In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the All-Merciful
یُنَزِّلُ الۡمَلٰٓئِکَۃَ بِالرُّوۡحِ مِنۡ اَمۡرِہٖ عَلٰی مَنۡ یَّشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِہٖۤ اَنۡ اَنۡذِرُوۡۤا اَنَّہٗ لَاۤ اِلٰہَ اِلَّاۤ اَنَا فَاتَّقُوۡنِ ﴿۲﴾
2. He sends down the angels with the Spirit of His Command (i.e. revelation and Prophethood) on whom He pleases among His servants (saying): ‘Warn (the people) that there is no god except Me. So be conscious of Me.’
ينزل الملآئكة بالروح من أمره على من يشاء من عباده أن أنذروا أنه لا إلـه إلا أنا فاتقون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 2)
خَلَقَ الۡاِنۡسَانَ مِنۡ نُّطۡفَۃٍ فَاِذَا ہُوَ خَصِیۡمٌ مُّبِیۡنٌ ﴿۴﴾
4. He created human being from a fertilised egg (i.e. a zygote*), yet he is an open opponent.
* In Arabic, the word ‘al-nutfa’ is mentioned, and it refers to a zygote, which is a mixture of male and female gametes. It is the new single cell formed after the union of a sperm and ovum.
خلق الإنسان من نطفة فإذا هو خصيم مبين
(النَّحْل، 16 : 4)
وَ الۡاَنۡعَامَ خَلَقَہَا ۚ لَکُمۡ فِیۡہَا دِفۡءٌ وَّ مَنَافِعُ وَ مِنۡہَا تَاۡکُلُوۡنَ ﴿۪۵﴾
5. And He created cattle: you have warmth in them* and (other) benefits, and you get food from some of them.
* That is through the garments made from their wool and leather.
والأنعام خلقها لكم فيها دفء ومنافع ومنها تأكلون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 5)
وَ تَحۡمِلُ اَثۡقَالَکُمۡ اِلٰی بَلَدٍ لَّمۡ تَکُوۡنُوۡا بٰلِغِیۡہِ اِلَّا بِشِقِّ الۡاَنۡفُسِ ؕ اِنَّ رَبَّکُمۡ لَرَءُوۡفٌ رَّحِیۡمٌ ۙ﴿۷﴾
7. And they carry your heavy loads to lands you could not reach except by straining yourselves. Indeed, your Lord is Most Kind, All-Merciful.
وتحمل أثقالكم إلى بلد لم تكونوا بالغيه إلا بشق الأنفس إن ربكم لرؤوف رحيم
(النَّحْل، 16 : 7)
وَّ الۡخَیۡلَ وَ الۡبِغَالَ وَ الۡحَمِیۡرَ لِتَرۡکَبُوۡہَا وَ زِیۡنَۃً ؕ وَ یَخۡلُقُ مَا لَا تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿۸﴾
8. And (He has created) horses, mules and donkeys for you to ride and as means of attraction. And He creates (many other animals) that you do not (yet) know.
والخيل والبغال والحمير لتركبوها وزينة ويخلق ما لا تعلمون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 8)
وَ عَلَی اللّٰہِ قَصۡدُ السَّبِیۡلِ وَ مِنۡہَا جَآئِرٌ ؕ وَ لَوۡ شَآءَ لَہَدٰىکُمۡ اَجۡمَعِیۡنَ ﴿٪۹﴾
9. And it is for Allah to show the straight path, and there are some deviating (ways). If He wished, He could have guided you all.
وعلى الله قصد السبيل ومنها جآئر ولو شاء لهداكم أجمعين
(النَّحْل، 16 : 9)
ہُوَ الَّذِیۡۤ اَنۡزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَآءِ مَآءً لَّکُمۡ مِّنۡہُ شَرَابٌ وَّ مِنۡہُ شَجَرٌ فِیۡہِ تُسِیۡمُوۡنَ ﴿۱۰﴾
10. He is the One Who sends down water from the sky, from which you get some drink, and some of it (is for) plantation, upon which you graze your cattle.
هو الذي أنزل من السماء ماء لكم منه شراب ومنه شجر فيه تسيمون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 10)
یُنۡۢبِتُ لَکُمۡ بِہِ الزَّرۡعَ وَ الزَّیۡتُوۡنَ وَ النَّخِیۡلَ وَ الۡاَعۡنَابَ وَ مِنۡ کُلِّ الثَّمَرٰتِ ؕ اِنَّ فِیۡ ذٰلِکَ لَاٰیَۃً لِّقَوۡمٍ یَّتَفَکَّرُوۡنَ ﴿۱۱﴾
11. He causes to grow for you thereby the crops, olives, palm trees, grapevines and fruits of all kinds. There is indeed a sign for people who reflect.
ينبت لكم به الزرع والزيتون والنخيل والأعناب ومن كل الثمرات إن في ذلك لآية لقوم يتفكرون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 11)
وَ سَخَّرَ لَکُمُ الَّیۡلَ وَ النَّہَارَ ۙ وَ الشَّمۡسَ وَ الۡقَمَرَ ؕ وَ النُّجُوۡمُ مُسَخَّرٰتٌۢ بِاَمۡرِہٖ ؕ اِنَّ فِیۡ ذٰلِکَ لَاٰیٰتٍ لِّقَوۡمٍ یَّعۡقِلُوۡنَ ﴿ۙ۱۲﴾
12. And He has subjected for you the night, the day, the sun and the moon. And the stars have (also) been subjected (for you) by His command. There are indeed signs in that for people who understand.
وسخر لكم الليل والنهار والشمس والقمر والنجوم مسخرات بأمره إن في ذلك لآيات لقوم يعقلون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 12)
وَ مَا ذَرَاَ لَکُمۡ فِی الۡاَرۡضِ مُخۡتَلِفًا اَلۡوَانُہٗ ؕ اِنَّ فِیۡ ذٰلِکَ لَاٰیَۃً لِّقَوۡمٍ یَّذَّکَّرُوۡنَ ﴿۱۳﴾
13. And whatever He has created for you on the earth, of different colours (and characteristics is also for your benefit). There is indeed a sign for people who accept admonition.
وما ذرأ لكم في الأرض مختلفا ألوانه إن في ذلك لآية لقوم يذكرون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 13)
وَ ہُوَ الَّذِیۡ سَخَّرَ الۡبَحۡرَ لِتَاۡکُلُوۡا مِنۡہُ لَحۡمًا طَرِیًّا وَّ تَسۡتَخۡرِجُوۡا مِنۡہُ حِلۡیَۃً تَلۡبَسُوۡنَہَا ۚ وَ تَرَی الۡفُلۡکَ مَوَاخِرَ فِیۡہِ وَ لِتَبۡتَغُوۡا مِنۡ فَضۡلِہٖ وَ لَعَلَّکُمۡ تَشۡکُرُوۡنَ ﴿۱۴﴾
14. And He is the One Who has subjected the sea that you may eat fresh meat (i.e. seafood) out of it, and extract from it ornaments (i.e. gems and pearls) that you wear (as jewellery). And you see the ships penetrating through it, and (this is so) that you may seek His Grace and give thanks.
وهو الذي سخر البحر لتأكلوا منه لحما طريا وتستخرجوا منه حلية تلبسونها وترى الفلك مواخر فيه ولتبتغوا من فضله ولعلكم تشكرون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 14)
وَ اَلۡقٰی فِی الۡاَرۡضِ رَوَاسِیَ اَنۡ تَمِیۡدَ بِکُمۡ وَ اَنۡہٰرًا وَّ سُبُلًا لَّعَلَّکُمۡ تَہۡتَدُوۡنَ ﴿ۙ۱۵﴾
15. And He has cast firm mountains in the earth lest it shakes beneath you. And (He has made) the rivers and pathways, so you may be guided (to reach your destination).
وألقى في الأرض رواسي أن تميد بكم وأنهارا وسبلا لعلكم تهتدون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 15)
وَ اِنۡ تَعُدُّوۡا نِعۡمَۃَ اللّٰہِ لَا تُحۡصُوۡہَا ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ لَغَفُوۡرٌ رَّحِیۡمٌ ﴿۱۸﴾
18. And if you were to count the blessings of Allah, you would never be able to count them. Indeed, Allah is Most-Forgiving, All-Merciful.
وإن تعدوا نعمة الله لا تحصوها إن الله لغفور رحيم
(النَّحْل، 16 : 18)
اِلٰـہُکُمۡ اِلٰہٌ وَّاحِدٌ ۚ فَالَّذِیۡنَ لَا یُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِالۡاٰخِرَۃِ قُلُوۡبُہُمۡ مُّنۡکِرَۃٌ وَّ ہُمۡ مُّسۡتَکۡبِرُوۡنَ ﴿۲۲﴾
22. Your God is (only) One God. Those who do not believe in the Hereafter—their hearts are deniers, and they are arrogant.
إلهكم إله واحد فالذين لا يؤمنون بالآخرة قلوبهم منكرة وهم مستكبرون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 22)
لَاجَرَمَ اَنَّ اللّٰہَ یَعۡلَمُ مَا یُسِرُّوۡنَ وَ مَا یُعۡلِنُوۡنَ ؕ اِنَّہٗ لَا یُحِبُّ الۡمُسۡتَکۡبِرِیۡنَ ﴿۲۳﴾
23. There is no doubt that Allah knows whatever they conceal and whatever they reveal. Indeed, He does not like the arrogant.
