴿۱۵۲﴾ۙ
152. And do not come near the orphan’s property, except in the best manner, till he reaches maturity; and observe fully the measure and the balance with justice. We do not task a soul beyond its capacity. And when you speak, be just, even if it be (against) a relative, and fulfil the covenant of Allah. That is what He has commanded you, so perhaps you may become mindful (of advice).
ولا تقربوا مال اليتيم إلا بالتي هي أحسن حتى يبلغ أشده وأوفوا الكيل والميزان بالقسط لا نكلف نفسا إلا وسعها وإذا قلتم فاعدلوا ولو كان ذا قربى وبعهد الله أوفوا ذلكم وصاكم به لعلكم تذكرون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 152)
وَ اَنَّ ہٰذَا صِرَاطِیۡ مُسۡتَقِیۡمًا فَاتَّبِعُوۡہُ ۚ وَ لَا تَتَّبِعُوا السُّبُلَ فَتَفَرَّقَ بِکُمۡ عَنۡ سَبِیۡلِہٖ ؕ ذٰلِکُمۡ وَصّٰکُمۡ بِہٖ لَعَلَّکُمۡ تَتَّقُوۡنَ ﴿۱۵۳﴾
153. And indeed, this is My path, perfectly straight—so follow it, and do not follow (other) ways, for they will separate you from His way. That is what He has commanded you, so perhaps you may become God-conscious.
وأن هـذا صراطي مستقيما فاتبعوه ولا تتبعوا السبل فتفرق بكم عن سبيله ذلكم وصاكم به لعلكم تتقون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 153)
ثُمَّ اٰتَیۡنَا مُوۡسَی الۡکِتٰبَ تَمَامًا عَلَی الَّذِیۡۤ اَحۡسَنَ وَ تَفۡصِیۡلًا لِّکُلِّ شَیۡءٍ وَّ ہُدًی وَّ رَحۡمَۃً لَّعَلَّہُمۡ بِلِقَآءِ رَبِّہِمۡ یُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ ﴿۱۵۴﴾٪
154. Then We gave the Book to Musa (Moses), to complete (Our blessings) upon those who are virtuous, and as an exposition of all things, and as a guide and a mercy, so that they may believe in the meeting with their Lord.
ثم آتينا موسى الكتاب تماما على الذي أحسن وتفصيلا لكل شيء وهدى ورحمة لعلهم بلقاء ربهم يؤمنون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 154)
وَ ہٰذَا کِتٰبٌ اَنۡزَلۡنٰہُ مُبٰرَکٌ فَاتَّبِعُوۡہُ وَ اتَّقُوۡا لَعَلَّکُمۡ تُرۡحَمُوۡنَ ﴿۱۵۵﴾ۙ
155. And this Book that We have revealed is a blessed one. So follow it and be God-conscious so that you may be shown (His) mercy.
وهـذا كتاب أنزلناه مبارك فاتبعوه واتقوا لعلكم ترحمون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 155)
اَنۡ تَقُوۡلُوۡۤا اِنَّمَاۤ اُنۡزِلَ الۡکِتٰبُ عَلٰی طَآئِفَتَیۡنِ مِنۡ قَبۡلِنَا ۪ وَ اِنۡ کُنَّا عَنۡ دِرَاسَتِہِمۡ لَغٰفِلِیۡنَ ﴿۱۵۶﴾ۙ
156. Lest you (pagans) say: ‘The Book was revealed only to two communities before us (i.e. the Jews and the Christians), and we were indeed unaware of their teachings.’
أن تقولوا إنما أنزل الكتاب على طآئفتين من قبلنا وإن كنا عن دراستهم لغافلين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 156)
اَوۡ تَقُوۡلُوۡا لَوۡ اَنَّاۤ اُنۡزِلَ عَلَیۡنَا الۡکِتٰبُ لَکُنَّاۤ اَہۡدٰی مِنۡہُمۡ ۚ فَقَدۡ جَآءَکُمۡ بَیِّنَۃٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّکُمۡ وَ ہُدًی وَّ رَحۡمَۃٌ ۚ فَمَنۡ اَظۡلَمُ مِمَّنۡ کَذَّبَ بِاٰیٰتِ اللّٰہِ وَ صَدَفَ عَنۡہَا ؕ سَنَجۡزِی الَّذِیۡنَ یَصۡدِفُوۡنَ عَنۡ اٰیٰتِنَا سُوۡٓءَ الۡعَذَابِ بِمَا کَانُوۡا یَصۡدِفُوۡنَ ﴿۱۵۷﴾
157. Or lest you say: ‘If the Book had been revealed to us, we would have been better guided than they.’ Now, manifest proof, guidance, and mercy have come to you from your Lord. So, who is more unjust than he who rejects Allah’s revelations and turns away from them? We shall soon recompense those who turn away from Our revelations with a terrible punishment because of what they used to evade.
