وَ لَمَّا رَجَعَ مُوۡسٰۤی اِلٰی قَوۡمِہٖ غَضۡبَانَ اَسِفًا ۙ قَالَ بِئۡسَمَا خَلَفۡتُمُوۡنِیۡ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِیۡ ۚ اَعَجِلۡتُمۡ اَمۡرَ رَبِّکُمۡ ۚ وَ اَلۡقَی الۡاَلۡوَاحَ وَ اَخَذَ بِرَاۡسِ اَخِیۡہِ یَجُرُّہٗۤ اِلَیۡہِ ؕ قَالَ ابۡنَ اُمَّ اِنَّ الۡقَوۡمَ اسۡتَضۡعَفُوۡنِیۡ وَ کَادُوۡا یَقۡتُلُوۡنَنِیۡ ۫ۖ فَلَا تُشۡمِتۡ بِیَ الۡاَعۡدَآءَ وَ لَا تَجۡعَلۡنِیۡ مَعَ الۡقَوۡمِ الظّٰلِمِیۡنَ ﴿۱۵۰﴾

150. And when Musa (Moses) returned to his people angry and aggrieved, he said: ‘How evil is the course you have followed after me? Were you so keen to bring your Lord’s judgement forward?’ He put down the Tablets (of the Torah) and seized his brother by the head, pulling him towards himself. He (Aaron) said: ‘O son of my mother! Indeed, people considered me weak, and they were about to kill me (on my forbidding). So let not the enemies rejoice over me, and do not count me among the wrongdoing people.’