لا جرم أن الله يعلم ما يسرون وما يعلنون إنه لا يحب المستكبرين
(النَّحْل، 16 : 23)
لِیَحۡمِلُوۡۤا اَوۡزَارَہُمۡ کَامِلَۃً یَّوۡمَ الۡقِیٰمَۃِ ۙ وَ مِنۡ اَوۡزَارِ الَّذِیۡنَ یُضِلُّوۡنَہُمۡ بِغَیۡرِ عِلۡمٍ ؕ اَلَا سَآءَ مَا یَزِرُوۡنَ ﴿٪۲۵﴾
25. (This is so) that, on the Day of Resurrection, they may bear their entire burdens, as well as the burdens of those whom they mislead without knowledge. Beware! Evil is what they bear!
ليحملوا أوزارهم كاملة يوم القيامة ومن أوزار الذين يضلونهم بغير علم ألا ساء ما يزرون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 25)
قَدۡ مَکَرَ الَّذِیۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِہِمۡ فَاَتَی اللّٰہُ بُنۡیَانَہُمۡ مِّنَ الۡقَوَاعِدِ فَخَرَّ عَلَیۡہِمُ السَّقۡفُ مِنۡ فَوۡقِہِمۡ وَ اَتٰىہُمُ الۡعَذَابُ مِنۡ حَیۡثُ لَا یَشۡعُرُوۡنَ ﴿۲۶﴾
26. Those before them had also schemed, but Allah demolished their constructions from the foundation. So the roof collapsed upon them from above, and the punishment overtook them from where they could not perceive.
قد مكر الذين من قبلهم فأتى الله بنيانهم من القواعد فخر عليهم السقف من فوقهم وأتاهم العذاب من حيث لا يشعرون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 26)
ثُمَّ یَوۡمَ الۡقِیٰمَۃِ یُخۡزِیۡہِمۡ وَ یَقُوۡلُ اَیۡنَ شُرَکَآءِیَ الَّذِیۡنَ کُنۡتُمۡ تُشَآقُّوۡنَ فِیۡہِمۡ ؕ قَالَ الَّذِیۡنَ اُوۡتُوا الۡعِلۡمَ اِنَّ الۡخِزۡیَ الۡیَوۡمَ وَ السُّوۡٓءَ عَلَی الۡکٰفِرِیۡنَ ﴿ۙ۲۷﴾
27. Then, He will disgrace them on the Day of Resurrection and say: ‘Where are My (so-called) partners, on whose account you used to oppose (Me and the believers)?’ Those given knowledge will say: ‘Indeed, today, the disgrace and the distress are upon the disbelievers.’
ثم يوم القيامة يخزيهم ويقول أين شركآئي الذين كنتم تشاقون فيهم قال الذين أوتوا العلم إن الخزي اليوم والسوء على الكافرين
(النَّحْل، 16 : 27)
الَّذِیۡنَ تَتَوَفّٰىہُمُ الۡمَلٰٓئِکَۃُ ظَالِمِیۡۤ اَنۡفُسِہِمۡ ۪ فَاَلۡقَوُا السَّلَمَ مَا کُنَّا نَعۡمَلُ مِنۡ سُوۡٓءٍ ؕ بَلٰۤی اِنَّ اللّٰہَ عَلِیۡمٌۢ بِمَا کُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ ﴿۲۸﴾
28. Those whose souls the angels take away while they are wronging themselves will then offer submission (and say): ‘We were not committing any evil (in our life)!’ ‘Yes! Indeed Allah is All-Knowing of what you were doing!
الذين تتوفاهم الملائكة ظالمي أنفسهم فألقوا السلم ما كنا نعمل من سوء بلى إن الله عليم بما كنتم تعملون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 28)
وَ قِیۡلَ لِلَّذِیۡنَ اتَّقَوۡا مَاذَاۤ اَنۡزَلَ رَبُّکُمۡ ؕ قَالُوۡا خَیۡرًا ؕ لِلَّذِیۡنَ اَحۡسَنُوۡا فِیۡ ہٰذِہِ الدُّنۡیَا حَسَنَۃٌ ؕ وَ لَدَارُ الۡاٰخِرَۃِ خَیۡرٌ ؕ وَ لَنِعۡمَ دَارُ الۡمُتَّقِیۡنَ ﴿ۙ۳۰﴾
30. And it will be said to those who were God-conscious: ‘What did your Lord send down?’ They will say: ‘Goodness.’ For those who were excellent in goodness in this world, there will be a beautiful reward, and the abode of the Hereafter (for them) will be far better. The abode of the God-conscious is surely wonderful.
وقيل للذين اتقوا ماذا أنزل ربكم قالوا خيرا للذين أحسنوا في هذه الدنيا حسنة ولدار الآخرة خير ولنعم دار المتقين
(النَّحْل، 16 : 30)
جَنّٰتُ عَدۡنٍ یَّدۡخُلُوۡنَہَا تَجۡرِیۡ مِنۡ تَحۡتِہَا الۡاَنۡہٰرُ لَہُمۡ فِیۡہَا مَا یَشَآءُوۡنَ ؕ کَذٰلِکَ یَجۡزِی اللّٰہُ الۡمُتَّقِیۡنَ ﴿ۙ۳۱﴾
31. (These are) the Gardens of Eternity, which they will enter, with rivers flowing beneath them. There, they shall have whatever they desire. That is how Allah rewards those who are God-conscious.
جنات عدن يدخلونها تجري من تحتها الأنهار لهم فيها ما يشآؤون كذلك يجزي الله المتقين
(النَّحْل، 16 : 31)
الَّذِیۡنَ تَتَوَفّٰىہُمُ الۡمَلٰٓئِکَۃُ طَیِّبِیۡنَ ۙ یَقُوۡلُوۡنَ سَلٰمٌ عَلَیۡکُمُ ۙ ادۡخُلُوا الۡجَنَّۃَ بِمَا کُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ ﴿۳۲﴾
32. Those whose souls the angels take away while they are in a state of (goodness and) purity, they will say (to them): ‘Peace be upon you! Enter Paradise for what you have been doing.’
الذين تتوفاهم الملآئكة طيبين يقولون سلام عليكم ادخلوا الجنة بما كنتم تعملون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 32)
ہَلۡ یَنۡظُرُوۡنَ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡ تَاۡتِیَہُمُ الۡمَلٰٓئِکَۃُ اَوۡ یَاۡتِیَ اَمۡرُ رَبِّکَ ؕ کَذٰلِکَ فَعَلَ الَّذِیۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِہِمۡ ؕ وَ مَا ظَلَمَہُمُ اللّٰہُ وَ لٰکِنۡ کَانُوۡۤا اَنۡفُسَہُمۡ یَظۡلِمُوۡنَ ﴿۳۳﴾
33. Are they only waiting for the angels to come upon them, or should your Lord’s command come? Those who were before them did the same. Allah did not wrong them, but they used to wrong themselves.
هل ينظرون إلا أن تأتيهم الملائكة أو يأتي أمر ربك كذلك فعل الذين من قبلهم وما ظلمهم الله ولـكن كانوا أنفسهم يظلمون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 33)
فَاَصَابَہُمۡ سَیِّاٰتُ مَا عَمِلُوۡا وَ حَاقَ بِہِمۡ مَّا کَانُوۡا بِہٖ یَسۡتَہۡزِءُوۡنَ ﴿٪۳۴﴾
34. So the evil (consequences) of what they had earned afflicted them. And the very thing they used to ridicule surrounded them (with death).
فأصابهم سيئات ما عملوا وحاق بهم ما كانوا به يستهزؤون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 34)
وَ قَالَ الَّذِیۡنَ اَشۡرَکُوۡا لَوۡ شَآءَ اللّٰہُ مَا عَبَدۡنَا مِنۡ دُوۡنِہٖ مِنۡ شَیۡءٍ نَّحۡنُ وَ لَاۤ اٰبَآؤُنَا وَ لَا حَرَّمۡنَا مِنۡ دُوۡنِہٖ مِنۡ شَیۡءٍ ؕ کَذٰلِکَ فَعَلَ الَّذِیۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِہِمۡ ۚ فَہَلۡ عَلَی الرُّسُلِ اِلَّا الۡبَلٰغُ الۡمُبِیۡنُ ﴿۳۵﴾
35. And those who ascribe partners to Allah say: ‘If Allah had wished, we would not have worshipped anything besides Him—not us, nor our fathers—nor would we have forbidden anything without (permission from) Him.’ Those who were before them did the same. Is anything incumbent upon the messengers except the clear proclamation?
