24. (Esteemed Prophet!) Say: ‘If your fathers, your children, your brothers, your spouses, your tribe, the possessions which you have acquired, the business whose decline you may fear and the dwellings which you find pleasing are more beloved to you than Allah, His Messenger (blessings and peace be upon him) and striving in His way, then wait until Allah issues His command (of torment). And Allah does not guide the disobedient people.’

قل إن كان آباؤكم وأبنآؤكم وإخوانكم وأزواجكم وعشيرتكم وأموال اقترفتموها وتجارة تخشون كسادها ومساكن ترضونها أحب إليكم من الله ورسوله وجهاد في سبيله فتربصوا حتى يأتي الله بأمره والله لا يهدي القوم الفاسقين