أو تقولوا لو أنا أنزل علينا الكتاب لكنا أهدى منهم فقد جاءكم بينة من ربكم وهدى ورحمة فمن أظلم ممن كذب بآيات الله وصدف عنها سنجزي الذين يصدفون عن آياتنا سوء العذاب بما كانوا يصدفون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 157)
ہَلۡ یَنۡظُرُوۡنَ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡ تَاۡتِیَہُمُ الۡمَلٰٓئِکَۃُ اَوۡ یَاۡتِیَ رَبُّکَ اَوۡ یَاۡتِیَ بَعۡضُ اٰیٰتِ رَبِّکَ ؕ یَوۡمَ یَاۡتِیۡ بَعۡضُ اٰیٰتِ رَبِّکَ لَا یَنۡفَعُ نَفۡسًا اِیۡمَانُہَا لَمۡ تَکُنۡ اٰمَنَتۡ مِنۡ قَبۡلُ اَوۡ کَسَبَتۡ فِیۡۤ اِیۡمَانِہَا خَیۡرًا ؕ قُلِ انۡتَظِرُوۡۤا اِنَّا مُنۡتَظِرُوۡنَ ﴿۱۵۸﴾
158. Are they waiting for the (very) angels to come to them, or your Lord to come (Himself), or some (special) signs of your Lord to come? The day when some (special) signs of your Lord do come, belief shall not benefit any soul that did not believe beforehand and did not earn some goodness in its belief. Say: ‘Wait! We (too) are waiting.’
هل ينظرون إلا أن تأتيهم الملآئكة أو يأتي ربك أو يأتي بعض آيات ربك يوم يأتي بعض آيات ربك لا ينفع نفسا إيمانها لم تكن آمنت من قبل أو كسبت في إيمانها خيرا قل انتظروا إنا منتظرون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 158)
اِنَّ الَّذِیۡنَ فَرَّقُوۡا دِیۡنَہُمۡ وَ کَانُوۡا شِیَعًا لَّسۡتَ مِنۡہُمۡ فِیۡ شَیۡءٍ ؕ اِنَّمَاۤ اَمۡرُہُمۡ اِلَی اللّٰہِ ثُمَّ یُنَبِّئُہُمۡ بِمَا کَانُوۡا یَفۡعَلُوۡنَ ﴿۱۵۹﴾
159. Indeed, those who split up their religion and become sects, you have nothing to do with them. Their case rests only with Allah. Then, He will inform them about what they used to do.
إن الذين فرقوا دينهم وكانوا شيعا لست منهم في شيء إنما أمرهم إلى الله ثم ينبئهم بما كانوا يفعلون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 159)
مَنۡ جَآءَ بِالۡحَسَنَۃِ فَلَہٗ عَشۡرُ اَمۡثَالِہَا ۚ وَ مَنۡ جَآءَ بِالسَّیِّئَۃِ فَلَا یُجۡزٰۤی اِلَّا مِثۡلَہَا وَ ہُمۡ لَا یُظۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿۱۶۰﴾
160. Whoever brings a good deed shall receive ten times the like of it, and whoever brings an evil deed shall not be recompensed except the like of it. And they shall not be wronged.
من جاء بالحسنة فله عشر أمثالها ومن جاء بالسيئة فلا يجزى إلا مثلها وهم لا يظلمون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 160)
قُلۡ اِنَّنِیۡ ہَدٰىنِیۡ رَبِّیۡۤ اِلٰی صِرَاطٍ مُّسۡتَقِیۡمٍ ۬ۚ دِیۡنًا قِیَمًا مِّلَّۃَ اِبۡرٰہِیۡمَ حَنِیۡفًا ۚ وَ مَا کَانَ مِنَ الۡمُشۡرِکِیۡنَ ﴿۱۶۱﴾
161. Say: ‘Indeed, my Lord has guided me to a straight path, the upright religion, the religion of Ibrahim (Abraham), the man of pure faith. And he was not among the polytheists.’
قل إنني هداني ربي إلى صراط مستقيم دينا قيما ملة إبراهيم حنيفا وما كان من المشركين
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 161)
قُلۡ اَغَیۡرَ اللّٰہِ اَبۡغِیۡ رَبًّا وَّ ہُوَ رَبُّ کُلِّ شَیۡءٍ ؕ وَ لَا تَکۡسِبُ کُلُّ نَفۡسٍ اِلَّا عَلَیۡہَا ۚ وَ لَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَۃٌ وِّزۡرَ اُخۡرٰی ۚ ثُمَّ اِلٰی رَبِّکُمۡ مَّرۡجِعُکُمۡ فَیُنَبِّئُکُمۡ بِمَا کُنۡتُمۡ فِیۡہِ تَخۡتَلِفُوۡنَ ﴿۱۶۴﴾
164. Say: ‘Shall I seek a Lord other than Allah, while He is the Lord of everything?’ No soul commits evil but against itself, and no bearer shall bear the burden of another. Then, to your Lord is your (ultimate) return. And He will inform you regarding that over which you used to differ.’
قل أغير الله أبغي ربا وهو رب كل شيء ولا تكسب كل نفس إلا عليها ولا تزر وازرة وزر أخرى ثم إلى ربكم مرجعكم فينبئكم بما كنتم فيه تختلفون
(الْأَنْعَام، 6 : 164)
وَ ہُوَ الَّذِیۡ جَعَلَکُمۡ خَلٰٓئِفَ الۡاَرۡضِ وَ رَفَعَ بَعۡضَکُمۡ فَوۡقَ بَعۡضٍ دَرَجٰتٍ لِّیَبۡلُوَکُمۡ فِیۡ مَاۤ اٰتٰکُمۡ ؕ اِنَّ رَبَّکَ سَرِیۡعُ الۡعِقَابِ ۫ۖ وَ اِنَّہٗ لَغَفُوۡرٌ رَّحِیۡمٌ ﴿۱۶۵﴾٪