وقال الذين أشركوا لو شاء الله ما عبدنا من دونه من شيء نحن ولا آباؤنا ولا حرمنا من دونه من شيء كذلك فعل الذين من قبلهم فهل على الرسل إلا البلاغ المبين
(النَّحْل، 16 : 35)
وَ لَقَدۡ بَعَثۡنَا فِیۡ کُلِّ اُمَّۃٍ رَّسُوۡلًا اَنِ اعۡبُدُوا اللّٰہَ وَ اجۡتَنِبُوا الطَّاغُوۡتَ ۚ فَمِنۡہُمۡ مَّنۡ ہَدَی اللّٰہُ وَ مِنۡہُمۡ مَّنۡ حَقَّتۡ عَلَیۡہِ الضَّلٰلَۃُ ؕ فَسِیۡرُوۡا فِی الۡاَرۡضِ فَانۡظُرُوۡا کَیۡفَ کَانَ عَاقِبَۃُ الۡمُکَذِّبِیۡنَ ﴿۳۶﴾
36. We raised a messenger in every nation (to preach the message): ‘Worship Allah and keep away from false gods.’ So there were some of them whom Allah guided, and there were others among them who were deserving of error. So, travel through the land and observe how was the end of the deniers!
ولقد بعثنا في كل أمة رسولا أن اعبدوا الله واجتنبوا الطاغوت فمنهم من هدى الله ومنهم من حقت عليه الضلالة فسيروا في الأرض فانظروا كيف كان عاقبة المكذبين
(النَّحْل، 16 : 36)
اِنۡ تَحۡرِصۡ عَلٰی ہُدٰىہُمۡ فَاِنَّ اللّٰہَ لَا یَہۡدِیۡ مَنۡ یُّضِلُّ وَ مَا لَہُمۡ مِّنۡ نّٰصِرِیۡنَ ﴿۳۷﴾
37. Though you are eager for their guidance, Allah does not guide those who mislead (others). And they will have no helpers.
إن تحرص على هداهم فإن الله لا يهدي من يضل وما لهم من ناصرين
(النَّحْل، 16 : 37)
وَ اَقۡسَمُوۡا بِاللّٰہِ جَہۡدَ اَیۡمَانِہِمۡ ۙ لَا یَبۡعَثُ اللّٰہُ مَنۡ یَّمُوۡتُ ؕ بَلٰی وَعۡدًا عَلَیۡہِ حَقًّا وَّ لٰکِنَّ اَکۡثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا یَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿ۙ۳۸﴾
38. And they swear by Allah with their most solemn oaths that Allah will not resurrect those who die. Yes, indeed! It is a promise binding upon Him, but most people do not know.
وأقسموا بالله جهد أيمانهم لا يبعث الله من يموت بلى وعدا عليه حقا ولـكن أكثر الناس لا يعلمون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 38)
لِیُبَیِّنَ لَہُمُ الَّذِیۡ یَخۡتَلِفُوۡنَ فِیۡہِ وَ لِیَعۡلَمَ الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡۤا اَنَّہُمۡ کَانُوۡا کٰذِبِیۡنَ ﴿۳۹﴾
39. (It is) so that He may clarify to them what they differ about and that the disbelievers may know they were liars.
ليبين لهم الذي يختلفون فيه وليعلم الذين كفروا أنهم كانوا كاذبين
(النَّحْل، 16 : 39)
وَ الَّذِیۡنَ ہَاجَرُوۡا فِی اللّٰہِ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ مَا ظُلِمُوۡا لَـنُبَوِّئَنَّہُمۡ فِی الدُّنۡیَا حَسَنَۃً ؕ وَ لَاَجۡرُ الۡاٰخِرَۃِ اَکۡبَرُ ۘ لَوۡ کَانُوۡا یَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿ۙ۴۱﴾
41. And those who migrated for the sake of Allah after being persecuted, We will indeed settle them in a good place in this world. And surely the reward of the Hereafter is much greater, if only they knew.
والذين هاجروا في الله من بعد ما ظلموا لنبوئنهم في الدنيا حسنة ولأجر الآخرة أكبر لو كانوا يعلمون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 41)
وَ مَاۤ اَرۡسَلۡنَا مِنۡ قَبۡلِکَ اِلَّا رِجَالًا نُّوۡحِیۡۤ اِلَیۡہِمۡ فَسۡـَٔلُوۡۤا اَہۡلَ الذِّکۡرِ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ لَا تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿ۙ۴۳﴾
43. And We did not send (any messenger) before you, except men to whom We had revealed. Ask the People of the Reminder if you do not know.
وما أرسلنا من قبلك إلا رجالا نوحي إليهم فاسألوا أهل الذكر إن كنتم لا تعلمون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 43)
بِالۡبَیِّنٰتِ وَ الزُّبُرِ ؕ وَ اَنۡزَلۡنَاۤ اِلَیۡکَ الذِّکۡرَ لِتُبَیِّنَ لِلنَّاسِ مَا نُزِّلَ اِلَیۡہِمۡ وَ لَعَلَّہُمۡ یَتَفَکَّرُوۡنَ ﴿۴۴﴾
44. (We sent them) with clear proofs and Scriptures. And (Esteemed Prophet,) We have revealed the Reminder (i.e. the Qur’an) to you so that you may clearly explain to the people what has been sent down to them; perhaps they may reflect.
بالبينات والزبر وأنزلنا إليك الذكر لتبين للناس ما نزل إليهم ولعلهم يتفكرون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 44)
اَفَاَمِنَ الَّذِیۡنَ مَکَرُوا السَّیِّاٰتِ اَنۡ یَّخۡسِفَ اللّٰہُ بِہِمُ الۡاَرۡضَ اَوۡ یَاۡتِیَہُمُ الۡعَذَابُ مِنۡ حَیۡثُ لَا یَشۡعُرُوۡنَ ﴿ۙ۴۵﴾
45. Do those who have plotted evil deeds feel secure that Allah will not cause the earth to swallow them, or the punishment will not overtake them (suddenly) from where they do not perceive?
أفأمن الذين مكروا السيئات أن يخسف الله بهم الأرض أو يأتيهم العذاب من حيث لا يشعرون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 45)
اَوَ لَمۡ یَرَوۡا اِلٰی مَا خَلَقَ اللّٰہُ مِنۡ شَیۡءٍ یَّتَفَیَّؤُا ظِلٰلُہٗ عَنِ الۡیَمِیۡنِ وَ الشَّمَآئِلِ سُجَّدًا لِّلّٰہِ وَ ہُمۡ دٰخِرُوۡنَ ﴿۴۸﴾
48. Have they not considered that whatever Allah has created casts its shadow to the right and the left, prostrating to Allah in utter humility?
أو لم يروا إلى ما خلق الله من شيء يتفيأ ظلاله عن اليمين والشمآئل سجدا لله وهم داخرون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 48)
وَ لِلّٰہِ یَسۡجُدُ مَا فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ مَا فِی الۡاَرۡضِ مِنۡ دَآبَّۃٍ وَّ الۡمَلٰٓئِکَۃُ وَ ہُمۡ لَا یَسۡتَکۡبِرُوۡنَ ﴿۴۹﴾
49. To Allah prostrates whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth from the living creatures, as do the angels, who are not arrogant.
ولله يسجد ما في السماوات وما في الأرض من دآبة والملآئكة وهم لا يستكبرون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 49)
وَ قَالَ اللّٰہُ لَا تَتَّخِذُوۡۤا اِلٰـہَیۡنِ اثۡنَیۡنِ ۚ اِنَّمَا ہُوَ اِلٰہٌ وَّاحِدٌ ۚ فَاِیَّایَ فَارۡہَبُوۡنِ ﴿۵۱﴾
51. And Allah has said: ‘Do not take two gods. Truly, He is only One God. So you should be afraid of Me alone.’
وقال الله لا تتخذوا إلـهين اثنين إنما هو إله واحد فإياي فارهبون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 51)
وَ لَہٗ مَا فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الۡاَرۡضِ وَ لَہُ الدِّیۡنُ وَاصِبًا ؕ اَفَغَیۡرَ اللّٰہِ تَتَّقُوۡنَ ﴿۵۲﴾
52. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. And to Him belongs the everlasting devotion. Will you then be conscious of something other than Allah?
وله ما في السماوات والأرض وله الدين واصبا أفغير الله تتقون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 52)
وَ مَا بِکُمۡ مِّنۡ نِّعۡمَۃٍ فَمِنَ اللّٰہِ ثُمَّ اِذَا مَسَّکُمُ الضُّرُّ فَاِلَیۡہِ تَجۡـَٔرُوۡنَ ﴿ۚ۵۳﴾
53. And whatever blessing you possess comes from Allah. Then, whenever hardship afflicts you, to Him (alone), you cry (for help).
وما بكم من نعمة فمن الله ثم إذا مسكم الضر فإليه تجأرون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 53)
وَ یَجۡعَلُوۡنَ لِمَا لَا یَعۡلَمُوۡنَ نَصِیۡبًا مِّمَّا رَزَقۡنٰہُمۡ ؕ تَاللّٰہِ لَتُسۡـَٔلُنَّ عَمَّا کُنۡتُمۡ تَفۡتَرُوۡنَ ﴿۵۶﴾
56. And they dedicate to those (idols) whom they do not know a share of what We have provided them. By Allah! You will indeed be questioned about (the lies) you used to fabricate.
ويجعلون لما لا يعلمون نصيبا مما رزقناهم تالله لتسألن عما كنتم تفترون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 56)
یَتَوَارٰی مِنَ الۡقَوۡمِ مِنۡ سُوۡٓءِ مَا بُشِّرَ بِہٖ ؕ اَیُمۡسِکُہٗ عَلٰی ہُوۡنٍ اَمۡ یَدُسُّہٗ فِی التُّرَابِ ؕ اَلَا سَآءَ مَا یَحۡکُمُوۡنَ ﴿۵۹﴾
59. He hides from the people because of the evil of the news he has been given. Shall he keep it in disgrace or bury it (alive) in the dust? Indeed, evil is the judgement they make!
يتوارى من القوم من سوء ما بشر به أيمسكه على هون أم يدسه في التراب ألا ساء ما يحكمون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 59)
لِلَّذِیۡنَ لَا یُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِالۡاٰخِرَۃِ مَثَلُ السَّوۡءِ ۚ وَ لِلّٰہِ الۡمَثَلُ الۡاَعۡلٰی ؕ وَ ہُوَ الۡعَزِیۡزُ الۡحَکِیۡمُ ﴿٪۶۰﴾
60. For those who do not believe in the Hereafter, there is an evil example. And the finest exalted example belongs only to Allah. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
للذين لا يؤمنون بالآخرة مثل السوء ولله المثل الأعلى وهو العزيز الحكيم
(النَّحْل، 16 : 60)
وَ لَوۡ یُؤَاخِذُ اللّٰہُ النَّاسَ بِظُلۡمِہِمۡ مَّا تَرَکَ عَلَیۡہَا مِنۡ دَآبَّۃٍ وَّ لٰکِنۡ یُّؤَخِّرُہُمۡ اِلٰۤی اَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّی ۚ فَاِذَا جَآءَ اَجَلُہُمۡ لَا یَسۡتَاۡخِرُوۡنَ سَاعَۃً وَّ لَا یَسۡتَقۡدِمُوۡنَ ﴿۶۱﴾
61. If Allah were to punish people (immediately) for their wrongdoing, He would not leave a single moving creature on the earth, but He would reprieve them till an appointed time. So, when their time arrives, they cannot defer (it) by a moment, nor can they advance (it).
ولو يؤاخذ الله الناس بظلمهم ما ترك عليها من دآبة ولكن يؤخرهم إلى أجل مسمى فإذا جاء أجلهم لا يستأخرون ساعة ولا يستقدمون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 61)
وَ یَجۡعَلُوۡنَ لِلّٰہِ مَا یَکۡرَہُوۡنَ وَ تَصِفُ اَلۡسِنَتُہُمُ الۡکَذِبَ اَنَّ لَہُمُ الۡحُسۡنٰی ؕ لَا جَرَمَ اَنَّ لَہُمُ النَّارَ وَ اَنَّہُمۡ مُّفۡرَطُوۡنَ ﴿۶۲﴾
62. And they attribute to Allah what they dislike (for themselves), and their tongues utter the lie that the best (things) belong to them. Undoubtedly, for them shall be the Fire, and they will be hastened into it (to be abandoned therein).
ويجعلون لله ما يكرهون وتصف ألسنتهم الكذب أن لهم الحسنى لا جرم أن لهم النار وأنهم مفرطون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 62)
تَاللّٰہِ لَقَدۡ اَرۡسَلۡنَاۤ اِلٰۤی اُمَمٍ مِّنۡ قَبۡلِکَ فَزَیَّنَ لَہُمُ الشَّیۡطٰنُ اَعۡمَالَہُمۡ فَہُوَ وَلِیُّہُمُ الۡیَوۡمَ وَ لَہُمۡ عَذَابٌ اَلِیۡمٌ ﴿۶۳﴾
63. By Allah! We have certainly sent (messengers) to (many) nations before you. But Satan made their deeds fair-seeming to them. So, he is their guardian today. And there is a painful punishment for them.
تالله لقد أرسلنا إلى أمم من قبلك فزين لهم الشيطان أعمالهم فهو وليهم اليوم ولهم عذاب أليم
(النَّحْل، 16 : 63)
وَ مَاۤ اَنۡزَلۡنَا عَلَیۡکَ الۡکِتٰبَ اِلَّا لِتُبَیِّنَ لَہُمُ الَّذِی اخۡتَلَفُوۡا فِیۡہِ ۙ وَ ہُدًی وَّ رَحۡمَۃً لِّقَوۡمٍ یُّؤۡمِنُوۡنَ ﴿۶۴﴾
64. And We did not reveal the Book to you, except that you might clarify to them what they differ on, and as a guidance and a mercy for a people who believe.
وما أنزلنا عليك الكتاب إلا لتبين لهم الذي اختلفوا فيه وهدى ورحمة لقوم يؤمنون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 64)
وَ اللّٰہُ اَنۡزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَاَحۡیَا بِہِ الۡاَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِہَا ؕ اِنَّ فِیۡ ذٰلِکَ لَاٰیَۃً لِّقَوۡمٍ یَّسۡمَعُوۡنَ ﴿٪۶۵﴾
65. Allah sends down water from the sky, and revives the earth with it after its death. There is indeed a sign in that for people who listen.
والله أنزل من السماء ماء فأحيا به الأرض بعد موتها إن في ذلك لآية لقوم يسمعون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 65)
وَ اِنَّ لَکُمۡ فِی الۡاَنۡعَامِ لَعِبۡرَۃً ؕ نُسۡقِیۡکُمۡ مِّمَّا فِیۡ بُطُوۡنِہٖ مِنۡۢ بَیۡنِ فَرۡثٍ وَّ دَمٍ لَّبَنًا خَالِصًا سَآئِغًا لِّلشّٰرِبِیۡنَ ﴿۶۶﴾
66. And surely in the cattle, there is a lesson for you: We give you to drink from what is in their bellies—produced through compounding some intestinal content and blood—pure milk that is pleasant and nourishing for the drinkers.
وإن لكم في الأنعام لعبرة نسقيكم مما في بطونه من بين فرث ودم لبنا خالصا سآئغا للشاربين
(النَّحْل، 16 : 66)
وَ مِنۡ ثَمَرٰتِ النَّخِیۡلِ وَ الۡاَعۡنَابِ تَتَّخِذُوۡنَ مِنۡہُ سَکَرًا وَّ رِزۡقًا حَسَنًا ؕ اِنَّ فِیۡ ذٰلِکَ لَاٰیَۃً لِّقَوۡمٍ یَّعۡقِلُوۡنَ ﴿۶۷﴾
67. And from the fruits of date palms and grapes, you derive sweet juice (or vinegar) and other pleasant foods. There is indeed a sign in that for people who understand.
ومن ثمرات النخيل والأعناب تتخذون منه سكرا ورزقا حسنا إن في ذلك لآية لقوم يعقلون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 67)
وَ اَوۡحٰی رَبُّکَ اِلَی النَّحۡلِ اَنِ اتَّخِذِیۡ مِنَ الۡجِبَالِ بُیُوۡتًا وَّ مِنَ الشَّجَرِ وَ مِمَّا یَعۡرِشُوۡنَ ﴿ۙ۶۸﴾
68. Your Lord inspired the bees (saying:) ‘Make hives in the mountains, the trees and whatever they build.
وأوحى ربك إلى النحل أن اتخذي من الجبال بيوتا ومن الشجر ومما يعرشون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 68)
ثُمَّ کُلِیۡ مِنۡ کُلِّ الثَّمَرٰتِ فَاسۡلُکِیۡ سُبُلَ رَبِّکِ ذُلُلًا ؕ یَخۡرُجُ مِنۡۢ بُطُوۡنِہَا شَرَابٌ مُّخۡتَلِفٌ اَلۡوَانُہٗ فِیۡہِ شِفَآءٌ لِّلنَّاسِ ؕ اِنَّ فِیۡ ذٰلِکَ لَاٰیَۃً لِّقَوۡمٍ یَّتَفَکَّرُوۡنَ ﴿۶۹﴾
69. Then eat from (the flowers of) all kinds of fruit, and follow the ways made easy (for you) by your Lord.’ Then comes out from their bellies a liquid (i.e. honey) of different colours, in which there is a cure for the people. Therein is indeed a sign for people who reflect.
ثم كلي من كل الثمرات فاسلكي سبل ربك ذللا يخرج من بطونها شراب مختلف ألوانه فيه شفاء للناس إن في ذلك لآية لقوم يتفكرون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 69)
وَ اللّٰہُ خَلَقَکُمۡ ثُمَّ یَتَوَفّٰىکُمۡ ۟ۙ وَ مِنۡکُمۡ مَّنۡ یُّرَدُّ اِلٰۤی اَرۡذَلِ الۡعُمُرِ لِکَیۡ لَا یَعۡلَمَ بَعۡدَ عِلۡمٍ شَیۡئًا ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ عَلِیۡمٌ قَدِیۡرٌ ﴿٪۷۰﴾
70. And Allah has created you, then He causes you to die. And some among you are brought back to the frail old age, such that he may know nothing after (having possessed) some knowledge. Indeed, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Capable.
والله خلقكم ثم يتوفاكم ومنكم من يرد إلى أرذل العمر لكي لا يعلم بعد علم شيئا إن الله عليم قدير
(النَّحْل، 16 : 70)
وَ اللّٰہُ فَضَّلَ بَعۡضَکُمۡ عَلٰی بَعۡضٍ فِی الرِّزۡقِ ۚ فَمَا الَّذِیۡنَ فُضِّلُوۡا بِرَآدِّیۡ رِزۡقِہِمۡ عَلٰی مَا مَلَکَتۡ اَیۡمَانُہُمۡ فَہُمۡ فِیۡہِ سَوَآءٌ ؕ اَفَبِنِعۡمَۃِ اللّٰہِ یَجۡحَدُوۡنَ ﴿۷۱﴾
71. Allah has given some of you an advantage over others in provision. Those who have been given an advantage are unwilling to pass their provision to the slaves they possess so that they become equal in this regard. So, do they reject Allah’s blessing (in this way)?
والله فضل بعضكم على بعض في الرزق فما الذين فضلوا برآدي رزقهم على ما ملكت أيمانهم فهم فيه سواء أفبنعمة الله يجحدون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 71)
وَ اللّٰہُ جَعَلَ لَکُمۡ مِّنۡ اَنۡفُسِکُمۡ اَزۡوَاجًا وَّ جَعَلَ لَکُمۡ مِّنۡ اَزۡوَاجِکُمۡ بَنِیۡنَ وَ حَفَدَۃً وَّ رَزَقَکُمۡ مِّنَ الطَّیِّبٰتِ ؕ اَفَبِالۡبَاطِلِ یُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ وَ بِنِعۡمَتِ اللّٰہِ ہُمۡ یَکۡفُرُوۡنَ ﴿ۙ۷۲﴾
72. Allah made for you spouses from among yourselves and gave you sons and grandchildren from your spouses. And He provided you with all the good things. Will they still believe in falsehood and disregard Allah’s blessings?
والله جعل لكم من أنفسكم أزواجا وجعل لكم من أزواجكم بنين وحفدة ورزقكم من الطيبات أفبالباطل يؤمنون وبنعمت الله هم يكفرون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 72)
وَ یَعۡبُدُوۡنَ مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰہِ مَا لَا یَمۡلِکُ لَہُمۡ رِزۡقًا مِّنَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الۡاَرۡضِ شَیۡئًا وَّ لَا یَسۡتَطِیۡعُوۡنَ ﴿ۚ۷۳﴾
73. And they worship besides Allah those (idols) which have no power to provide them anything from the heavens and the earth, nor are they capable (of doing such a thing).
ويعبدون من دون الله ما لا يملك لهم رزقا من السماوات والأرض شيئا ولا يستطيعون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 73)
ضَرَبَ اللّٰہُ مَثَلًا عَبۡدًا مَّمۡلُوۡکًا لَّا یَقۡدِرُ عَلٰی شَیۡءٍ وَّ مَنۡ رَّزَقۡنٰہُ مِنَّا رِزۡقًا حَسَنًا فَہُوَ یُنۡفِقُ مِنۡہُ سِرًّا وَّ جَہۡرًا ؕ ہَلۡ یَسۡتَوٗنَ ؕ اَلۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰہِ ؕ بَلۡ اَکۡثَرُہُمۡ لَا یَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿۷۵﴾
75. Allah draws a parable: a servant enslaved having no power over anything, and the (other) one whom We have blessed with good sustenance from Ourselves and he spends out of it secretly and openly—can they be equal? All praise belongs to Allah. But most of them do not know.
ضرب الله مثلا عبدا مملوكا لا يقدر على شيء ومن رزقناه منا رزقا حسنا فهو ينفق منه سرا وجهرا هل يستوون الحمد لله بل أكثرهم لا يعلمون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 75)
وَ ضَرَبَ اللّٰہُ مَثَلًا رَّجُلَیۡنِ اَحَدُہُمَاۤ اَبۡکَمُ لَا یَقۡدِرُ عَلٰی شَیۡءٍ وَّ ہُوَ کَلٌّ عَلٰی مَوۡلٰىہُ ۙ اَیۡنَمَا یُوَجِّہۡہُّ لَایَاۡتِ بِخَیۡرٍ ؕ ہَلۡ یَسۡتَوِیۡ ہُوَ ۙ وَ مَنۡ یَّاۡمُرُ بِالۡعَدۡلِ ۙ وَ ہُوَ عَلٰی صِرَاطٍ مُّسۡتَقِیۡمٍ ﴿٪۷۶﴾
76. And Allah draws (another) parable of two men: one of them is dumb, incapable of doing anything, and he is a burden to his master; wherever he sends him, he does not achieve any good. Can he be equal to someone who commands justice and is (steady) on a straight path?
وضرب الله مثلا رجلين أحدهما أبكم لا يقدر على شيء وهو كل على مولاه أينما يوجهه لا يأت بخير هل يستوي هو ومن يأمر بالعدل وهو على صراط مستقيم
(النَّحْل، 16 : 76)
وَ لِلّٰہِ غَیۡبُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الۡاَرۡضِ ؕ وَ مَاۤ اَمۡرُ السَّاعَۃِ اِلَّا کَلَمۡحِ الۡبَصَرِ اَوۡ ہُوَ اَقۡرَبُ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ عَلٰی کُلِّ شَیۡءٍ قَدِیۡرٌ ﴿۷۷﴾
77. And to Allah belongs the Unseen of the heavens and the earth. And the matter of the Last Hour is just like the blinking of an eye, or even quicker. Indeed, Allah is All-Capable of everything.
ولله غيب السماوات والأرض وما أمر الساعة إلا كلمح البصر أو هو أقرب إن الله على كل شيء قدير
(النَّحْل، 16 : 77)
وَ اللّٰہُ اَخۡرَجَکُمۡ مِّنۡۢ بُطُوۡنِ اُمَّہٰتِکُمۡ لَا تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ شَیۡئًا ۙ وَّ جَعَلَ لَکُمُ السَّمۡعَ وَ الۡاَبۡصَارَ وَ الۡاَفۡـِٕدَۃَ ۙ لَعَلَّکُمۡ تَشۡکُرُوۡنَ ﴿۷۸﴾
78. And Allah has brought you out from the wombs of your mothers (in such a state) that you did not know anything. And He gave you hearing, sight and hearts, so that you may give thanks.
والله أخرجكم من بطون أمهاتكم لا تعلمون شيئا وجعل لكم السمع والأبصار والأفئدة لعلكم تشكرون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 78)
اَلَمۡ یَرَوۡا اِلَی الطَّیۡرِ مُسَخَّرٰتٍ فِیۡ جَوِّ السَّمَآءِ ؕ مَا یُمۡسِکُہُنَّ اِلَّا اللّٰہُ ؕ اِنَّ فِیۡ ذٰلِکَ لَاٰیٰتٍ لِّقَوۡمٍ یُّؤۡمِنُوۡنَ ﴿۷۹﴾
79. Have they not seen the birds that are made to fly through the air in the sky? Nothing sustains them (in the air) but Allah. There are indeed signs in this (law of aerodynamics) for the believers.
ألم يروا إلى الطير مسخرات في جو السماء ما يمسكهن إلا الله إن في ذلك لآيات لقوم يؤمنون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 79)
وَ اللّٰہُ جَعَلَ لَکُمۡ مِّنۡۢ بُیُوۡتِکُمۡ سَکَنًا وَّ جَعَلَ لَکُمۡ مِّنۡ جُلُوۡدِ الۡاَنۡعَامِ بُیُوۡتًا تَسۡتَخِفُّوۡنَہَا یَوۡمَ ظَعۡنِکُمۡ وَ یَوۡمَ اِقَامَتِکُمۡ ۙ وَ مِنۡ اَصۡوَافِہَا وَ اَوۡبَارِہَا وَ اَشۡعَارِہَاۤ اَثَاثًا وَّ مَتَاعًا اِلٰی حِیۡنٍ ﴿۸۰﴾
80. And Allah has made for you a place of rest in your homes. He has made for you (portable) dwellings (i.e. tents) from the skins of cattle, which you find easy to carry on the day of your travelling and on the day of your camping. And from their wool, and their fur and their hair, (He has given you) household stuff and other provisions for a time.
والله جعل لكم من بيوتكم سكنا وجعل لكم من جلود الأنعام بيوتا تستخفونها يوم ظعنكم ويوم إقامتكم ومن أصوافها وأوبارها وأشعارها أثاثا ومتاعا إلى حين
(النَّحْل، 16 : 80)
وَ اللّٰہُ جَعَلَ لَکُمۡ مِّمَّا خَلَقَ ظِلٰلًا وَّ جَعَلَ لَکُمۡ مِّنَ الۡجِبَالِ اَکۡنَانًا وَّ جَعَلَ لَکُمۡ سَرَابِیۡلَ تَقِیۡکُمُ الۡحَرَّ وَ سَرَابِیۡلَ تَقِیۡکُمۡ بَاۡسَکُمۡ ؕ کَذٰلِکَ یُتِمُّ نِعۡمَتَہٗ عَلَیۡکُمۡ لَعَلَّکُمۡ تُسۡلِمُوۡنَ ﴿۸۱﴾
81. Allah has made shade for you from what He has created. And He has prepared for you the places of retreat and shelter in the mountains. And He has made for you the garments that protect you from heat and armours that protect you in your fighting. That is how Allah completes His blessings upon you, so that you may submit (to Him).
والله جعل لكم مما خلق ظلالا وجعل لكم من الجبال أكنانا وجعل لكم سرابيل تقيكم الحر وسرابيل تقيكم بأسكم كذلك يتم نعمته عليكم لعلكم تسلمون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 81)
وَ یَوۡمَ نَبۡعَثُ مِنۡ کُلِّ اُمَّۃٍ شَہِیۡدًا ثُمَّ لَا یُؤۡذَنُ لِلَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا وَ لَا ہُمۡ یُسۡتَعۡتَبُوۡنَ ﴿۸۴﴾
84. And on the Day when We shall raise a witness from every nation—those who disbelieve will not be permitted (to speak), nor will they be allowed to make amends(or excuses).
ويوم نبعث من كل أمة شهيدا ثم لا يؤذن للذين كفروا ولا هم يستعتبون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 84)
وَ اِذَا رَاَ الَّذِیۡنَ ظَلَمُوا الۡعَذَابَ فَلَا یُخَفَّفُ عَنۡہُمۡ وَ لَا ہُمۡ یُنۡظَرُوۡنَ ﴿۸۵﴾
85. And when the wrongdoers shall see the punishment, it shall not be lightened for them, nor shall they be granted respite.
وإذا رأى الذين ظلموا العذاب فلا يخفف عنهم ولا هم ينظرون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 85)
وَ اِذَا رَاَ الَّذِیۡنَ اَشۡرَکُوۡا شُرَکَآءَہُمۡ قَالُوۡا رَبَّنَا ہٰۤؤُلَآءِ شُرَکَآؤُنَا الَّذِیۡنَ کُنَّا نَدۡعُوۡا مِنۡ دُوۡنِکَ ۚ فَاَلۡقَوۡا اِلَیۡہِمُ الۡقَوۡلَ اِنَّکُمۡ لَکٰذِبُوۡنَ ﴿ۚ۸۶﴾
86. And when those who ascribe partners (to Allah) shall see their associate gods, they will say: ‘Our Lord! These are our associate gods whom we used to worship besides You.’ But they will reply to them: ‘Most surely, you are liars!’
وإذا رأى الذين أشركوا شركاءهم قالوا ربنا هـؤلاء شركآؤنا الذين كنا ندعوا من دونك فألقوا إليهم القول إنكم لكاذبون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 86)
اَلَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا وَ صَدُّوۡا عَنۡ سَبِیۡلِ اللّٰہِ زِدۡنٰہُمۡ عَذَابًا فَوۡقَ الۡعَذَابِ بِمَا کَانُوۡا یُفۡسِدُوۡنَ ﴿۸۸﴾
88. Those who disbelieve and bar others from the way of Allah, We shall add (more) punishment to their punishment for all the corruption they used to cause.
الذين كفروا وصدوا عن سبيل الله زدناهم عذابا فوق العذاب بما كانوا يفسدون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 88)
وَ یَوۡمَ نَبۡعَثُ فِیۡ کُلِّ اُمَّۃٍ شَہِیۡدًا عَلَیۡہِمۡ مِّنۡ اَنۡفُسِہِمۡ وَ جِئۡنَا بِکَ شَہِیۡدًا عَلٰی ہٰۤؤُلَآءِ ؕ وَ نَزَّلۡنَا عَلَیۡکَ الۡکِتٰبَ تِبۡیَانًا لِّکُلِّ شَیۡءٍ وَّ ہُدًی وَّ رَحۡمَۃً وَّ بُشۡرٰی لِلۡمُسۡلِمِیۡنَ ﴿٪۸۹﴾
89. And on the Day when We shall raise in every nation a witness against them from among themselves, We shall bring you (Esteemed Prophet) as a witness against all of them. And We have revealed the Book to you explaining everything clearly, and as a guidance, mercy and glad tidings for those who submit themselves (to God).
ويوم نبعث في كل أمة شهيدا عليهم من أنفسهم وجئنا بك شهيدا على هـؤلاء ونزلنا عليك الكتاب تبيانا لكل شيء وهدى ورحمة وبشرى للمسلمين
(النَّحْل، 16 : 89)
اِنَّ اللّٰہَ یَاۡمُرُ بِالۡعَدۡلِ وَ الۡاِحۡسَانِ وَ اِیۡتَآیِٔ ذِی الۡقُرۡبٰی وَ یَنۡہٰی عَنِ الۡفَحۡشَآءِ وَ الۡمُنۡکَرِ وَ الۡبَغۡیِ ۚ یَعِظُکُمۡ لَعَلَّکُمۡ تَذَکَّرُوۡنَ ﴿۹۰﴾
90. Indeed, Allah enjoins justice, benevolence and giving to relatives, and He forbids indecency, wrongdoing and aggression. He advises you so that you may be mindful of advice.
إن الله يأمر بالعدل والإحسان وإيتاء ذي القربى وينهى عن الفحشاء والمنكر والبغي يعظكم لعلكم تذكرون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 90)
وَ اَوۡفُوۡا بِعَہۡدِ اللّٰہِ اِذَا عٰہَدۡتُّمۡ وَ لَا تَنۡقُضُوا الۡاَیۡمَانَ بَعۡدَ تَوۡکِیۡدِہَا وَ قَدۡ جَعَلۡتُمُ اللّٰہَ عَلَیۡکُمۡ کَفِیۡلًا ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ یَعۡلَمُ مَا تَفۡعَلُوۡنَ ﴿۹۱﴾
91. And fulfil Allah’s covenant when you have pledged it. And do not break your oaths after affirming them and having made Allah a surety over yourselves. Indeed, Allah knows whatever you do.
وأوفوا بعهد الله إذا عاهدتم ولا تنقضوا الأيمان بعد توكيدها وقد جعلتم الله عليكم كفيلا إن الله يعلم ما تفعلون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 91)
وَ لَا تَکُوۡنُوۡا کَالَّتِیۡ نَقَضَتۡ غَزۡلَہَا مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ قُوَّۃٍ اَنۡکَاثًا ؕ تَتَّخِذُوۡنَ اَیۡمَانَکُمۡ دَخَلًۢا بَیۡنَکُمۡ اَنۡ تَکُوۡنَ اُمَّۃٌ ہِیَ اَرۡبٰی مِنۡ اُمَّۃٍ ؕ اِنَّمَا یَبۡلُوۡکُمُ اللّٰہُ بِہٖ ؕ وَ لَیُبَیِّنَنَّ لَکُمۡ یَوۡمَ الۡقِیٰمَۃِ مَا کُنۡتُمۡ فِیۡہِ تَخۡتَلِفُوۡنَ ﴿۹۲﴾
92. Do not be like the woman who unravels her yarn, breaking it (to pieces) after (spinning it to) strength, by making your oaths a means of deception among yourselves, so one community may become more affluent (and wealthier) than another community. Allah only tests you by this. And He will most surely clarify for you what you used to differ about on the Day of Resurrection.
ولا تكونوا كالتي نقضت غزلها من بعد قوة أنكاثا تتخذون أيمانكم دخلا بينكم أن تكون أمة هي أربى من أمة إنما يبلوكم الله به وليبينن لكم يوم القيامة ما كنتم فيه تختلفون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 92)
وَ لَوۡ شَآءَ اللّٰہُ لَجَعَلَکُمۡ اُمَّۃً وَّاحِدَۃً وَّ لٰکِنۡ یُّضِلُّ مَنۡ یَّشَآءُ وَ یَہۡدِیۡ مَنۡ یَّشَآءُ ؕ وَ لَتُسۡـَٔلُنَّ عَمَّا کُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ ﴿۹۳﴾
93. And if Allah had willed, He would certainly have made you a single nation, but He leaves to stray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And you will surely be questioned concerning what you used to do.
ولو شاء الله لجعلكم أمة واحدة ولكن يضل من يشاء ويهدي من يشاء ولتسألن عما كنتم تعملون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 93)
وَ لَا تَتَّخِذُوۡۤا اَیۡمَانَکُمۡ دَخَلًۢا بَیۡنَکُمۡ فَتَزِلَّ قَدَمٌۢ بَعۡدَ ثُبُوۡتِہَا وَ تَذُوۡقُوا السُّوۡٓءَ بِمَا صَدَدۡتُّمۡ عَنۡ سَبِیۡلِ اللّٰہِ ۚ وَ لَکُمۡ عَذَابٌ عَظِیۡمٌ ﴿۹۴﴾
94. And do not use your oaths as a means of deception among yourselves, lest any foot should slip after being firmly placed, and lest you should taste the penalty for barring others from the way of Allah. And there shall be a great punishment for you.
ولا تتخذوا أيمانكم دخلا بينكم فتزل قدم بعد ثبوتها وتذوقوا السوء بما صددتم عن سبيل الله ولكم عذاب عظيم
(النَّحْل، 16 : 94)
وَ لَا تَشۡتَرُوۡا بِعَہۡدِ اللّٰہِ ثَمَنًا قَلِیۡلًا ؕ اِنَّمَا عِنۡدَ اللّٰہِ ہُوَ خَیۡرٌ لَّکُمۡ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿۹۵﴾
95. And do not sell Allah’s covenant in exchange for a small gain (i.e. some worldly benefit). Indeed, what is with Allah is better for you if (only) you know.
ولا تشتروا بعهد الله ثمنا قليلا إنما عند الله هو خير لكم إن كنتم تعلمون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 95)
مَا عِنۡدَکُمۡ یَنۡفَدُ وَ مَا عِنۡدَ اللّٰہِ بَاقٍ ؕ وَ لَنَجۡزِیَنَّ الَّذِیۡنَ صَبَرُوۡۤا اَجۡرَہُمۡ بِاَحۡسَنِ مَا کَانُوۡا یَعۡمَلُوۡنَ ﴿۹۶﴾
96. Whatever is with you will finish, but whatever is with Allah is everlasting. We will surely give the patient their reward by the best of what they used to do.
ما عندكم ينفد وما عند الله باق ولنجزين الذين صبروا أجرهم بأحسن ما كانوا يعملون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 96)
مَنۡ عَمِلَ صَالِحًا مِّنۡ ذَکَرٍ اَوۡ اُنۡثٰی وَ ہُوَ مُؤۡمِنٌ فَلَنُحۡیِیَنَّہٗ حَیٰوۃً طَیِّبَۃً ۚ وَ لَنَجۡزِیَنَّہُمۡ اَجۡرَہُمۡ بِاَحۡسَنِ مَا کَانُوۡا یَعۡمَلُوۡنَ ﴿۹۷﴾
97. Whoever acts righteously, male or female, and is a (true) believer, We shall certainly revive them with a good life and pay them their reward according to the best of what they used to do.
من عمل صالحا من ذكر أو أنثى وهو مؤمن فلنحيينه حياة طيبة ولنجزينهم أجرهم بأحسن ما كانوا يعملون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 97)
اِنَّمَا سُلۡطٰنُہٗ عَلَی الَّذِیۡنَ یَتَوَلَّوۡنَہٗ وَ الَّذِیۡنَ ہُمۡ بِہٖ مُشۡرِکُوۡنَ ﴿۱۰۰﴾٪
100. His control (or influence) is only over those who befriend him (or take him as their guardian) and those who make him a partner (to Allah).
إنما سلطانه على الذين يتولونه والذين هم به مشركون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 100)
وَ اِذَا بَدَّلۡنَاۤ اٰیَۃً مَّکَانَ اٰیَۃٍ ۙ وَّ اللّٰہُ اَعۡلَمُ بِمَا یُنَزِّلُ قَالُوۡۤا اِنَّمَاۤ اَنۡتَ مُفۡتَرٍ ؕ بَلۡ اَکۡثَرُہُمۡ لَا یَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿۱۰۱﴾
101. And when We replace one verse with another verse—and Allah knows best what He reveals—they say: ‘You are only a fabricator.’ Instead, most of them do not know (the reason for the abrogation or the wisdom behind its substitution).
وإذا بدلنا آية مكان آية والله أعلم بما ينزل قالوا إنما أنت مفتر بل أكثرهم لا يعلمون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 101)
قُلۡ نَزَّلَہٗ رُوۡحُ الۡقُدُسِ مِنۡ رَّبِّکَ بِالۡحَقِّ لِیُـثَبِّتَ الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَ ہُدًی وَّ بُشۡرٰی لِلۡمُسۡلِمِیۡنَ ﴿۱۰۲﴾
102. Say: ‘The Holy Spirit (Gabriel) has brought it (i.e. the Qur’an) down from your Lord with the truth to fortify those who believe, and as a guidance and glad tidings for those who submit.’
قل نزله روح القدس من ربك بالحق ليثبت الذين آمنوا وهدى وبشرى للمسلمين
(النَّحْل، 16 : 102)
وَ لَقَدۡ نَعۡلَمُ اَنَّہُمۡ یَقُوۡلُوۡنَ اِنَّمَا یُعَلِّمُہٗ بَشَرٌ ؕ لِسَانُ الَّذِیۡ یُلۡحِدُوۡنَ اِلَیۡہِ اَعۡجَمِیٌّ وَّ ہٰذَا لِسَانٌ عَرَبِیٌّ مُّبِیۡنٌ ﴿۱۰۳﴾
103. And indeed, We know that they say: ‘It is only a human being who teaches him.’ The language of the person whom they falsely refer to is non-Arabic, while this (Qur’an) is (in) clear Arabic.
ولقد نعلم أنهم يقولون إنما يعلمه بشر لسان الذي يلحدون إليه أعجمي وهـذا لسان عربي مبين
(النَّحْل، 16 : 103)
اِنَّ الَّذِیۡنَ لَا یُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِاٰیٰتِ اللّٰہِ ۙ لَا یَہۡدِیۡہِمُ اللّٰہُ وَ لَہُمۡ عَذَابٌ اَلِیۡمٌ ﴿۱۰۴﴾
104. As for those who do not believe in Allah’s revelations, Allah will not guide them, and there is a painful punishment for them.
إن الذين لا يؤمنون بآيات الله لا يهديهم الله ولهم عذاب أليم
(النَّحْل، 16 : 104)
اِنَّمَا یَفۡتَرِی الۡکَذِبَ الَّذِیۡنَ لَا یُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِاٰیٰتِ اللّٰہِ ۚ وَ اُولٰٓئِکَ ہُمُ الۡکٰذِبُوۡنَ ﴿۱۰۵﴾
105. Only those (people can) fabricate falsehood who do not believe in Allah’s revelations. And it is they who are liars.
إنما يفتري الكذب الذين لا يؤمنون بآيات الله وأولـئك هم الكاذبون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 105)
مَنۡ کَفَرَ بِاللّٰہِ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ اِیۡمَانِہٖۤ اِلَّا مَنۡ اُکۡرِہَ وَ قَلۡبُہٗ مُطۡمَئِنٌّۢ بِالۡاِیۡمَانِ وَ لٰکِنۡ مَّنۡ شَرَحَ بِالۡکُفۡرِ صَدۡرًا فَعَلَیۡہِمۡ غَضَبٌ مِّنَ اللّٰہِ ۚ وَ لَہُمۡ عَذَابٌ عَظِیۡمٌ ﴿۱۰۶﴾
106. Whoever renounces faith in Allah after (affirming) his belief, except for one who is forced while his heart is content with faith (as before). But whosoever opens his breast to disbelief, upon such (people) shall be Allah’s wrath, and there is a great punishment for them.
من كفر بالله من بعد إيمانه إلا من أكره وقلبه مطمئن بالإيمان ولـكن من شرح بالكفر صدرا فعليهم غضب من الله ولهم عذاب عظيم
(النَّحْل، 16 : 106)
ذٰلِکَ بِاَنَّہُمُ اسۡتَحَبُّوا الۡحَیٰوۃَ الدُّنۡیَا عَلَی الۡاٰخِرَۃِ ۙ وَ اَنَّ اللّٰہَ لَا یَہۡدِی الۡقَوۡمَ الۡکٰفِرِیۡنَ ﴿۱۰۷﴾
107. That is because they preferred this worldly life to the Hereafter. Indeed, Allah does not guide the disbelieving people.
ذلك بأنهم استحبوا الحياة الدنيا على الآخرة وأن الله لا يهدي القوم الكافرين
(النَّحْل، 16 : 107)
اُولٰٓئِکَ الَّذِیۡنَ طَبَعَ اللّٰہُ عَلٰی قُلُوۡبِہِمۡ وَ سَمۡعِہِمۡ وَ اَبۡصَارِہِمۡ ۚ وَ اُولٰٓئِکَ ہُمُ الۡغٰفِلُوۡنَ ﴿۱۰۸﴾
108. They are the ones whose hearts, and their hearing, and their sight have been sealed by Allah. They are the ones who are neglectful (of their end in the Hereafter).
أولـئك الذين طبع الله على قلوبهم وسمعهم وأبصارهم وأولـئك هم الغافلون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 108)
ثُمَّ اِنَّ رَبَّکَ لِلَّذِیۡنَ ہَاجَرُوۡا مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ مَا فُتِنُوۡا ثُمَّ جٰہَدُوۡا وَ صَبَرُوۡۤا ۙ اِنَّ رَبَّکَ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِہَا لَغَفُوۡرٌ رَّحِیۡمٌ ﴿۱۱۰﴾٪
110. Then, your Lord (will forgive) those who migrated after being persecuted (to renounce Islam) and struggled hard and remained patient. Your Lord, most surely, after that, is Most Forgiving, All-Merciful.
ثم إن ربك للذين هاجروا من بعد ما فتنوا ثم جاهدوا وصبروا إن ربك من بعدها لغفور رحيم
(النَّحْل، 16 : 110)
یَوۡمَ تَاۡتِیۡ کُلُّ نَفۡسٍ تُجَادِلُ عَنۡ نَّفۡسِہَا وَ تُوَفّٰی کُلُّ نَفۡسٍ مَّا عَمِلَتۡ وَ ہُمۡ لَا یُظۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿۱۱۱﴾
111. (Remember) the Day when every soul will come pleading for itself, and every soul will be recompensed (fully) for what it has done, and they will not be wronged.
يوم تأتي كل نفس تجادل عن نفسها وتوفى كل نفس ما عملت وهم لا يظلمون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 111)
وَ ضَرَبَ اللّٰہُ مَثَلًا قَرۡیَۃً کَانَتۡ اٰمِنَۃً مُّطۡمَئِنَّۃً یَّاۡتِیۡہَا رِزۡقُہَا رَغَدًا مِّنۡ کُلِّ مَکَانٍ فَکَفَرَتۡ بِاَنۡعُمِ اللّٰہِ فَاَذَاقَہَا اللّٰہُ لِبَاسَ الۡجُوۡعِ وَ الۡخَوۡفِ بِمَا کَانُوۡا یَصۡنَعُوۡنَ ﴿۱۱۲﴾
112. And Allah gives the example of a town that was secure and peaceful. Its provision came in abundance from every quarter. But (the people of) this (town) became ungrateful to Allah’s blessings. So Allah made it taste the garment of hunger and fear for what its people had been doing.
وضرب الله مثلا قرية كانت آمنة مطمئنة يأتيها رزقها رغدا من كل مكان فكفرت بأنعم الله فأذاقها الله لباس الجوع والخوف بما كانوا يصنعون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 112)
وَ لَقَدۡ جَآءَہُمۡ رَسُوۡلٌ مِّنۡہُمۡ فَکَذَّبُوۡہُ فَاَخَذَہُمُ الۡعَذَابُ وَ ہُمۡ ظٰلِمُوۡنَ ﴿۱۱۳﴾
113. A messenger had certainly come to them from among themselves, but they rejected him. So, the punishment overtook them while they were wrongdoers.
ولقد جاءهم رسول منهم فكذبوه فأخذهم العذاب وهم ظالمون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 113)
فَکُلُوۡا مِمَّا رَزَقَکُمُ اللّٰہُ حَلٰلًا طَیِّبًا ۪ وَّ اشۡکُرُوۡا نِعۡمَتَ اللّٰہِ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ اِیَّاہُ تَعۡبُدُوۡنَ ﴿۱۱۴﴾
114. So eat from what Allah has provided you as lawful and pure (sustenance), and give thanks for Allah’s blessing, if it is He whom you worship.
فكلوا مما رزقكم الله حلالا طيبا واشكروا نعمت الله إن كنتم إياه تعبدون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 114)
اِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ عَلَیۡکُمُ الۡمَیۡتَۃَ وَ الدَّمَ وَ لَحۡمَ الۡخِنۡزِیۡرِ وَ مَاۤ اُہِلَّ لِغَیۡرِ اللّٰہِ بِہٖ ۚ فَمَنِ اضۡطُرَّ غَیۡرَ بَاغٍ وَّ لَا عَادٍ فَاِنَّ اللّٰہَ غَفُوۡرٌ رَّحِیۡمٌ ﴿۱۱۵﴾
115. He has only forbidden you carrion (i.e. the lawful animal that dies by itself without slaughtering), blood, the flesh of swine, and animals over which any name other than Allah’s has been invoked at the time of slaughter. But whoever is compelled by extreme necessity, not wilfully disobeying nor exceeding the limit, indeed, Allah is Most-Forgiving, All-Merciful.
إنما حرم عليكم الميتة والدم ولحم الخنزير ومآ أهل لغير الله به فمن اضطر غير باغ ولا عاد فإن الله غفور رحيم
(النَّحْل، 16 : 115)
وَ لَا تَقُوۡلُوۡا لِمَا تَصِفُ اَلۡسِنَتُکُمُ الۡکَذِبَ ہٰذَا حَلٰلٌ وَّ ہٰذَا حَرَامٌ لِّتَفۡتَرُوۡا عَلَی اللّٰہِ الۡکَذِبَ ؕ اِنَّ الَّذِیۡنَ یَفۡتَرُوۡنَ عَلَی اللّٰہِ الۡکَذِبَ لَا یُفۡلِحُوۡنَ ﴿۱۱۶﴾ؕ
116. And do not say, asserting falsely with your tongues, ‘This is lawful, and this is forbidden’, to fabricate lies against Allah. Indeed, those who fabricate falsehood against Allah shall not prosper.
ولا تقولوا لما تصف ألسنتكم الكذب هـذا حلال وهـذا حرام لتفتروا على الله الكذب إن الذين يفترون على الله الكذب لا يفلحون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 116)
وَ عَلَی الَّذِیۡنَ ہَادُوۡا حَرَّمۡنَا مَا قَصَصۡنَا عَلَیۡکَ مِنۡ قَبۡلُ ۚ وَ مَا ظَلَمۡنٰہُمۡ وَ لٰکِنۡ کَانُوۡۤا اَنۡفُسَہُمۡ یَظۡلِمُوۡنَ ﴿۱۱۸﴾
118. And as for the Jews, We had prohibited for them what We have recounted to you earlier, and We did not wrong them, but they used to wrong themselves.
وعلى الذين هادوا حرمنا ما قصصنا عليك من قبل وما ظلمناهم ولـكن كانوا أنفسهم يظلمون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 118)
ثُمَّ اِنَّ رَبَّکَ لِلَّذِیۡنَ عَمِلُوا السُّوۡٓءَ بِجَہَالَۃٍ ثُمَّ تَابُوۡا مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ ذٰلِکَ وَ اَصۡلَحُوۡۤا ۙ اِنَّ رَبَّکَ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِہَا لَغَفُوۡرٌ رَّحِیۡمٌ ﴿۱۱۹﴾٪
119. Then indeed, your Lord, concerning those who commit evil out of ignorance and then repent after that and reform (themselves)—most surely, after this, your Lord will be Most-Forgiving, All-Merciful.
ثم إن ربك للذين عملوا السوء بجهالة ثم تابوا من بعد ذلك وأصلحوا إن ربك من بعدها لغفور رحيم
(النَّحْل، 16 : 119)
اِنَّ اِبۡرٰہِیۡمَ کَانَ اُمَّۃً قَانِتًا لِّلّٰہِ حَنِیۡفًا ؕ وَ لَمۡ یَکُ مِنَ الۡمُشۡرِکِیۡنَ ﴿۱۲۰﴾ۙ
120. Indeed, Ibrahim (Abraham) was a nation (in himself and a model of excellence), devoutly obedient to Allah, most upright, and he was not from the polytheists.
إن إبراهيم كان أمة قانتا لله حنيفا ولم يك من المشركين
(النَّحْل، 16 : 120)
ثُمَّ اَوۡحَیۡنَاۤ اِلَیۡکَ اَنِ اتَّبِعۡ مِلَّۃَ اِبۡرٰہِیۡمَ حَنِیۡفًا ؕ وَ مَا کَانَ مِنَ الۡمُشۡرِکِیۡنَ ﴿۱۲۳﴾
123. Then We revealed to you (saying): ‘Follow the faith of Ibrahim (Abraham), the upright, and he was not among the polytheists.’
ثم أوحينا إليك أن اتبع ملة إبراهيم حنيفا وما كان من المشركين
(النَّحْل، 16 : 123)
اِنَّمَا جُعِلَ السَّبۡتُ عَلَی الَّذِیۡنَ اخۡتَلَفُوۡا فِیۡہِ ؕ وَ اِنَّ رَبَّکَ لَیَحۡکُمُ بَیۡنَہُمۡ یَوۡمَ الۡقِیٰمَۃِ فِیۡمَا کَانُوۡا فِیۡہِ یَخۡتَلِفُوۡنَ ﴿۱۲۴﴾
124. And the Sabbath was ordained only for those who disputed about him (i.e. Abraham). And your Lord will surely judge between them on the Day of Resurrection, concerning what they used to differ.
إنما جعل السبت على الذين اختلفوا فيه وإن ربك ليحكم بينهم يوم القيامة فيما كانوا فيه يختلفون
(النَّحْل، 16 : 124)
اُدۡعُ اِلٰی سَبِیۡلِ رَبِّکَ بِالۡحِکۡمَۃِ وَ الۡمَوۡعِظَۃِ الۡحَسَنَۃِ وَ جَادِلۡہُمۡ بِالَّتِیۡ ہِیَ اَحۡسَنُ ؕ اِنَّ رَبَّکَ ہُوَ اَعۡلَمُ بِمَنۡ ضَلَّ عَنۡ سَبِیۡلِہٖ وَ ہُوَ اَعۡلَمُ بِالۡمُہۡتَدِیۡنَ ﴿۱۲۵﴾
125. Invite (people) to the way of your Lord with wisdom and courteous advice, and dispute with them (if needed) in the most gracious manner. Indeed, your Lord knows best those who have strayed from His way, and He knows best those who follow the right way.
ادع إلى سبيل ربك بالحكمة والموعظة الحسنة وجادلهم بالتي هي أحسن إن ربك هو أعلم بمن ضل عن سبيله وهو أعلم بالمهتدين
(النَّحْل، 16 : 125)
وَ اِنۡ عَاقَبۡتُمۡ فَعَاقِبُوۡا بِمِثۡلِ مَا عُوۡقِبۡتُمۡ بِہٖ ؕ وَ لَئِنۡ صَبَرۡتُمۡ لَہُوَ خَیۡرٌ لِّلصّٰبِرِیۡنَ ﴿۱۲۶﴾
126. (O believers!) If you have to retaliate, make your response equivalent to what you have been made to suffer. But if you adopt patience, that is surely better for the patient.
وإن عاقبتم فعاقبوا بمثل ما عوقبتم به ولئن صبرتم لهو خير للصابرين
(النَّحْل، 16 : 126)
وَ اصۡبِرۡ وَ مَا صَبۡرُکَ اِلَّا بِاللّٰہِ وَ لَا تَحۡزَنۡ عَلَیۡہِمۡ وَ لَا تَکُ فِیۡ ضَیۡقٍ مِّمَّا یَمۡکُرُوۡنَ ﴿۱۲۷﴾
